Jiyeon's POV

When I went back to the practice room to find IU she had gone. I sighed and made my way back out of the practice room. I saw the back figure of someone walking away- it was Seungho.

"Seunghoyah!" I shouted running over to hima nd giving him a hug. 

"Jiyeon," Seungho said turning around and prising me off him. I pouted and he smiled, grabbing my cheek.

"Oh you cutie wittle thing" he said. 

"yah!" I said grabbing both his cheeks and pulling them hard.

"Ow! that hurts, you shouldn't be doing this to your sunbaenim you know." he said rubbing his cheeks.

I glared at him. "Stop showing off that you've already debuted. I'm going to debut soon as well. Next month actually."

"I thought it had been pushed back?" he said confused.

"No they've chnaged it again." I said. 

"I'm still your sunbae." Seungho said smugly. 

I smiled, "Fine." 

Seungho started walking back down the corridor and I ran to catch up again. 

"Your going to be busy once you debut. I won't be able to see you much, will I?" Seungho asked.

I grinned "Why? Will you miss me?"

"No." Seungho said looking away.

"Don't worry hubby. I'll marry you and we'll see each other every day." I told Seungho. 

"Since when am I your hubby?" Seungho asked looking amused.

"Since always" I replied. 

"Seungho..." I said.

"No." He replied straight away, turning away from me.

"Seungho, why won't you go out with me." I asked jokingly trying not to look so serious about it but inside I felt like my heart was going to explode.

"I've already told you. Dating isn't allowed." Seungho said.

"Since when have you stuck to the rules." I muttered.

Seungho pretended not to hear quickening his pace.

Seungho's POV

I knew what Jiyeon was going to ask me before she did.

"No" I said and saw Jiyeon's face fall.

"Why won't you go out with me?" Jiyeon asked me jokingly but I could see the hurt in her eyes.

Why? Why couldn't she understand? 

I quickened my pace but Jiyeon caught up again.

I stopped and Jiyeon copied.

"Jiyeon, can't we just be friends?" I asked her.

We had been friends until now, best friends, since we were kids. I didn't want to ruin that now.

Jiyeon's POV

"Can't we just be friends?" he asked me. "Just friends, best friends, nothing more."

Friends. 

"Yeah sure, we'll be friends. You be my boy friend and I'll be your girl friend." I said trying to make Seungho laugh but Seungho only gave me a small smile. 

Is there something wrong with me?

Was I not pretty enough? Was I annoying?

Why didn't Seungho like me?
