It was one day left till the Fall Prom. 

It was 6:00pm when Haewon was just finishing her homework. She admired her essay taht she had just finished writing and tucked it in her folder, where she put it in her baackpack. 

Unlike Haewon, Hyomin was out with her friend Victora to go dress shoping, or so she said. Her parents went out on a dinner date and wasn't going to come back til late at night. 

The door bell rang, and Haewon ran downstairs. 

"Who is it?" Haewon asked, always being cautious. Her cousin was chief police in their district, and she got lectured all the time from him. 

"Delivery," a man's voice shouted. It sounded very familiar, but she couldn't quite put her finger on who it was. 

Hesitantly, she opened the door. 

Right in front of her was a huge box, enough for herself to be put inside. 

The box moved aside, revealing no other than Kim Myungsoo. 

"Your dress is fixed, and it should fit you now," he said awkwardly. 

Haewon smiled softly and helped him in with the box. 

"Thanks a lot, Myungsoo sunbae. That was really expensive," she said with joy. 

"You're very much welcome," Myungsoo beamed himself that made her insides warm up. 

There was a long moment of silence staring and smiling at each other, when Haewon decided to break it. 

"Oh, I'll get you a drink. Come in," Haewon opened the door widely and turned to go to the kitchen when Myungsoo's phone rang. 

"Hello?" 

Myungsoo's face turned from a smile to an expressionless face that Haewon could not read. 

"Now?" 

Myungsoo's voice faltered. 

"Okay. I'll meet you there in 15." 

Myungsoo turned back his attention towards Haewon. "Sorry Haewon, emergency. I have to go." 

Nonetheless, Haewon smiled. "It's okay, it must be something important. Thanks again and be safe," she said. 

Myungsoo's sad faced softened and he left her house.
