It passed a week since your boyfriend broke up with you. The reason behind the end of your relationship was because he was jealous of your best friend, Baekhyun.

You were still sad, inconsolable, heartbroken, and weak, you didn’t have eaten much during the whole week and you felt the need to distance yourself from everybody. You thought it was the best thing to do.

*Peee peee peee peee* You looked at your alarm clock and you couldn’t believe Monday was already starting. You turned off the alarm clock and got up from your comfortable bed.  As you always do, you dressed up, ate breakfast, brushed your teeth, fixed your hair and looked at the mirror one last time. You noticed your big dark circles, you haven’t been sleeping well lately. You grabbed your backpack and went to school.

The bell rang and the students started to fill the hallways in order to get to their classes. You entered your classroom and sat at the back wishing that no one would sit next to you.

“Hanna!” Someone called you, you turned your head to see who it was and your friend Kim Jinhyun was making signals for you to sit with her. You shook your head rejecting her offer. Suddenly, someone sat next to you, without looking at the person you politely said, “I’m sorry. Can you look for another sit? I wanted to be alone, please.”, “Too bad, there are no free sits.”, the person answered.

Your eyes searched for free sits and found some. Finally you turned your head to the side and saw who was sitting next to you. “Baekhyun please, I want to be alone, if you don’t mind.”, told him. He put his backpack above the desk and started to take his books as if pretending that he hadn’t heard you. You could see he wouldn’t move from the sit so you didn’t insist.

More than an hour had passed and you and Baekhyun hadn’t talked to each other, until when Baekhyun decided to break the silence, “Can you tell me why you don’t talk to me?”, he asked as he looked to the board, in which the teacher was writing some exercises. You looked at him as if it wasn’t obvious “I wanted to have some time to think and to be alone.”, you explained. He looked worried and sad because of that. “But you know you can always talk to me, you can talk about your problems with me. It looks like you don’t know that. …. I miss the old you, the girl that used to smile and play around, the happy you.”, he spoke as sincerely as he could.

You were touched by his words but still, you wanted him to understand how hard it was to handle the separation of you and your ex-boyfriend, “Look you don’t know how hard it has been for me to handle this, I loved him, I still do!”, your eyes started to get wet. “I may not know how hard it has been, but I just can’t understand why you stopped talking to me.”, Baekhyun looked helpless.

You hadn’t said the reason why your boyfriend broke up with you to Baekhyun before, so you thought that now was the right time. “Baekhyun, my boyfriend broke up with me because of you. That’s why I haven’t been talking to you.” Baekhyun was surprised. He stood there without knowing what to say. The bell rang again signaling the end of the lesson. You packed your things and got out of the classroom leaving Baekhyun behind.
