Ga-in couldn’t even remember how she ended up sitting in a café with the object of her jealously staring back at her with wide-eyes.

I know you got these big eyes; you don’t have to brag it to me. Ga-in said irritated. She looked away so that the younger one couldn’t see her face. What am I doing? I shouldn’t be like this.

“OMO~ Unnie! We haven’t been formally introduced. My name is Chae Rin.” Chae Rin said while bowing her head low.

Ga-in looked at her with confusion. This girl is just too weird.

“Sorry unnie, if I sound too nervous. You see I’m a big fan of BEG.” Chae Rin said while nervously twirling her hair around her finger.

Ga-in looked at Chae Rin obviously trying too hard not to laugh. Chae Rin looked at her weirdly. “Did I say something wrong?” the latter one added.

“No, you didn’t say anything wrong. You’re Celeste right? I like your song and congrats on being number 1” Ga-in said.

“Omo~ thank you unnie. Kwon-oppa was my duet partner there.” She looked at Ga-in smiling. “I was also a fan of WGM by the way; you and oppa really look good together. It’s a bit unfortunate that both of you have to leave the show though. I wish you were together in real life. Im really a Kkapliner unnie.” She looked at Ga-in who was staring back at her, amusement in her eyes.

“Really?” Ga-in said, amused. That was a surprise. She was one of our fans?

“Really unnie…” Chae Rin said, smiling.

Maybe I should give this girl a chance.

“What are you thinking Ga-in ah?” Seulong said as he sat beside her. Both of them were at the set of their drama and Seulong saw his friend weirdly staring out into space. He was about to but when he saw her blank face he couldn’t help but feel worried.

“Am I that bad Ong?” Ga-in said which made her friend look at her questiongly.

“What the heck are you talking about Ga-in ah? This isn’t like you. And to answer your question, yes you are bad.” He said teasing her but she looked back at him, shocked.

“I didn’t realize I was that bad.” She said quietly but he still heard her.

“What are you talking about? It’s not like you went and stabbed someone at the back and left them bleeding to death right?” he said teasing her. “Right?” he said the second time.

“I guess it would be okay if I did that…” she said seriously. So serious that it made him shudder at the thought.

“Oh my God Son Ga-in! Don’t tell me you really did KILL someone? Should I turn you over to the police now? But you are a celebrity, what should we do?” he said in panic.

She looked at him with widened eyes. “Are you an idiot? As much as I want to kill you right now for thinking that way, I wouldn’t do that kind of thing. It’s like you aren’t even my friend to even think that. Sheesh.”

“What the hell was I supposed to think? You were talking in codes and mentioning about killing someone.” He said smirking at her.

“Are you really that simple-minded. Aish, you’re worse than Kwon when he is in that state.” She said not knowing that she was raising her voice. Everyone around looked at them weirdly. Some staff at the drama who already knew them just shook their head and thought, What a weird friendship they have.

“Well?” Seulong said, “Aren’t you going to tell me everything?”

Ga-in sighed. “I guess I was wrong in getting jealous with…” she said quietly.

Seulong smiled. Ah, at last she realizes. “Getting jealous with?”

“With Chae Rin okay?” she said, embarrassed. “I mean why would I get jealous with a person who is innocent and just doing her job? I mean why have I become this way? Me? Son Ga-in, the chic Ga-in being jealous? This isn’t my style and you know that.” She said and looked at her friend who was looking back at her in amusement.

“Translation, you were jealous of the fact that Kwon could look good singing a duet with another person. And it made you jealous because you didn’t imagine that they could have this chemistry other than that with you.” Seulong said, smirking.

“Was I really that bad?” she said looking at Seulong, worried. “I mean was I really that out of the line?”

“You want the truth? Yes, you were out of the line Ga-in ah. I mean come on, give them a break.” Ong said laughing. “I can’t believe you could be this way when you are in love”

I can’t believe it myself either. She thought. “I think I could give her a chance.”

“Yeah, you should.” He pointed out as he started to look into the script that he was holding to get ready for the next scene to be filmed.

“And besides, she’s kinda nice and being a BEG fan is a plus…” she said quietly as she began reading her script. Seulong looked at her with wide eyes and slapped her forehead.

“Yah! Why did you do that?” Ga-in said looking at her friend, irritated.

“Being a BEG fan is a plus????” Seulong said irritated and Ga-in just smirked.

As they continue to irritate one another the staff on set couldn’t help but smile at their relationship because they knew how close friends they are and only they could handle one another like that.

“I see you are happy today Rin-ah” Jinwoon said as he passed by her humming at some random song.

“Oh hello Jinwoon-shi, nice day isn’t it?” she said and he was confused. Normally she wouldn’t greet him in a friendly way but today is kind of weird.

“Have you seen Kwon-oppa?” she asked.

