As Yunho approached the house, hundreds of hunters gathered around him pulling out their weapons and activating their dragon scales, filling the night in all shades of colors. However, the floating black mist around him were making everyone cautious as no one made any sudden movements. Due to the murderous energy from him, every steps he took forward, everyone will unconscious take a step back.

"Where is jaejoong?" he asked

No one wanted to answer nor do they dare to as they launched forward and attacked him. He dodges all the attacks with speed and strength fighting them and killing them without any hesitation. His eyes glows a dark shade of gold surprising everyone. They were told that water dragon has eyes that glows in a bright beautiful gold so why is it that this one's eyes is glowing in such an eerie and dark shade? Within minutes, the beach side is dyed in red as blood came together and started to run into the ocean. Other hunters were started to get scare as they hesitate to go near him. Some had fought against him before and knew that this time it was different. It was as if they are fighting a completely different person, a more deadly blood thirsty type of person. The intense fight continued as multiple hunters dashed toward Yunho, attempting to attack him at all corner. But before they could even come close enough to touch him, a powerful force blew them away. Others took their place to attack but even they were no match for him who was clearly showing no mercy. His hand begin to glow as water started to emerge and soon it turns into a sword. He gripped onto the sword tightly as he frowns at everyone around him.

“Where is he?!” he shouted

As much as he asked, no one answered him, they were specifically told not to reveal the where about of the bride otherwise they themselves will face prosecution. They continued to attack him to try and subdue him but no matter how many hunters tried, it was useless. Countless bodies laid throughout the beach side as many were badly injured. Yunho has yet to suffer a scratch as he continued to move forward toward the house in front of him. More dragon hunters ran forward conjuring the power of their dragon scale and attacked. Lightning flashed down trying to strike him, he dodges it. Sharp icicles were thrown at him but he blew it all away, veins grew from the ground and wraps around him but he broke free. Hot flaming fire burst toward him but he shielded himself and dissolved the fire, turning it into smokes. No matter what forms of attack is thrown at him, he manages to overcome them all. With the sword in his hand, He stabbed and sliced the enemies leaving a trail of blood behind him. At the end, the hundreds of hunters has been decreased greatly as everyone paused around him. No one was daring enough to move forward anymore as they wondered rather they could capture this dragon.

"Steps aside" came a voice

The crowd parted as MinSeok appears, walking through the open pathway and toward Yunho. They stood facing each other as neither spoke a word. Out of all the people that Yunho wanted to kill, MinSeok was at the top of his list. To see his target right before him made the desire to kill burns even more. He gripped onto the sword tightly as his eyes glows

"Where are you hiding Jaejoong?" he asked

MinSeok smiled, showing no fear "Don't worry...You will meet him soon enough..."

This answer wasn't what Yunho wanted to hear as he became even more angry and impatient. With a swing of his hand, a huge gust of wind blew causing everyone to nearly fall over. Even the large waves that was about to touch land were forced back.

"I'll ask you again...where is he?!!" he shouted sounding almost like a dragon roar

MinSeok could see that Yunho isn't like himself, a more obsessive personality has taken over and this made him even more excited that he could barely contain it inside. To see this terrifying rage, MinSeok wasn’t scared, he continues to wear his smile and even dare to step forward, closer to Yunho.

“I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time…in fact…I was starting to think that maybe this kind of encounter will never happen in this life time…” said MinSeok “but…here we are…me facing the great blue dragon…last of its kind…heir to the dragon throne…”

Upon seeing him approach even more, Yunho raised the sword as the tip came to a stop by MinSeok’s neck. The other hunters made movement to attack to save MinSeok but he gestured for them to remain still.

“Take me to jaejoong or this sword will pierce through that neck of yours”

“As I have stated, you will meet him soon enough…just have a bit of patient”

“Don’t you dare ask me to be patient!! You took my bride…hide him away…the fact that you are still alive right now is a given!” Yunho snapped

“My...My…your temper gets even worst in this state” smile MinSeok “I fear that if you were to meet Jaejoong the way you are now…you might just terrify the poor thing…”

Yunho’s eyes twitched as his patient grew even thinner. He move the sword forward and MinSeok could feel the tip pieced through the outer skin as a bit of blood started to appear and slide down his neck.

