The lights dimmed as the song came to an end. It was one of y Zone’s last rehearsals before the real thing that would happen a few hours later. A few seconds later, Sato Shori ducked in. “Hey, great job.” You tossed a water bottle and towel in his direction. He caught them gratefully, immediately wiping the glistening sweat off his skin and taking a long drink out of the bottle.

“So, what do you consider your number one point?” Being closer to their age, you found it easy to strike up conversations with the members of y Zone, as you would usually do whenever they had free time and you had no work. “I mean, Mari-chan is good at German, Kento-kun can play the piano, Fuma can sing and Sou is good at making people laugh…and being short.” The both of you let out a laugh. “That’s easy, it’s my name! ‘Shori’ means victory, after all, so that means I can win anything!” You were amused. Usually when parents give their children such cliché names, their children would be embarrassed. But Shori was a different thing altogether. “Oh really?” You cracked a grin. “Prove it, then.”

Kikuchi Fuma popped his head into the room. “What?”

You decided to mess around a little. “Shori wants to confess his love to you, Fuma.” You giggled.

“Are you craving for my attention now, Shori?”
