After Yoona had finished with her classes, she got a text message from Taeyeon.

From: Taengoo umma

Yoong! 911!!!

To: Cholding Im

*911?? Omo, that’s the emergency code!* Yoona dialed Taeyeon’s number and pressed her phone to her ear.

“YOONG!! OMO! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!” Taeyeon shrieked through the phone. Yoona switched her phone to the other ear because Taeyeon’s ‘greeting’ made her left ear deaf.

“Unnie, waeyo?” Yoona asked her unnie as her eyes shifted from side to side to see any signs of the bus coming.

“Tao called in sick and Lay had to go back to Changsha due to family issues. Kris can’t model by himself! Where am I gonna get another male model?! Yoong! If we delay everything, our whole plan will also be shifted forward. And then we have to re-schedule everything again, and that could take a long time and-” Taeyeon babbled.

 “Unnie, I have a plan. Trust me in this, okay?” Yoona told her. She could hear Taeyeon exhaled through the phone.

“Okay, Yoon. Come over in an hour, yea? We need to finish this ASAP.” Taeyeon answered after a brief second. Being the head of a successful online shopping site, it was normal for her to be bossy.

Finally the bus arrived and Yoona got into the bus. Yoona sighed. How was she supposed to convince Luhan to model? But she didn’t like the fact Taeyeon was stressed out because of this. *Maybe this is how the Yuri and Seohyun feel about me. I’m sorry for making you two worry.*

Once she reached home, she sprinted to her door. She fished for her keys when suddenly she heard a giggle from behind. When she turned around to see where it came from, the apartment door across hers was shut rather quickly, almost like the person was hiding from her. Did Yoona just found her very own stalker?

Scary.

She finally got her key, inserted it into the lock and turned it.

CLICK.

She went inside, speedily entered and shut the door. She peeked through the peephole. There were two young men; one was tall and the other one was shorter than his friend but Yoona was confident that she was shorter than both of them. They were walking out of their apartment.

She pressed her ear onto the door to hear their conversation.

“Yeol, look what you did? Why did you shut the door so loudly? Now, she’s probably as scared as heck!” said the shorter one.

“Coming from the one who giggled!” The taller one highlighted the last word with his deep voice.

“I can’t help it; I was so close to her!” the shorter one spazzed.

“Um, hello. I was too, Byun Baekhyun.” The taller one pointed out.

“I know you were. Don’t ruin my fun, Park Chanyeol!” the shorter one gave his friend a dirty look.

Luhan came out of his room to go to the kitchen for a drink. But when he saw Yoona by the door, it made him curious. “Yoon?” he called out.

Yoona turned around and pressed her finger to her lips. She pointed to the door and made a creepy face which fed Luhan’s curiosity even more. “What?” he mouthed.

Yoona signaled him to come to the door, and he did.

She pointed to the peephole and whispered, “They were being creepy when I got here.”

Luhan looked through the peephole only to see two men; the taller one had weird curly hair while the shorter one was clearly excited over something, judging by his hopping and very cheery look on his face.

Luhan turned his gaze back to Yoona, who was feeling a little terrified.

So, he brought her to her kitchen and pulled out a jug of freshly squeezed orange. He poured one for Yoona and handed her glass. “What exactly did they do to you, Yoon?” Luhan asked as he poured some juice onto another glass for himself.

“Well, they were sort of stalking me just now. And it just creep the life out of me. And they live just across us!”

Luhan loved it whenever Yoona mentioned ‘us’ indicating Yoona and himself.

Luhan.

Yoona.

Yoona.

Luhan.

 He just felt a spark in his heart. But soon after, he shook it off.

“And I have to go somewhere after this! What am I gonna do?” Yoona looked down as if the floor was very interesting.

“Is it important?” Luhan asked as he leaned on the kitchen counter next to her and took a sip of his juice. “What is? The meeting?” Yoona asked back.

Luhan nodded, while finishing his drink in one go. Yoona drank her drink, “Very.”

Seeing Yoona like that had really got him bad. “I’ll go with you.”

Yoona looked up to him with her eyes widen, “Really?”

Luhan smiled, “Consider it as my apology to you after being a jerk to you, Yoon.”

The way her name rolled on Luhan’s tongue had got Yoona’s heart beat crazily.

“Okay, then we’ll leave in a few. I have to put my books away and grab something before we go.” Yoona headed to her room. Once she was out of sight, Luhan put their glasses in the sink and went to his room to grab his phone and wallet. He changed into a dark blue long sleeved shirt, a pair of simple blue jeans and lastly, a pair of his favorite white sneakers. Of course he didn’t wear his shoes inside the house, Yoona would flip out.

He knocked on Yoona’s door, “Yoon, are you ready?” Luhan asked by the door.

Yoona opened the door widely and nodded to Luhan, “Yes, let’s go.”

“Luhan, there’s something I’ve been wanting to ask you.” Yoona spoke up as they strolled side by side to the Studio. “Ask away.” Luhan readied himself for her question.

“Okay, actually, we’re going to my unnie’s studio where I work part-time. And-”

“You worked?” Luhan interrupted. Yoona nodded. “-anyways, unfortunately the two male models are busy today, and we kinda need a replacement just for today.” Yoona trailed off.

“What’s your question?” Luhan knew where this was going but he needed Yoona’s confirmation.

“Can you be the replacement model?”

Luhan’s eyes widen after Yoona had asked him. What was he supposed to do? He never worked before. What if he failed and let Yoona down? He didn’t want that to happen. But he would also be a great disappointment to Yoona if he rejected her.

Sigh

*Here goes nothing.*

“Sure.” Luhan responded.

Yoona was stunned, did Luhan just say ‘Yes’?

“Really? Omo, thank you so much, Luhan!” she held onto his right arm and hugged it tightly. Unaware of her actions Yoona just kept on grinning to Luhan, while he was just there continuing to walk with Yoona. Holding. His. Arm.

He equally shot back a smile and casually put his hands in his pocket.

He couldn’t be happier.