“Master MinSeok!” the hunters shouted upon seeing blood

MinSeok once again gestured for them not to make any movement “I understand your anger and your concern…No harm will come to Jaejoong as long as you do as we say…there is something we want and only you can do it…once it has been accomplished…The bride will be released to you unharmed however, if you refuses…then…I can’t guarantee his safety”

Yunho glared at MinSeok before smirking “humans has become quite daring…even staring at death…you still have the courage to threaten me…”

MinSeok was calm and only smiled

“You are highly mistaken if you think this threat will make me cave in and obey. I can just kill everyone here right no…including you”

“yes…you can…but…keep in mind that Jaejoong isn’t with me…he is with someone else…if you killed me…the minute my blood spill…so will his…and at this point you don’t even know where he is…the only reason we have not killed him…have not taken his heart is because we needed you…otherwise, he will probably be dead by now considering how long it took you to get here…but the question here is…will you be able to save him in time if you were to kill me?”

Yunho’s face turns extremely ugly “What is it that you want from me?”

Upon this question, MinSeok’s smile grew even wider because this means that Yunho have taken his threat seriously.

“The gate that connects the present and the past…I want you to open it”

Yunho’s eyes widen in complete shock. He never expected that this is the request MinSeok will ask. Growing up, his father has often told him of such gateway, how it was created and how it was sealed away only because it could not be erased. His father also reminded him that this gateway must never be open fearing that the time and space will be thrown out of balance and destruction will take place. There was a moment of silence before Yunho burst into a fit of laughter

“You have no idea what you are requesting…” he spoke

“Yes I do…I understand clearly of what I want…All you have to do is open the gate and the bride will be returned to you” said MinSeok

Yunho was quiet for a moment before speaking “how did you even know about this gate?”

“I have my resources…” said MinSeok “it took a lot of digging and required a lot of money but eventually we did find some hidden important information…it wasn’t exactly spill out words by words but when I put all the information together…the conclusion I came to was that the water dragons has a special ability…an ability that isn’t like any others….the more research I did regarding this special ability the more clear it became that the water dragons were tasked with protecting something very important…and that is time and space…protecting the gateway of past and present. Just like how today is the present…and yesterday is the past…how these two days are so close together only separated by hours that they are basically right next to each other…what separates them is a thin line…a line that can be separated to allow both time and space to merge as one…and the only way this line can be separated is through the power of the water dragon because this important line is buried within the endless body of water making it impossible to find…until now”

Yunho glared at him wanting to kill him right away. He never expected that this human will learn of such secrets that was hidden from the human race. Only a few dragons knew of this gateway and they all perished long ago. For this person wanting to open the gate only meant that he wishes for the world’s destruction. Rather it was the anger inside him or the darkness running through his vines…the very thought of human destruction somehow awaken a feeling of excitement. He slowly lowered his sword as MinSeok smile and placed his hand on his neck where blood is still flowing down. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and begin to wipe the blood and kept it at the wound to prevent more blood from coming out.

“If I were to open this gate…You will release Jaejoong?” Yunho asked to confirm

“Yes...”

Yunho paused for a bit before speaking “alright…”

MinSeok’s smile grew wide “You have made a wise choice…” he turn to the hunters “Get the boat ready, we will be depar—“

“MASTER MINSEOK!”

Upon his name, MinSeok turn around and only saw the flash of a long blade as he felt a terrible pain across his chest. Blood squirted out as the expression on MinSeok’s face were in complete shock. He falls backward as the hunters catches him. He sat on the ground groaning in agonizing pain as more blood begin to flow out of his wound. It took him a few minutes to fully register what happen. He thought for sure Yunho had understood the situation…he thought for sure this was his win…he thought that using jaejoong…Yunho will have no choice but to obey…so why…why did it turn out this way?! He slowly lifts his gaze to meet Yunho who looks down at him with darkness and anger in his eyes.

“You…you…I…thought we have a deal…did…did you not want your bride to be return to you?”

Yunho Swing his sword to the side to remove the blood from the blade “it seems you have forgotten who I am…I am a dragon born of royal…a dragon born to ascend the throne…if I were to follow you…to do as you say…that will be an embarrassment for my father…for my ancestors…” he spoke as he steps forward “If I were to bow down to a mere human like you…my pride and honor will be ruin… dragon had never give in to the human before…and I am not about to be the first”

“Your bride…don’t you care about your bride?! Don’t you care that he will be kill?!”

Yunho’s expression changed “If he were to die at the mere loss of your blood then millions will follow after you…given that his heart can grant immortality…I highly thought you will risk his life nor will you really release him to me…such great importance that stands beyond gold and diamond…why would you want to let it go?”

