Luhan’s POV

Focus Luhan, focus. Main goal for today; make Yoona fall for you. Okay, rules; number 1; don’t be nervous, confident is today’s best friend. Number 2; play cool, clumsy pills need to go far away from me and never come back. Number 3; make Yoona smile, a slight frown on her face cannot appear and taunt her day. Number 4; err, what’s number four? Aha! Don’t fail mission!

“Luhan?” Yoona’s soft voice echo to my ears which snapped me from my thoughts. I blinked, why was she staring at me like that?

“You were spacing out. Are you okay?” She asked me.

What do I answer? Oh no, what to do?!

“I’m fine, just…” just what? C’mon Luhan think!

“Just..?” Yoona waited for me, “Just… wondering why… the weather is so cold?”

Face palmed, Xi Luhan, what are you thinking?!

“Cold? It’s cool but it’s not that cold? Are you feeling ill?” she reached for my forehead but I stopped her hand, “I meant cool, yea, sorry, cool. Cold. Cool. Cold. Most people have problem to know which one is which, y’know?” I ended with an obvious, clear and undeniably noticeable nervous chuckle.

There goes rule number 1.

“Okay, it’s a bit breezy maybe you should’ve worn something that could keep your body warm.” Yoona advised.

If only you knew how nervous I am. I can’t bear to hear you reject me. I need to know hundred percent that you are into me. Not 25, not 50, not 75. 99 percent is also not acceptable.

“I’m okay, Yoon. Let’s go.” I grabbed her hand and led the way to the nearest supermarket. I sneaked a peek at her, and she had her head hung low with her cheeks red.

YES! Skin ship always does its tricks!

We finally arrived at the supermarket, with our hands still linked.

After sliding a coin onto the slot, I pushed the shopping cart inside, with Yoona holding my phone, leading the way.

“Umm, dairy section is…”She looked up to see the signs but I nodded to our left, “Right next to us.” I finished her sentence.

She scratched her head in embarrassment, and let out a small giggle, “Right, how could I missed that.” She said.

Cute

She took a carton of milk and put it inside the shopping cart, and moved forward slowly. She kept scrolling down the list, not that there loads of things to buy, but something made her read and mumbling the list over and over again. She looked so concentrated; her brows furrowed and her fingers, she used for counting. I followed her slow pace; I wonder when she was going to realize that I was mimicking her.

I gently pushed the cart so it would bump to her. She stumbled a little but quickly straightened out, her brow wrinkled even more, this time in annoyance and turned to face me. “Luhan, I know you did that.”

“I’m not denying anything.” I responded with a sly smirk, “Why are you walking so slowly? Get a move on lady!” I scolded jokingly.

Yoona shook her head but smiled. She seemed to play along with me. Knowing her, she would do so.

She kept her snail like pace and probably to avenge my little bit to her a while earlier.

I bumped her again, “Yoona, I know what you’re trying to do.” I challenged.

But she just kept quiet and stared out, humming to the soft music of the radio. “Do you know this song?” She changed the subject, but kept that sneaky smile on her face.

You are so getting it Im Yoona.

She stopped.

Good

“I want biscuits.” She said simply while going further down the aisle to the section where stacks of biscuits were placed at. “Done?” I sneaked behind her. She jumped a little and pressed her hand upon her chest. “Don’t scare me like that. And no I don’t which one to- Whoa!” I cut her sentence and picked her up and setting her down in the cart.

“Stay.” I ordered her. “Luhan! What are you doing?”She panicked but I patted her head playfully, “Oh Yoon, this way, we won’t have to deal with your slow pace.” I said, pushing the cart.

“Wait- get me some of that.” Yoona reached over to the side. I chuckled and slide the cart further away. “Luhan, I want that.” She whined. I took two boxes of biscuits and give them to her, “Happy?”

She nodded.

“Where to next?” I asked her as I pushed the cart forward but quickly pulled back teasingly. She threw me a short glare which at the end turned into a playful grin as she leaned her back, hugging the boxes of biscuits and the carton of milk. “Go left, slave!” She commanded with her arm jokingly pointed to the left.

“Right it is!” I laughed and turned to right, “ooh, look! They have a dozen choices of ramen!” I said.

“Yah! I said left.” Yoona giggled.

“Hey, I’m in charge of the cart. It’s not that easy pushing you, y’know?” I fought back calmly.

I turned my back to her and grabbed two packets on the top shelf, ignoring Yoona’s light kicking, “Luhan, grab another one.” She told me.

We ended up leaving that section with four packets, why? Because she changed her mind and gave an excuse that three packets weren’t enough, especially when Sehun, Kai and Taemin were our regular guests. The first place that they would go to was the kitchen. But I bet that she would eat them by the time we get home.

After a buying most of our list, Yoona felt crowded, “Help me out, Lu.” Yoona stretched her arms for me. “Aw, baby Yoona wants to go out.” I cooed, she nodded then pouted.

“Okay, come here.” I reached out my hand to hers, “One, two, and up.” I weakly pulled her.

“You weakling!” Yoona teased.

“You’re heavy.” I kidded, laughing. “Okay one more try.” I started to count but again, I purposely failed. “Luhan! It’s crowded in here!” She complained.

“But my arms tired from pushing the HEAVY cart.” I answered, dropping my shoulders.

“Fine then, we’ll switch, I’ll push and you get inside.” Yoona suggested but I shook my head, “Oh, c’mon, Lu. Help me or I’ll scream.” She threatened.

“You wouldn’t?” I tested with my eyes squinted, getting closer to her.

She opened to scream but I closed with my hand and swung her arm over my shoulder and finally carried her off the cart. Setting her on the floor, with her arm still around my shoulder, I patted her head and grinned innocently, “Who’s the weakling again?”

Yoona just giggled and shoved me a little too hard that I knocked over the once neatly stacked canned baked beans.

The sound of cans falling to the floor had alerted the other shoppers there, heads turned to our direction, eyes bored at the clumsy figure and the lady who had her hands closing her gapping mouth, shocked. Yoona and I.

We totally stood out from the crowd, well, me mostly, but Yoona was close.

Suddenly a plump man with a noticeable bold spot came by fuming with ashes coming out of his nose, breathing heavily and angrily, “Hey! You two knocked down my beans!” He yelled.
