“Jaelin… Can I come in?” I heard someone knocked the door and looked up.

“Ah.. Sure, sure.” It was L’s CEO.

“How are you feeling?” He asked.

“Fine.” I said.

“So um… I umm…” He seems like he wanted to tell me something, but was hesitating to tell me or not.

“Yes? You wanted to tell me something?” I asked.

“It’s about you and Myungsu.” He said.

“What about us?”

“I want you to end this relationship.” He said.

“What? Why?” I asked.

“There are more and more fans becoming anti fans… We’re scared that they might try to hurt you or Myungsu… The INFINITE members will get hurt too.” He said.

I sat there, on the bed… Not knowing what to do or what to think.

“Grandma! Grandpa! What you doing here?” I asked.

“We’re here to see you! Why didn’t you tell us about this?” Grandpa asked.

“Because I didn’t want you to worry about me.” I said.

“Babo… If you got worst we’ll be even more worried.”

“Sorry…” I said.

“Luckily Myungsu called us and told us about you… Or else we’ll still be oblivious about this! He sure is a great kid!” Grandpa said.

“Yeah… He is…” I said.

“Hey, glad to see you’re back here!” Jisun unnie said as I walked into the coffee shop.

“Surprise!” Minjae sunbae shouted and bought out a cake.

“Welcome back!” They all said together.

“Aww guys! You guys are the best!” I said.

“Noona, it’s my first time meeting you. I’m Jason.” The new guy said.

“Ah.. Hi.. I’m Jaelin.” I said.

“Well… We’ll need to get back to work!” Sunbae said and we all went back to our positions.

My phone rang and I checked it, its L… I ignored it and turn off my phone.

“What’s wrong Jaelin? Why did you ignore that call?” Unnie asked.

“Oh... Nothing… Probably wrong number.” I lied.

“Hey… Is everything all right?” Sunbae asked.

“Everything is perfectly fine!” I said, smiling.

Later that night, L called me and I ignored most of his calls… I can’t face him… I don’t know what to tell him…

“Damn it Jaelin!” I hear the front door slammed.

“What?” Oh yeah… I forgot I have given him keys to my apartment.

“Why are you ignoring all my calls?” He asked.

“L… It’s over…” I said, my back facing him.

“What?”

“It’s over I said.”

“Why? What’s wrong? What have I done wrong?” He asked.

“Nothing… I…”

“Is it another guy?” He asked.

“N… Yes!” I lied.

“Jaelin… Look at me… Look at me!” He turned my body to face him.

I was crying… Tears are rolling down uncontrollable.

“Why? Why?” He asked. “Who is he?”

“It’s… It’s sunbae.” I said.

“What?”

“He saved me… And he had always wanted to be with me.” I said.

“Didn’t I love you enough?” He asked.

“You did… But you are an idol! You have fans! You have your own world! The both of us are from totally different background! That’s why I am not the person for you!” I said.

He looked at me with disbelieve… He kept quiet for a very long time and finally said…

“Fine… If you want it this way… Then have it your way!” He said and throws the keys onto the floor and ran out of my apartment. I looked at him going out and slammed the door… I went into my bedroom and crouch there… Crying for the whole night.

“Yeobosseyo?” Unnie ansered her phone.

“Unnie… I think I’m sick… I can’t go to work now.” I said.

“Are you alright? You sounded terrible!” Unnie said.

“I think I’ve caught the flu.” I lied.

“Ah… How careless of you… Take care of yourself okay? You just got out from the hospital.” She said.

“Nae… I will.” I said and hung up.

Sigh… My eyes are puffy from crying too much… My voice sounded like a frog…

“Jaelin! Open the door!” I heard someone said.

“Who is it?” I asked.

“Me… Well… Us!” Sunggyu oppa?

I grabbed my hoodie and glasses and wore it… I can’t let them see me like this.

“Oppa…” I opened the door and saw Sunggyu oppa and Sungjong standing there.

“Jaelin… What happened?” Sunggyu oppa asked.

“Noona…”

“Come in…” I said and closed the door behind them.

“You looked like you’ve cried the whole night too huh?” Sunggyu oppa asked.

“L hyung cried too… Just that he’s not admitting.” Sungjong said.

“He wanted to break up with you?” Sunggyu oppa asked.

I shake my head.

“Something else worse?” Sungjong asked.

I nodded.

“I wanted to break up with him…” I said.

“What?” The both of them asked.

“But why? You both were fine before.” Sunggyu oppa asked.

“I… I have my reasons.”

“Noona!’

“Please… Just let me be alone for a while.” I said.

“Jaelin… Sometimes, telling out your problem is far more better than keeping it.” Sunggyu oppa said.

I kept quiet.

“Sungjong ah… Let’s go… Jaelin need some time to herself… I believe she will tell us when she is ready.” Sunggyu oppa said.

“Oppa… Mianhae..” I said.

“Rest now… We’ll be back to check on you. Don’t do anything dumb okay?” He said.

“Okay… Bye.” I said and they left.

I cried harder after I closed the door… L, mianhae…