MinSeok who wasn’t afraid before was now terrify. He thought he had the upper hand but never would he think that this will happen. As Yunho got closer, MinSeok begin to panic as the expression on his face quickly changed for the worst. He quickly turn to the hunters behind him and shouted to attack. The hunters obey as they rushed forward. A few hunters remain at Minseok’s side, helping him to stand up as he groan from the pain on his chest. His clothes were quickly dyed in crimson red as agonizing pain traveled throughout his body

“Quickly!…give it to me!” he commanded

One of the hunters approached him and handed over an item wrapped in a cloth. He struggled to unwrap it but he refuses any help. He held the item tightly by his chest and when Yunho came forward and tried kill him, he quickly flashed the pure white dragon scale as it shines a rainbow light. The shine of the scale hit Yunho's eyes as he back away and closed them. He felt his body pulsated as his own body resonated with the white dragon scale. All sorts of terrible screaming voices rings through his ear as he felt his vision started to blur and everything turn dark.

Jaejoong was still sound asleep when he felt his body gently shaken as a voice continues to call out his name softly. The voice was warm and full of caring as he opens his eyes and saw Yunho leaning over him with a worried look on his face. His hand caressed his head tenderly being careful not to hurt him

“Yunho…” he mumbled the name

The person seem to have paused a bit before speaking “Jaejoong…it’s me…”

After the vision became clear, the image of Yunho faded away and turn into Changmin instead, looking down at him. This took him by surprise as he quickly sat up bumping his head against Changmin as they both groaned in pain. Jaejoong then felt the spot where he was hit throbs painfully. He groaned in discomfort, touching the back of his neck knowing very well that it has become sore. It wasn’t until he felt his body move and felt the room rocking back and forth softly did he realize something isn’t right. He had not drink any alcohol since the last time he drink so why is it that his surrounding is moving in such a way.

“w-where am I?” he asked

“We are in a ship…we have been sailing into the ocean for the last 30 or so minutes...”

The rocking of the ship…the mere mention of being on water far away from land made jaejoong feel sick. He made sounds as if he is going to Puke and changmin quickly pointed to where the bathroom is. He quickly stood up and rushed over to the bathroom and threw up into the toilet. Changmin knew this will be the kind of reaction jaejoong will have as he had prepared some water and clean towel for him. Even some motion sickness medication has been prepared in advance. He approached jaejoong in the bathroom and gently pat his back with a worried look on his face

“Are you okay? Here…drink some water…”

Jaejoong took the bottle of water and drink it as changmin give him the towel to wipe his face. He then took out the medication and handed it to him

“Take this…it will help”

Jaejoong look at him strangely without a word wondering why changmin seems so prepare as if he had predicted this. He slowly nod his head and took the medication. After a few minutes, the feeling of his stomach doing endless cartwheel had finally subsided a bit. They both however, did not move from the bathroom as jaejoong sat on the floor next to the toilet and changmin sat on the side of the bathtub.

“You…” jaejoong spoke first “how...did you end up here?”

Changmin only let out a deep sigh and spoke in a sarcastic voice “Why wouldn’t I be here? I am the heir to this great dynasty of dragon hunter…whenever there is something big about to go down…I must be present…that seems to be a requirement for being the next leader of the shim bloodline…”

Jaejoong couldn’t help but smiled upon changmin’s sarcasm as he leans his back against the tub fully relaxed now that his stomach has calmed.

“Sorry…” Jaejoong apologized feeling like it might have been his fault for getting changmin dragged in this mess.

“Why are you apologizing? If anything I’m the one who should be apologizing…the master mind behind this is my grandfather and other members of my own family…treating you like this is wrong, to be honest…I’m not even sure what to say or how to apologize for this…what they are doing isn’t right…but I can’t even do anything about it…As long as my grandfather is still alive…no one will follow my command”

“That’s easy to fix…we can just fed him to the fishes” grin jaejoong

“Seeing how you can still joke around…you are probably okay …” smile changmin “But…I am curious though” he look at the white gown jaejoong is wearing “…why are you wearing that?”

Jaejoong grinned “what?…you don’t like it?”

“It’s too loose…not your size”

“ooohhh…you know my size?”