“He’s at the studio right now and…” Jinwoon said and she dashed off before he could finish. She is too weird today.

“Oppa~” Chae Rin burst in the door. But she hushed when she saw Kwon singing a part for 2AM’s new CF. Kwon-oppa is really charming. Gain-unnie is really lucky to have him. She thought. She sat on the sofa and waited for him to finish.

After his part of the song, Kwon went out of the studio and saw Chae-Rin looking at him, smiling. He smiled right back at her and sat down beside her. “You seem cheerful today.” He said noticing her smile.

“Nothing, I just want you to know that Ga-in unnie is really nice and I think you are lucky to have her.” Chae Rin said smiling.

With that statement, Kwon blushed Did something good happen today? He thought as he looked at Chae Rin who was smiling back at him but something in her eyes seem a bit off. He shrugged off that thought. “Rin-ah…”

“Are you hungry oppa? Well I am…” she said as she stood up and walked to the door. She looked back at him and he just stood up following her.

“What are you doing Ong?” Ga-in said once the shoot was over. She saw her friend leaning against her nanny van.

“Come on let’s go and visit Kwonnie, I heard he’s at the studio. I already told Sun-noona that we are visiting Kwonnie. Let’s just take my car.” Seulong said as he was about to go to his car. Ga-in glared at him but deep inside she was happy to see Kwon. He looked back at her and said, “Are you coming?”

Well, whatever was what she thought as she followed him to the car.

Where are they going? Sunye thought as she saw Chae Rin and Kwon climb into the latter’s car. She was about to snoop around some more when she saw Seulong and Ga-in going into the JYP building. This is going to be a huge scandal, unnie shouldn’t see Chae Rin and Kwon-ah together. She said to herself.

“Sunye? Where are you looking at?” Ga-in suddenly said from behind.

To her surprise, the former nearly had a heart attack. “Unnie! When did you get behind me?” She shouldn’t see them together.

“Yah, Sun! Where is Kwon-ah? We were going to surprise him.” Ong said with a smile.

“Uhmm--- I guess he is…” she stammered as she tried to block the view.

“You are too weird” he said looking at her puzzled.

“I guess he is not here.” Ga-in said as she saw Kwon and Chae Rin in the car, zooming away.

“UNNIE!!!” Sunye exclaimed as she tried to block the view while waving her hands frantically in the air. Ga-in opened her bag and looked for something. Is unnie, going to grab her pistol? OMO~ Kwon-ah you jerk! Sunye thought nervously.

Goodbye Kwon-ah, Sunye silently thought.

“Yeobo? I saw you just getting out of JYP….yeah~ me and Ong are here…..yep, Sunye is here too…We were about to eat with you but it seems we were too late…no..yeobo~ don’t turn back, I’m with Ong…” Ga-in pauses then smiles and said, “Really? It’s her birthday? Okay, tell us the name of the restaurant and will drop by…bye…see you soon…” and with that she hung up her phone.

Sunye looked at her with wide eyes. She was half-expecting tears and half-expecting a maniac outburst of pure anger. But she was calm, which was so weird, oh so weird.

“Uh~ Unnie?” Sunye began

Ong who was watching Ga-in’s calm attitude about this was so proud. I guess she was serious in giving the girl a chance. Good for her. He also saw the change of expressions in Sunye’s face, from anxiousness to being worried and then to puzzlement. And with that he laughed. Sunye saw him and raised one brow, she was about to question Ong but then Ga-in said,  “We better get going”

Tears were brought into Chae Rin’s eyes. What more could you wish for on your birthday? She had her Kwon-oppa, Ga-in unnie, Ong-oppa and Sunye-unnie. This was a merry day for her. She could at least forget what happened between her and her cousin. What the heck is the matter with you Chae Rin? It’s your special day…

“Hey! Drink up Rin-ah!” Ga-in said holding the glass before her.

“Yah, Son Ga-in….don‘t drink too much, we all know you can’t hold your liquor” Kwon said worried.

Ga-in smirked at him and said, “Don’t such an old fart Kwon, let’s celebrate.” She drank her wine in one gulp and looked at him “See? I still have my sanity…” All of them looked at her in disbelief as Ong laughed.

“You are one heck of a drinker Ga-in ah….” he said still laughing. “I guess living with the BEG noonas make you like that” With that remark, Chae Rin looked at her wide-eyed.

Ga-in cupped her hands on the birthday girl’s ears and said “What are you teaching her? Don’t believe him…”

Kwon was happy that Ga-in and Chae Rin were now getting to the point of being good friends. He loved the idea of the people around him being in harmony. In the sidelines, Sunye who was watching it all still stares at the birthday girl in disbelief, I still have some doubts on this girl’s true intentions.

