Yoona woke up, again, to the sound of Luhan screaming.

Yoona shot up from her bed and rushed to the Luhan’s room, “Lu, are you okay?”Yoona panicked.

Yoona raised her eyebrow after taking in the scene. Luhan was on the bed; covering his face, hiding his pain. Kai and Sehun were hiding behind Taemin who was shaking his head in annoyance.

“Err, what happened?” Yoona asked slowly as she took small steps to Luhan. “These two idiots were fighting on who gets to re-wrap hyung’s bandage and somehow Kai accidentally wrapped it too hard mainly because he wasn’t focusing on hyung’s foot but more to his bickering with Sehun. And now hyung is in pain and these two are scared of hyung.”Taemin explained feeling more annoyed after he said it aloud.

“You two are always causing trouble, huh? What are you trouble magnets?!”Luhan hissed.

They were all shocked because Luhan was the type of person of well-tempered. Oh, they really did it this time.

“You better run. Both of you.”Luhan said coldly. That made Kai and Sehun ran out in fear that his hyung might kick them with his good foot. *I wonder how long it would take for them to realized that Luhan was too much in pain to even stand in this rate?* Yoona thought.

“Taeminnie, get you an icepack from the fridge?” Yoona asked her dongsaeng. “Sure thing.”

Yoona took a glance at the now pouting Luhan, “does it still hurt, Lu?” Yoona was in her worried mode again and as soon as Luhan realized that he quickly shook his head. “Don’t lie to me.”Yoona walked over and stoop to his ankle’s level. She poked it and Luhan reacted, “It does.”Yoona frowned.

“I’m sorry.” Luhan hung his head low. “Hey, why are you apologizing?”Yoona half smiled.

Taemin came back with the icepack Yoona asked for; he handed it to her and excused himself out of the room. Yoona carefully re-wrap the bandage and gently pressed the icepack onto Luhan’s ankle. “Thanks, Yoon. Again.”

“What did tell you? Anything for you, Lu.”

Luhan smiled and Yoona flashed an equal smile.

Sehun and Kai who were about to march into Luhan’s room and apologize like real men, but seeing their hyung smile to Yoona sincerely made them snorted, “Oh, sure. Now he’s smiling. He was pretty pissed just now.” Kai complained.

Sehun shrugged, “Of course he’s smiling. Do you even know how precious Yoona noona is to him? I bet they would be married in 3 years time.”

“Yea, in order for that to happen, Luhan hyung needs to confess first. I don’t think he’ll do it though.” Kai said rather calmly, as if he was absolutely positive to what he had said.

Sehun, however, was against that. “I don’t think so, hyung. I believed in Luhan hyung. He will totally stick with this one.”

Sehun knew Luhan like the back of his hand. Their families were family-friends and they would occasionally visit but they had gotten busier and busier but that didn’t stop Luhan and Sehun to contact each other through phone, email, and letters. They would come up with loads of tactics just for them to keep in touch.

When Luhan set his mind into something, he would give his all. And Sehun was very confident that Luhan’s feelings for Yoona were certainly not a onetime thing.

“Wanna bet on it?” Kai smirked while offering his hand to Sehun

Sehun knew he had all chances in his hand so he shook Kai hand, “The loser has to wear a pink tutu for the whole day.”

With that, Kai was onboard.

TWO WEEKS LATER

“Okay, Yul. Thanks for calling.” Yoona hung up her phone. “Yuri called?” Luhan asked, even though he obviously knew the answer to that.

“Yea, she said there’s gonna be a storm tonight and she doesn’t want me deliver today. But there is one client who lived just a couple blocks away, I’ll be very quick-” Yoona hastened to the door.

“Im Yoona, don’t you dare open that door.” Luhan demanded in his iciest tone. He held her shoulders and made her sit on the couch with him, “Relax will ya. When was the last time you take your time off?” Luhan questioned.

Yoona opened but closed it as soon as she realized that she didn’t know the answer to that question. She eyed the floor like it held the answer. “See, this is why you need to loosen up. Please, just spend time with me at home. I don’t trust you outside this apartment.”

Yoona nodded, “fine, what do we do?”

“Sehun lent me his WII. We can play tennis?” Luhan suggested. Yoona quickly agreed she never played WII before. “But bear this in mind, I always win.” Luhan smugly declared. Yoona rolled her eyed jokingly and smack his face with the couch cushion, “Just set the game up already.”

“PLAYER 1 WINS!”  

“Hah! I won again! Finally!” Yoona cried as she collapsed dramatically onto the pile of soft cushions behind her while breathing heavily.

Luhan swiped his sweaty forehead, “Okay fine. Round three?” Luhan challenged.

They had been playing for almost two hours. “Oh yes!” She suddenly sprang back up and held her controller firmly, “Bring it, Xi Luhan!” she giggled.

Luhan was satisfied, if only Yoona knew that all this time, he was losing on purpose just to give Yoona a good time. “Don’t get too confident, Im Yoona.”

“Oh please, I have a strategy in mind.” Yoona shot back.

Luhan started the game. Player 2, Luhan served. And Yoona hit it back hard. The virtual crowds were following the green ball going back and forth, over the two courts repeatedly.

“Y’know, losing is an option.” Yoona said while hitting the virtual tennis ball.

“Yea, and you may choose it if you want.” Luhan answered back with a playful tone.

Yoona just chuckled, “That offer opens for you, Lu.”

This was her chance of winning. Just when Luhan was gonna hit the ball back to Yoona’s virtual court, Yoona bumped her hip to his which made Luhan missed his shot.

“PLAYER 1 WINS!”

“YAY! I WON, AGAIN!” Yoona parade all around the living room while swinging her hands in the air.

“Im Yoona! Was that your great strategy you oh so proud of?” Luhan was dumbfounded. He didn’t expect her to do that.

“Yup!” Yoona responded proudly as she sat down onto the leather couch, obviously tired from her small parade.

“That was cheating! You can’t bump your opponent’s hip!” Luhan cried.

“Was that in the rulebook?” Yoona tested. “Err, I’m not sure. Is that even possible? When a person goes to his opponent’s court and bumped hips with his opponent, won’t he miss his shot too?”Luhan wondered.

“Since it’s not clarified; I won!” Yoona did a victory sign and posed.

Luhan towered over her as he stood in front of her expressionlessly that it scared Yoona a little bit, “So you like to trick me, don’t you?” his voice matched his look, expressionless.

“Lu, it was a jo-” Yoona didn’t get to finish her sentence when Luhan suddenly had a playful smirk on his face.

Oh no.

Luhan attacked her with tickles on her side and stomach, “Are you gonna apologize now, Yoon?”

Yoona shook her head, “No way, loser.” She gasped as her cheeks slowly became red.

DING DONG.

Luhan got off of Yoona and walked to the door, “Consider yourself, saved by the bell.” He joked.

When Luhan opened the door, he was greeted by an aged man, not more than 55 he supposed, “How can I help you?”Luhan asked him.

Yoona came to see who was at the door. She was shocked, “Appa?”