“Of course…why do you think all the clothes I bought you always fit perfectly? Just so you know I have a great ability to determine a person’s size by just looking at their body”

Jaejoong chuckled “You in the wrong profession then….should have been a manager of a retail store or a clothes designed instead of being an heir to a bunch of dragon hunters.”

“Sadly, I have the kind of parent who is very adamant that I become a leader of dragon hunters no matter what…wielding magical scales…fighting dragons with sharp deadly weapons…killing people…ripping out their heart… seems more pleasing to them then handling some harmless piece of cloth.”

“That ….at least you don’t have your grandfather’s taste in fashion…this was his pick”

“White is totally not your color”

“Right?! I said the exact same thing to him…”

They both look at each other before laughter filled the air. It felted like old times, to be able to be in each other’s company…joke around and laugh. Ever since the dragon appear and jaejoong is revealed to be a dragon bride…they both has been pulled apart, they were even put against one another putting their friendship in jeopardy. But as quickly as the laughter came, it faded away as silence once again filled the room.

“Jaejoong ah…” spoke changmin with a serious tone of voice “I won’t let him kill you…No matter what…I will protect you…even if it means I have stand up against my own grandfather”

Jaejoong turn to look at him and couldn’t help but feel guilty as his heart became heavy

***Flash back***

“My grandson is such a fool…I raised him to be smart and yet ever since he meet you…it was one mistakes after another…the first mistakes he made was meeting you…the second mistake was befriending you and the third mistake was him giving away his heart to a useless one sided love….out of all the people in the world…he just had to choose you…it’s quite miserable if you think about it…he deserve as much happiness as the others but he chose a path filled with great despair...even after knowing that you love belongs to the great blue dragon…he is still desperately hanging onto that love refusing to stand at my side doing everything he can to protect you…”

***End of flash back***

“Changmin ah…” jaejoong called his name “I am really sorry…”

“I already told you that there is nothing to apologize for…this is my family’s fault”

Jaejoong slightly shook his head “That is not what I am apologizing for…”

Changmin paused “Then…what are you apologizing for?”

“You have been good to me …and for that I am forever grateful…to know that you are always looking out for me makes me very lucky to have a good friend like you…but…”

Changmin felt his heart jump as his chest started to get tight and became nervous. He recalls the encounter with Boa and how she basically exposed his hidden feelings to jaejoong. The way this conversation is going, most likely this is that topic and jaejoong apologizing is most likely the answer to his hidden affection of love.

“Stop!” shouted changmin as he turn to face jaejoong “before you say anything else…let me speak first…” the expression on his face softens as the look in his eyes changed “Jaejoong…there is something I have been wanting to say to you for a long time…”

Jaejoong sat there on the cold ground staring at him, waiting for him to speak. Changmin took a deep breath to calm and prepare himself. He had never been so nervous in this entire life as his hand started to sweat. He kept breathing in and out a few times as jaejoong was starting to get impatient.

“Oi…if you have something to say…just say it already!”

“Just give me a minute okay!…this…this isn’t something easy to say…it takes some preparing you know”

Jaejoong smirked at him “what do you need to say that required preparation…you making it as if you are about to make a major confession…”

Upon the word ‘confession’ changmin froze as his cheek turn red. Upon seeing this expression, jaejoong also paused as the situation became awkward.

“You…”

Before jaejoong could say anything else, there was a knock upon the door interrupting them as changmin quickly stood up

“I-I-I...w-will…go get the door” he stuttered before exiting the bathroom

Jaejoong sat there on the ground speechless before lightly smacking his lips for saying something stupid. From the look of it, changmin was going to say something important and yet he just had to joke about it. While in the bathroom, he could hear a lot of noises and shouting. Curious as to what is going on, he stood up and exited the bathroom only to see a few people in the room arguing with changmin. One of the people happens to be ByungChul as he smiled at him upon seeing him

“Glad to see you awake and well…”

“I was okay until I saw your face…now I feel like I’m going to puke again” he grinned

Byungchul didn’t seem to mind his remarks and only smile “Come...follow me”

“He isn’t going anywhere!” shouted changmin as he stood in front of jaejoong to protect him

“It’s up to him if he wants to follow or not…”

“oohhh…so I have a choice? In that case…I’m very comfortable right here”

Byungchul’s smile grew even wider “are you sure?”

“Yes…”

“I see…that’s too bad…I was going to take you to go see your beloved blue dragon…but I guess I’ll just tell him that his bride would rather stay in a room with another man”

Upon the mention of Yunho, jaejoong’s eyes widen as he quickly steps forward pushing changmin aside

“Wait!”

