“Oh come on, you have to go for her!” Sungyeol unbelievably screamed at his best friend.

Myungsoo sighed.  If it wasn’t for his so called mother, he wouldn’t even have to hesitate. Of course Myungsoo has his suspicion for the car accident to be his mother’s doings.

Sungyeol put his hands on his hips. “Kim Myungsoo,” he started out but froze when ‘L’ glared at him. He cleared his throat. “I won’t ever talk to you again unless you at least try.”

Myungsoo sighed and thought deeply of what he should do. Suddenly, an idea came up. “Wait Sungyeol, I thought of something. I’ll try if this works.” He abruptly got up from Sungyeol’s couch and got ready to leave the house.

“Wait, what?!” Sungyeol shouted at him at the sudden action of his. “Wait!! I forgot to give you something!” He hollered, but Myungsoo had already gone out the door.

Winter in Korea was freezing, and Myungsoo fast walked to the nearest main road and stopped a taxi.

As soon as the car pulled to the enormous building, he got off the car and walked to te front desk. The workers immediately recognized the heir who supposedly renounced himself, but let him through. The elevator led him to the top floor, and opened the double doors.

The room, however, was empty. He walked towards the mahagony desk, and the view of downtown Seoul behind it. He looked down, and the people looked like little ants.

“What a surprise for you to be here,” the woman’s voice called from the front of the room. Myungsoo turned around and saw his “mother” before him.

“I thought I might pay a visit,” he said coldly.

The woman curtly nodded. "I see." 

Myungsoo was filled with rage because she acted like she didn't know a thing. 

"Stop acting like you don't have to do anything with this. It's disgusting," Myungsoo spat. 

Mrs. Kim walked towards the wall filled with all sorts of awards and admired them. "With what?" She asked.

How dare she. Myungsoo had his fists balled. "Oh, I think you know better than me," he replied gritting his teeth. 

"The girl?" She finally mentioned. "Ah. Park Haewon. Well, it didn't turn out so well as I expected." 

Myungsoo slammed his hand on the tempered glass window. 

"Just what the hell do you want from me?!" He shouted frustratingly. 

"Well," CEO Kim said as she walked towards her desk. "Of course, I want you to come back to the company." 

Myungsoo scoffed in disbelief. "Like that would ever happen." 

"Oh yes it can," she sipped some coffe. "If you come back, I'll never bother Park Haewon or her family, or her friends." 

Myungsoo looked right into his mother's eyes. "How can I believe you?" 

'Trust me, I will keep my word as long as you come back to this company," she said.
