"What would you like, sir?" The waiter had asked L as the two students settled down. 

"Just water," he replied.

"And you, miss?" 

"Milk tea please," Hyomin replied. The waiter took their orders, and went back to the kitchen. 

"So, what brings you here?" Hyomin asked. 

"Just Christmas shopping. You?" 

"Me too, I wanted to finish my shopping early." 

There was a long pause after, and the waiter came back with the ordered drinks. 

Hyomin took a long sip, and sighed. "How are you? We don't talk a lot, or see each other in the hallways." 

Myungsoo shook his head, "no, we don't." 

"You know...about what I said in the dance a few weeks ago, don't take it to heart." 

"Really?" Myungsoo asked. 

Hyomin hesitated, but nodded. 

"Can we still stay as...friends?" 

Before Hyomin could answer, her ringtone went off and she abruptly picked up the phone. 

"Hello?" 

Myungsoo saw her expression change to a state of shock, and wondered what the phone call was about. 

"Okay, I'll be on my way there now." Hyomin said and quickly ended the call. She then suddenly got up and packed for her things. 

"Wait, where are you going? Did something happen?" Myungsoo asked, curiously. 

Without stopping what she was doing and while putting on her coat on, she said, "Haewon woke up. I got to go to the hospital right now." 

"What?" Hyomin grabbed her bag and was about to leave when he called out. 

"Wait! Can I..go with you?" Hyomin stopped in her tracks and hesitated. 

"I guess it wouldn't hurt. She fell back to sleep anyways. Just don't blame me if Kris is there too." 

With an expression of content, he quickly followed her out of the cafe and into the streets of Seoul. He couldn't feel anything but happiness.