“Did you change your mind?”

“Yunho…Yunho is really here on the ship? What did you do to him?”

“We haven’t kill him if that is what you are wondering…we need him alive after all”

Changmin noticed the look on jaejoong’s face he panicked and grab jaejoong’s arm “Don’t believe him! He is just lying!”

Jaejoong’s expression changed as he turn to changmin “rather he is lying or not I have to go see….if they really did capture Yunho, I need to make sure he is okay”

The worried and concern look on his face made changmin unable to say anything further as he let go of jaejoong’s arm.

With that being said, jaejoong steps forward “take me to him”

When Yunho opens his eyes again the scenery had changed. He was no longer on the beach side surrounded by bodies but is now on a boat that has sailed out to sea. He is in a room fully enchanted by magical seals to prevent him from escaping. He felt his head throbbing as his vision is still blurry. He tried to remember what happen but everything after seeing that scale was a blank.

“You finally woke up”

Yunho struggled to look straight ahead and sees MinSeok sitting on a chair. The expression on his face weren’t good as his face is pale and seems to be showing signs of pain. His right hand is placed over his chest where Yunho had slashed him earlier. Just seeing him made Yunho angry as he quickly stood up and dashed forward but it triggered one of the seal shocking him instantly. Over a thousand volt of electricity ran through his body as he let out a painful cry and stumbles back before falling to his knee gasping and panting.

“You see that line on the ground” spoke MinSeok

Yunho looked down and indeed there was a white line in the middle of the room scribbled with magical incantation.

“As long as you stay behind that white line…you will not get shock…this incantation is far more powerful than you think…even the seals placed upon the wall is to prevent you from using your abilities…it is especially made to keep dragon trapped”

Yunho glared at him as his face darkens with rage “You…what did you do to me?!”

MinSeok smiled “I really thought that you will do anything for the safety of your bride….I was a fool to think that the great blue dragon will surrender and willing to follow without any struggle…but clearly I was mistaken…” he spoke with a painful cough “…if it weren’t for this…I’ll probably be dead and this plan would have failed”

MinSeok took out the item wrapped in a cloth and show it to Yunho. Images of what it was flashed before his eyes. He started to think back to what Yoochun had told him before regarding a white dragon scale in the possession of these hunters. He figured that that scale in MinSeok’s hand is most likely the one Yoochun warn him about.

“This here…is the only remnant of the once powerful and feared white dragon…leader of all” said MinSeok “during one of the excavation that I help sponsor, the team dug this up. It was buried deep underground far up north. The minute I saw it, I knew what it was. It did took a lot of time to awaken the power that was sleeping inside this scale…but the kind of power it has…I don’t need to mention it because you are probably already know…correct?”

Yunho clenches his teeth and glare at MinSeok. The white dragon was the first of its kind…it was the strongest and the true king. Through its strength and power, it give birth to the dragon race. There has been countless stories about this all mighty dragon…how it rise and how it falls. There were also stories of how it has the ability to touch a dragon’s core, enter their mind and have controls. But with just a single dragon scale that has aged for so long, the power it possess shouldn’t be enough to control another dragon. However, it is still powerful enough to be able to touch a dragon’s core and get into their mind. Just as Yoochun had stated before, this scale possess a lot of resentful and dark energy. He wondered rather these were just a small fragment of the hatred the white dragon once held that eventually lead to his own destruction. If you think about the amount of negative energy this one scale holds, just imagining the dragon itself is terrifying.

“As long as I still have this in my possession…my life will surely be guarantee” MinSeok spoke

Yunho only looked at him strangely wondering what he meant by these words when suddenly a strong wave splashed against the ship making it rock pulling him out of his thoughts. At this point his mind has become clear as he looks around and toward the small window to see nothing but the ocean. There were other ships nearby also sailing alongside them.

“Where are you taking me?” Yunho asked

“I already made myself clear of what I want from you…”

Yunho glared “I will never do as you say nor will I help you accomplish your goal”

“I knew you will say that…so…”

A knock came upon the door as MinSeok smile “come in…”

The door opens as jaejoong enters the room with Byungchul behind him. The minute jaejoong saw Yunho standing there, it felted like the world has frozen as time stopped. The minute their eyes meet, his heart beat faster and faster as a feeling of joy and warmth filled his body. It has been an entire day that he has not seen the blue dragon and to see him again at this moment made him want to run to him and hugs him tightly.