Ong looked at Sunye amused and tapped her hard. “Yah, why the long face? Let’s celebrate and lighten up…” The former glared at the 2AM member but he just shrugged it.

“Let’s celebrate!” Ga-in said holding her glass up high.

Omo~ unnie, was all Sunye could think about.

“Kwon-ah, I love you so much…” *hiccup* “Kwon-ah…” Ga-in said as she was hugging the 2AM leader who was beet red at the moment.

“Ugh, yeobo~ I better take you home” he said trying to get her off him.

“Yah~” she said giving him her most lovely eyesmile. Kwon turned away and thought I shouldn’t give in, she’s under the influence; but maybe just a peek. He looked over and saw Ga-in smiling at him that he almost melted.

“Yah, stop being so lovey dovey” Seulong said, a little tipsy. “You know that she can’t hold her liquor…”

“Are you drunk hyung?” Kwon asked Seulong.

“No I’m not…” he said as he leaned back. “Ugh, the head”

Kwon looked at Sunye who was raising her brow at Seulong. “Sun, can you please take hyung and Chae Rin home? I’ll take care of Ga-in”

“Kwon-ah…” Ga-in said as she leaned against Kwon.

“Are you sure Kwon-ah?” Sunye said as she did sideways glance over at Chae Rin.

“Yeah, call me if something goes wrong alright?” Kwon said as he started to carry the drunken Ga-in. He looked back at Chae Rin and smiled. “Happy Birthday once again and keep on smiling Rin ah.”

Chae Rin smiled and said, “Thanks oppa, tell unnie when she wakes up; ‘thanks for coming’” Sunye looked at her and shook her head.

Kwon carried Ga-in while the three of them, started on their way out too.

“I’m perfectly capable of driving Sunye, so give me the keys.” Seulong said.

“Yah, Im Seulong. You shouldxn’t drive in that state, I still want to live.” Sunye said as Chae Rin chuckled. Sunye looked at her and sighed “Please do me a favor and open the back door please? Let’s push him in.”

After so many struggles on drunken Seulong, Sunye finally started the car with Chae Rin in the passenger seat. She looked at the rearview mirror to check on Seulong, who was sound asleep, and did a side-ways glance at Chae Rin.

“It’s nice that you’ve been best friends with Kwon-oppa for quite a long time now.” Chae Rin said.

“Yeah, I guess.” She said blankly continued, “You seem quite close to Kwon”

“No, I guess we just have a friendly sunbae-hoobae relationship, and besides he’s nice.” Chae Rin said.

“So you’re fond of him.” Sunye said as she stole a glance at her.

Chae Rin had a faint blush and looked away but Sunye caught it. “Well, he was so nice to me and he helped me a lot. And besides I really like him with Ga-in unnie, they belong to each other. I’m quite an Adam couple fan”

“Okay.” Sunye said blankly as she stared at the road, ending the conversation. I still have this nagging feeling, she thought, or maybe I’m just too protective? Well, whatever.

“Ugh. Hangover!” Ga-in said as she slowly opened her eyes and massaged her temples. Where the heck am I? She thought.

“Morning yeobo~” Kwon said, holding a glass of hot tea with honey and some aspirin.

Ga-in looked at the voice and screamed, she threw a pillow at him and said, “Yah! Put some shirt on!”

Kwon looked at his body and blushed, he quickly got his shirt. “Sorry forgot.”

“Don’t you mean…Did we?” Ga-in said stammering as Kwon went a bit redder. “Omo~ NO!!!!”

Then suddenly someone tapped her head “Don’t think too much Ga-in ah! He brought you here in my home.” Minho said raising his brow at her.

“Oppa…”

“Didn’t I warn you? You have to get your act together. You cannot hold your liquor.” Minho grinned and continued “It was nice that Kwon had his head together or else both of you..”

Kwon sat beside Ga-in giving her the tea and aspirin. “Yea~ yeobo, considering you were too clingy last night. If I didn’t have the willpower…”

Ga-in nearly choked at her drink and looked at Kwon with widened eyes.

“You were too cute in that state. It was somehow nice and kinda creepy at the same time. I can’t believe you had that much aegyo.” Kwon said smiling, remembering.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about…” the chic Ga-in said. Damn, what did I do?

“It was cute and don’t you ever show anyone that, clear?” Kwon said with authority that Ga-in flinched. “You were too cute saying I love you and smiling at me that way” he said dreamily.

Ga-in remembered and thought, Crap why did I end up drunk? I swore I wouldn’t end up drunk in front of him. How embarrassing. She buried herself behind her hands.

Kwon and Minho looked at her, “You remember!”

After so much time on hiatus. Mainly because of work, and a little bit of procrastination. Okay fine, mainly because of procrastination, I am finally back on track and guys…yea~ im finally back. Yey me~ thanks for still being there~ *bows and runs off to the next chapter*
