“Yoona. Yoongie, Yoonnie… Yoon?” Luhan mumbled, trying to come up with a new nickname for Yoona, a nickname so special that no one could ever think of. That was what he aimed for, but one problem; he was terrible at it.

Luhan sighed, sinking deeper into his seat, Yoona who was playing with her phone, heard him sigh which made her turned to him. The Luhan beside her was so adorable. His shoulders were slumped; brows furrowed together, lips pouting and fingers tapping to some random beat. Yoona slid the icon on her phone and tapped on ‘camera’, she silently shifted in her seat, trying to find the right angle and snapped the photo, the flash and ‘clicked’ of the camera alarmed Luhan, who was, at first, totally oblivious to Yoona’s attempt to snap a picture of him, but soon figured it out after a moment.

“Did you just take a picture of me?” Luhan asked her.

Yoona nodded and showed him the picture, “You look so cute, like a clueless puppy,”

Luhan face palmed, “Clueless puppy? Seriously? Delete it, I look so weird,” Luhan tried to reach for the phone but Yoona tucked into her back pocket, “I wanna keep it, who knows what I’ll do to with it, it could be very useful in the future,” Yoona wiggled her brows teasingly, earning a pout from the male.

“What were you thinking of anyway? You kept on mumbling something just now,” Yoona asked.

“Uh, I was… trying… to come… up with a new nickname for you…” Luhan said slowly and almost silently, hoping that Yoona wouldn’t actually hear him.

“New nickname for me? Why? You always call me ‘Yoon’, and I like it.” Yoona voiced out.

Luhan sighed, again, this time sitting up straight and turned to her, “But I want to be special. I am your boyfriend; don’t they usually have some kind of special nicknames for their girlfriends?” Luhan explained.

Yoona held his hand. She knew what he was doing, she smiled, couldn’t really explain the reason why her heart beat like she was in a race after Luhan’s sentence. She pecked his cheeks lightly, “You are special, Lu.”

“No matter what you call me, it’s special because it’s from you.” Yoona rested her head onto his shoulder. Her soft hair tickled Luhan’s cheeks, but he didn’t mind at all, she said that he was special and that was how he saw Yoona as, special.

His special girl, so amazing that she was the only one who had the magic to transform him into something that neither he nor did his friends would ever have the slightest idea that this would happen. But it did, and he liked it.

Luhan was glad that Yoona had said that, it really made him feel different than all the other guys around her. He felt like he outranked them all, because he was the one who had her heart, trust and love.

He couldn’t ask for more.

As their train was crossing Han River, to reach the other side, the sun was already gone. The lights in the train lit brightly, as the couple locked their gaze to the outside view, a breath-taking view of Han River at night time. Bright lights of buildings lit up the night, creating a reflection in the dark water. Painting the water with mixture of orange, blue and purple lights give the water the dazzling effect to the water crystals. The water glittered with sparkly precious crystals, wishing the couple a good night.

She tapped Luhan’s shoulder and pointed to the window, where she leaned even closer and admire the beautiful view of Seoul city.

“Wow, I never really notice how pretty the view was before,” Yoona exclaimed in awe.

Luhan rested his head onto her shoulder and tilted his head.

“Yea,” Luhan whispered, but his gaze was locked to Yoona, examine her face closely; Her delicate cheek, how a few loose strains if her soft golden brown hair would fall to her eyes, brushing her long eyelashes. She never failed to make him fall for her. To Luhan, she wasn’t just a pretty face, but she was also beautiful in the inside, “Very pretty.”

Luhan sat up straight and Yoona turned to him, looked at him in the eye and smiled, “Thank you, I had a great time. I got the chance to see my umma, go back to my old neighbor and best of all; I spent the day with you. I can’t thank you enough.” Yoona whispered to his lips. Her warm breath hit Luhan lips, but he didn’t feel the slightest of nervousness. Mainly because Yoona was the only the only exception to him.

“You’re welcome, Yoon. I’ll do anything for you, you know that, right?” Luhan asked back, inching closer, till they were an inch apart.

Yoona mumbled as yes as her eyes slowly closed and Luhan drew nearer. Yoona leaned closer, totally mesmerized by his words, his palm on her cheeks. His lips on hers, brushing so softly, so gently. Her arms felt heavy as she griped onto his shirt collar, as she kissed him back with equal amount of tenderness.

 They broke from each other, chest lifted and fell with ragged breaths, Luhan whispered her name with such need, when Yoona opened her eyes, and she could see that he looked a lot calmer. A smile appeared upon their lips that were connected just a few moments ago. Smiling with their eyes, they didn’t need words to say, ‘I love you,’

The twinkling lights outside couldn’t be compared to the twinkle of Luhan’s eyes, as Yoona looked up to him.

Luhan pulled her into his embrace, kissing the crown of her head and said, “I promise you that this wouldn’t be the only day that I will make you happy, because I can see us together for a long time. If you let me,”

“Of course, I’ll be stupid if I didn’t.” Yoona answered burying her head to Luhan’s neck and breathe in his scent. Feeling the warmth of his body against hers. She felt right, like she belonged there. No one could tell her ‘no’ because she knew that Luhan was the right choice for her and he was the dream man she fantasized in high school. The perfect man she wouldn’t mind spending the rest of her life with.