“Jaejoong ah!”

Upon seeing each other, they move forward toward each other but just as they reach the white line, sparks ignited in front of them causing them to step back. Jaejoong noticed the line on the ground and the magical seals plastered on the wall as he turn to glare at MinSeok and ByungChul. He clenches his fist tightly

“Let him go!” jaejoong snapped as he steps forward however a few hunters including YongHwa suddenly appears blocking his advancement toward the other two “MinSeok! Byugnchul! You two have live too long...I’ll be the one to end you right now!”

Neither of them were scare as they remain calm. They ordered the hunters to grab jaejoong as they did. Jaejoong tried to fight them off but it was no use as they grab onto his arm and pushed him to the ground and on his knee holding his arms back.

“Jaejoong ah!” Yunho shouted as he turn to the enemy with his eyes glowing a very dark shade of gold. The blue color energy has become black as it appears around him. Dragon scales started to form on his arm as his teeth started to become sharper. His appearance were changing to become more dragon like. Jaejoong felt his chest burn and it started to ache, he looks down and sees the flower symbol glowing brightly as the energy in his body begin to get drain. He turn his attention to Yunho and knew he is drawing in the life from his body to take his dragon form. The more Yunho took on the dragon form, the more painful it became for jaejoong to endure. It was like being burn alive from the inside and having someone squeeze his heart tightly. This has never happen before when Yunho took his dragon form, it had make him feel weaker and it will hurt a bit the longer he stays in his dragon form but never like this.

“Yunho….YUNHO!” jaejoong shouted

Upon his voice, Yunho snaps back to his sense and look at jaejoong.

“Calm…calm down…I’m…I’m okay”

Seeing the painful expression on his face and seeing that the flower symbols has started to glow, Yunho realized what he had done. He quickly return back to his human form as the pain inside jaejoong begin to fade away. Witnessing this, MinSeok chuckled with amusement

“So this is the consequence of a dragon giving half his life to his bride…unable to take his mighty dragon form without killing his bride…now I see why it is a taboo…why dragons had never taken this risk…however, this proves to be in our favor”

Byungchul steps forward and spoke “since we aren’t able to convince you… maybe your bride would be able to”

Jaejoong looks up at Byungchul with disgust “You can shove it…no matter what you do…I will not have Yunho do something that will benefit either of you two creeps”

MinSeok only smiled “I think you misunderstood Jaejoong shhi…we don’t meant as you using words…but rather…we using a more effective method of convincing…using your body of course…”

Before Jaejoong could say anything, Byungchul had ordered YongHwa to take out a sharp blade and place it near his face surprising him. Upon seeing this, Yunho jerked forward and is once again shocked to step back.

“Don’t you dare touch him!” he shouted

“Will you…or will you not open the gate?” MinSeok asked

“I will never do it…”

MinSeok was still calm as ByungChul gestured for YongHwa to continue. The smile on Byungchul’s face grew wider as the cold blade pressed against Jaejoong’s cheek. The coldness of the blade made Jaejoong shivers as he mastered a grin

“If you have the balls…I dare you to do your worst…”

“Still so courageous…I really admire that about you…it’s as if nothing in this world can scare you…not even death” said Byungchul

YongHwa slightly turn the blade as the sharper edge touch jaejoong’s cheek. He move the blade a bit as the sharp edge slowly cut the smooth pale cheek as a bit of blood started to emerge. Jaejoong held back the painful moan that was going to escape his lips. Upon seeing the blood, Yunho’s rage grew even more

“MINSEOK!! BYUNGCHUL!!”

He shouted as a gust of frightening wind blew all over the room causing YongHwa to stop. The air in the room quickly became denser as it became heavier. There was an eerie and chilling coldness that filled the room as all eyes turn to Yunho. The glow in his eyes, the light that surrounded him…everything was frightful to see. Suddenly the ship begin to rock even more violently as waves splashed against the side. As powerful as the seal maybe, it wasn’t as strong as they thought it was in preventing Yunho from using his power. Seeing that this was his doing and that he was about to go crazy, Byungchul took the knife from Yonghwa and held it by jaejoong’s neck while the other hand grab the back of his head and pull on his hair to tilt his head up.

“If I were you, I’ll calm down otherwise…his blood will flow!”

Yunho refuses to listen but when he saw Byungchul edged the knife directly against the skin, he had no choice but to stop as everything begin to calm down including the waves.

