“I’m pretty sure that you will enjoy living here. I assure you to have a pleasant stay,” the landlady ran her wrinkled hand down Luhan’s arm.

“It’s not every day we have such a handsome young man here.” cooed the landlady.  Now her finger toyed with his shoulder blade.

Luhan jerked softly, moved a couple steps aside and smiled awkwardly.

Luhan looked around unsure.

He knew with his limited budget, he doesn’t have another choice. But that doesn’t mean that he should stay in this… ‘pleasant’ place.

“I have other places to see and it will be a great lost for me to miss it out, so-” Luhan walked towards the door. With every step, he had his hands held out, as an attempt to create a barrier from the creepy ahjuma.

“I don’t usually do this to other people but if you want you can pay half the actual price. Noona knows what college does to you.” The landlady pleaded.

*Noona? You’re old enough to be my mom. Oh God, Luhan, don’t insult your mother like that. You should be ashamed of yourself.*

She reached out for his hand but Luhan suddenly sped off the room and out of the building.

“Young man come back!!! You forgot your cap!!! Please come back!!!”  The lady yelled from the room’s window.

“Keep it!” Luhan hollered while running aimlessly. Far away from that woman was his plan.

He clutched his hands onto his knees as he panted heavily.

Crazy lady.

What was he supposed to do now? He needed a place to stay in three days time.

He couldn’t stay at Sehun and Kai’s place all the time. He would be a burden. He thought

“Oh Lord, hear my prays, help me find a place to stay.” he clamped his hands together and closed his eyes.

Luhan entered his friends’ apartment low-spiritedly.

“Oh, Annyeong hyung!” Sehun greeted him with his usual cheeky smile.

 “Luhan hyung, you’re back!” Kai popped his head out of his room to see his hyung.

Sehun sensed that his hyung was in a glum mood.

Who wouldn’t?

The grey aura around him and the thick black cloud above his head were very obvious.

Luhan dragged his legs to the couch and plopped down with a deep sigh.

“Hard time finding a place, hyung?” sehun asked as he paused to his game, earning a grunt from… Taemin.

 When did he get there?

Luhan nodded. “Hyung, why don’t I help you? My cousin said something about wanting a roommate, I’m pretty sure that will help you, hyung?” Taemin suggested.

Luhan suddenly brighten up. He sprang towards Taemin. “You’ll help me? Thank you so much, Lee Taemin. I like you already!”

“Hyung, I thought I was your favorite! You are so not welcome here anymore!” Sehun pouted.

“Heh, Sehunnie, y’know that you are my favorite dongsaeng~~”

Kai suddenly came out the room with his eyebrows knit together, “what about me?!”

"I'll give my cousin a call later, hyung. Don't worry, my cousin is pretty nice and a welcoming person." Taemin changed the subject.

"Thank you so much, Lee Taemin. I'm so grateful." Luhan's mood suddenly changed from sulky to cheery.

He was smiling out from ear to ear. 

At least, he wouldn't have to keep up with Sehun and Kai's childish bickering in the middle of the night and early in the morning. He wondered how do they managed to stay as friends at the end of the day without murdering each other. 

*Hmmm... mystery. But it's not going to be my problem anymore* thought Luhan.
