Luhan crossed his arms and tapped his foot impatiently. "Well, aren't you gonna fix it?" he stared at her fumingly  while constantly glancing at his now collapsed bed.

Yoona only gave him a straight-faced albeit the fact that it was her doing of the bed.

As Luhan received Yoona's answer, he was taken aback by it and it only fed more to his anger. "You seem singularly free of guilt," he responded with a cold tone.

She only shrugged as she tried her best not to show her uneasiness while unbeknownst to her, her responses only kept feeding Luhan's anger.

With Luhan's patience's reaching its limit, he massaged his temples to slightly relieve him from the stress of his anger.

"You- you... You-," he could not hold it any longer.

"You fiendish witch! You bastard...-ess" he implied as he didn't know what the term for bastard to women.

The room fell into a deep silence for a few moments until  Yoona broke into laughter.

"Bastard-ess? What is THAT supposed to mean? Your new language?" She joked as she laughed so hard that it felt like her stomach was about to burst.

Luhan could not help but blush at it. "H-He-Hey!! Th-That's not funny," he said hesitantly as his voice trailed off with each passing word, reducing itself only to mumbles.

"Yeah. It's lame." Yoona answered clearly, breaking the current mood in the room.

Luhan could not help but just stay silent from it. He was speechless to what she just said. "Is this the way you treat your family and friends or are you just biased?” Luhan mumbled.

Luhan’s eyes were glittered with innocence, head hung low out of embarrassment and his lip nibbling had caught Yoona by surprise. Suddenly guilt rushed through her, and it was all because of the sudden vulnerable Luhan who was standing in front of her.  Soon after, Yoona too was nibbling her lower lip.

She uncurled her palm and handed Luhan the screw.

Luhan looked at her bewildered, “I’m sorry if I had been- no, I apologize for my childish behavior. I know they were not welcoming, I guess Yuri was right. I have a lot of things in my plate right now, it was stressing and with you coming into the picture and all, it just made it worst.” Yoona explained.

Luhan’s eyes soften. “I know I am not your ideal roommate but since we have to deal with it, I just we just have handle it like adults. I assume that living with a lumpish girl like me is just lifetime sentence to prison.” Yoona continued. She scratched her head and sheepishly smiled.

However, Luhan genially smiled, “No ‘lumpish’ girl would know how to unscrew a bed to make it collapse like that,” he pointed to the still collapse bed.

It wasn’t that bad actually the bed was just tilted like how the part of the titanic ship was uneven to the other half of the ship.

They both giggled. “But, don’t think that you are getting away with this. You have to fix my bed while I go watch TV or something. That, however, is acceptable in the ‘Luhan Time’ list.” Luhan stated with a serious look on his face.

Sleep. That was something Luhan valued the most.

“Get to work.” He patted Yoona’s back and ushered her to the bed. He tossed the screw back to her, which she caught, before Luhan made his way out of his room with his hands intertwined behind his head.

*Some things never change.*

Yoona leaned on the wall while she and Luhan had their staring contest.

Both exchanged glances with their straight face on. But then suddenly Yoona felt like she couldn’t stand it anymore. Her eyes stung. She needed to blink but she could not, would not and certainly did not want to lose.

Just when Yoona thought she was about to lose, Luhan’s right eye twitched.

He grunted and buried his head into the sofa cushion which he was holding even before the little game started.

“Second round! I demand a rematch!” Luhan shouted.

“No, we agreed to play once. You were the one who had suggested that.” Yoona smirked in victory.

Luhan’s shoulder slumped and his lips pouted, “But that was when I thought that I would win.” He whined.

“No taking back what you said and absolutely no backing out!” Yoona commanded.

Once again, Luhan buried his face into the cushion, “WHY?!” he yelled.

“Luhan, that won’t help you, y’know.” Yoona voiced. She let out a giggle after that. Luhan was so adorable at times.

“Fine, I’ll buy it later, maybe tomorrow. Okay?” Luhan finally agreed.

Yoona nodded, “Good. I’ll make dinner for us now, does Omurice sounds good to you?” she asked Luhan as she made her way to the kitchen.

“Yes!” Luhan said out loud. Luhan was about to lie down on the couch but something stopped him.

*What if she’s trying to poison me, I better go with her.*

“Um, Yoona-sshi?” Luhan popped his head to the kitchen as he stood by the entrance awkwardly.

Yoona looked at him oddly, “what’s up with the formality, you can call me Yoona, Yoong or Yoon if you want as long as you would stop calling me a witch. I thought we agree to be more mature in this.” Yoona said while concentrating on dicing the carrots in front of her.

“Uh, okay. Yoona-ah, I was just wondering if you wanted any… help?” Luhan blurted. Luhan was as shocked as she was when he offered himself to help. His initial plan was to stand there in the kitchen while Yoona did her stuff.

Yoona was speechless; did Luhan just offer himself to help? She really thought that he wouldn’t even lift a finger for her, even though they didn’t even live together for a long time, Yoona was pretty much observant towards Luhan, and what she had learnt was that Luhan could be a jerk, adorable, nice, irritating at times. And another thing was that; that boy was one lazy baby-faced. Example; That morning, he didn’t want to help her with the ‘cleaning spree’.

“Uh, sure I guess. You can cut these sausages.” she showed him a plate of sausages.

Luhan did as he was told. While he was cutting his eyes were practically glued to chef Yoona who was spreading the oil all over the cooking pan.

After they finished, Luhan took a carton of orange juice and pour it into two tall glasses. He settled them down on the coffee table. He made sure he set them down above the coasters; he didn’t want Yoona to freak out after their agreement to make peace few hours. He knew Yoona would make a big deal out it; Luhan got the idea of Yoona’s nature toward tidiness.

Yoona left the kitchen with two plates of Omurice, while Luhan rushed back to get them two spoons.

While they enjoy their meal, they were watching ‘running man’ together.

“Omo! Dong Bang Shin Ki!” Yoona exclaimed.

In the show, Haha and Jaesuk were arguing like two children fighting over an action figure. Their funny quarrel cracked Yoona and Luhan up. They swore that they laughed so hard that their stomach ached so badly, but who could help laughing when they were so hilarious.

And the Monday couple and whiney giraffe didn’t help. They laughed even more and at one point, they were facing each other their laughed harder, “you look funny!” Luhan uttered in between his laughter.

“You laughed like an alligator!” Yoona claimed while holding her stomach.

“So do you!” Luhan fought back, also, holding his stomach. It was a good thing that they had already finished their dinner before their laughing marathon.