“If you don’t open the gate…I can guarantee you that this bride of yours…will die by my hand right now and don’t think that I won’t do it…”

“Yunho don’t listen to him!” Jaejoong shouted “You can’t give in to these basters!”

Byungchul lost his cool as he punched jaejoong on the face before pulling him forward once more and place the knife back on his neck. The punch had caused the skin in jaejoong’s mouth to tear as blood dripped from the corner.

Yunho stood there and look at his bride and then at MinSeok “You do not understand the consequence of opening the gate…”

“Yes I do…I have study it…I have learn it…and I have come to accept it”

They both stare at each other for a moment before Yunho started to chuckle. It sounded chilling and frightful, like a mad man. Jaejoong sat there on the ground in complete disbelief of what he is seeing, this dragon no longer has the same warm and comfortable air around him but is filled with nothing but coldness.

“Yunho…don’t tell me you…” jaejoong’s thought was interrupted by Yunho’s voice

“You are underestimating the outcome of pulling the past into the present…but since you are so persistent, I will open it…” he said as his lip curved into a malice smile “I’ll open it just as you wish…I’ll stand by and see your world crumbles…see you get devoured by the danger of the past…watch as darkness and endless destruction fill every inch of this world…see every human plunge into death…while their blood form an ocean…dye the sky red…no one…and I mean no one will be spare…not even the scale of the white dragon will be able to save you nor will immortality keep you alive…since you want all living to be wiped out…I’ll gladly grant you your wish”

The way he speak was cold and darkening foretelling a future painted in red. The fact that he is smiling with so much excitement made Byungchul hesitant to move forward, fearing that his own safety might not be guarantee. He turn to look at MinSeok debating rather this plan will backfire…rather what they think will happen…will not happen. If the gate is open, can they really control what will come through? MinSeok on the other hand was calm and still wear a confident smile on his face as if what Yunho had just said did not bother him at all.

As the moon hangs high above the sky, it glows a bright and beautiful light. There was no land but only endless water surrounding them. The wind was calm and cool as stars filled the night sky. There were 6 large rocks that extends high into the air in front of them. To others, it may just seem like normal rocks, but to people who knows of dragons and magic, these 6 rocks serves a more supernatural purposes. The ships pull up toward the rocks and anchored it in the middle of two rocks not wanting to venture further. The quietness of the open water was calming but at the same time it gives the area a sense of eeriness. Standing in front of the Ship is Yunho as wind blew pass causing his clothes to flutter in the air. Standing a few feet behind him are MinSeok and the others. Jaejoong is held hostage by YongHwa as the knife is still pressed against his neck. Even Boa is present but she no longer could look at Yunho as her gaze is directed to the ground below.

“It is time…open it” said MinSeok

While down below, in the room Jaejoong was previously in, changmin is pacing back and forth with endless worries. It has been a while since jaejoong left and has not return only making him more anxious. Just then the door open as a few hunters, possible a group of 10 enters the room. The hunters approached changmin and quickly kneeled as 3 people remain standing who happens to be Junsu, Yoochun and Minjun

“We apologize for the delay…we have run into some trouble which has been taken care off now” one of the hunters kneeling spoke

“Is everything ready?” changmin asked

“Yes…” spoke MinJun

“The other ships?”

“They are under your control” spoke Junsu

“Majority of the hunters who follow your grandfather as well as Minseok and Byungchul has been replaced except for those that closely follow them everywhere” said Yoochun

“Good…it’s time to put this to an end...once and for all” said changmin as the dragon scale in his chest started to glow

**flash back to the letter Jaejoong wrote**

Your grandfather is awake but he is working with Minseok and Byungchul. They are planning to use me to lure Yunho to where I am. This place is hidden under a magical force field that will make it impossible for you to find. Knowing your grandfather, he will most likely come for you so before that happens, I need you to do something. Below is a diagram of where the 8 seals are located…have Yoochun and the others destroy them to get rid of the force field. When Yunho come to resuce me, during all the fighting...have the seals destroy. During this time, take the chance to have the hunters that are still loyal to you,  mix in with those that follows your grandfather. While they are distracted with me and Yunho, have your hunters slowly take out the other hunters and take their place reducing their means of support. This must be done in secret, make sure no mistakes are made, if they are alerted of the plan, we may fail to stop them. When the time is right…we will take them down when they are less expected. I am counting on you…you are the only person I can trust with this task.
