After putting on more appropriate clothing, MinSeok walked toward the living room where the special guest is waiting. Once he got there, it was not only Changmin but an unfamiliar hunter standing at his side. There was no sign of YongHwa anywhere who would usually follow changmin no matter where he goes. This sudden appearance made MinSeok uneasy but none the less he smiled and greeted the young master with respect.

“It’s an honor to have you come all the way here to visit me young master shim….”

Changmin turn to MinSeok and return with a smile “I heard people say that your mansion is very beautiful with a touch of tradition….I never expected that it is beyond what I could imagine….as someone who came from a lower branch…you have done quite well for yourself….even your taste in décor is praise worthy…”

MinSeok chuckled “thank you for the complement…however I doubt you came all the way here to just look at my house and my décor….what brings you here on such short notice?” he turn his gaze to the hunter at his side “And this is?”

“This is MinJun…a hunter that I have taken a liking to….he is very loyal and reliable….he will also be closely following me as a body guard…”

This surprise MinSeok as he asked “are you replacing YongHwa? I heard his skills are top notch…why would you replace him with someone else?”

“I think you got it wrong…I am not replacing him…YongHwa will still be my main guard…however I didn’t want him to be overworked….so I got Minjun to be with me while Yonghwa is away on other task…”

“I see…” said MinSeok as he look at Minjun suspiciously but from what he could see, MinJun doesn’t seem like anyone special. Even his looks is average and compare to YongHwa, he is more slender as if he hasn’t fully train his body in combat

“As for the reason why I am here it is to discuss with you about a position that I am planning to establish right at my side….as you can see…there has been a lot of…let’s just call them disagreement between different families as well as the hunters…Everyone seem to be organizing their own group rather it is to ally with me or stand against me….”

MinSeok could guess where this conversation is going as his lip curved into a smile. He walked pass changmin and Minju toward the tea set on the table as he pour a cup of tea for himself and his guests.

“I have heard rumors….but have been too busy with my own matters to see anything….”

“This is why I came to you…you are the only one who seem to not care about what is happening within the shim family….You have no interest in power or wealth….you only care for your own business and has yet to choose a side…”

“Let me guess…you came over here to recruit me…?”

Changmin smiled “You are a smart man MinSeok….I could use someone of your caliber to stand at my side and help reorganize the family….reorganize the power so we can all stand stronger as a whole without any ranking…without any discrimination…”

MinSeok couldn’t help but chuckled “Please forgive me young master if my words will come out as offensive but what do you think the Shim family is? What kind of history do we carried in our blood? What our mission is?”

“You don’t need to remind me…I know it very well…”

“Then why worried about such trivial matters….rather then turning family against one another…rather than focusing your attention on reorganizing the family…destroying the tradition….you should be focusing on hunting the dragon and capturing the bride….this family was built on the foundation of protecting the human race from dragons…obtaining immortality so human can rise above others…and this one in a life time opportunity appears before you, yet you rather worried about the family affair… if you ask me…it almost felt like you are stalling time….delaying everyone from their duty….protecting a certain someone….” He spoke as he drink from his cup of tea

Rather than upset, changmin was calm as he spoke “I guess to others…it will seem like that….”

“You aren’t denying it?”

“Nor am I going to confirm it…” said changmin

MinSeok found this young master to be quite interesting, even more so then before “Our family has been dragon hunters for many…many centuries….until dragons and dragon brides disappeared from the world….ever since then our family has changed from hunting dragons to businesses and other form of living….even without the reputation of dragon hunting…the shim family still came out as the top…our name is still well known throughout the world….You can say your grandfather has done a great job at keeping the peace and moving the family forward although everyone saw him as a crazy man who is too obsessed with fantasy….but that was his only weakness…other than that he is a strong and reliable leader whom everyone look up to. He kept the tradition alive…even in secret he still have people train as hunters…preparing for the future if there were to ever have a dragon appear….he always think ahead and is always well prepare for any kind of situation….to the rest of us…he is strong…full of courage…show no weakness or mercy….he is the type of person anyone will pledge their loyalty to and fear to disrespect and stand against…” MinSeok paused a bit before looking straight at Changmin “….But what he left in his place is a young child who only saw his own vision…only care for what he desires while disregarding the true value of the shim family…he left in his place a leader who destroyed the ranking system….punished family members and hunters….who would rather stir up trouble for his own family then to the dragon and his bride….a weak child who rely on a unknown powerful source to obtain what he wants and protect what he should commit to destroyed….a unreliable leader who will eventually be the down fall of this great establishment ”

Changmin didn’t say anything as he kept his expression normal while listening to MinSeok criticized him. Seeing that everything he had said did not anger changmin nor did it change anything, MinSeok only sigh and felted like nothing he said now or later will change the mind of this young master before him.

“I know the reason you are here….however I will have to decline the offer young master Shim….as honorable as I am to even be considered for that position…I have no interest in this so call disagreement between the families….I have enough of my own problem to deal with….and honestly…you aren’t the kind of leader I would want to pledge my loyalty to….”

Changmin only look at MinSeok a bit before he sigh in defeat “That’s too bad….I was really hoping you will accept the position and work together with me….we could have been a great team…”

“You already have so many trust worthy and loyal people at your side….I believe they would have made a better partner to you then me….”

Changmin drink from his tea and stood up as he walk toward the door along with MinJun. MinSeok also walked with them and once they reached the door he paused.

“I hope what I had said isn’t too offensive….if I had said anything that upset you…I apologize”

“Of course not…I respect people who could speak honestly rather then put up a fake show….” Smile changmin

“Then…please have a save trip home…”

“Thank you for having us…”

With that being said, changmin exited the house with MinJun as MinSeok watched them get into the black car and drove down the drive way before turning the corner into the street. He stood there for a few minutes contemplating what the young master is really after. However he felt like this matter wasn’t important compare to what had happen without his knowledge.

“Did she leave?” MinSeok asked as a hunter appear behind him

“Yes…”

“Good…”

Meanwhile in the car, Changmin undo the first button of his dress shirt to allow him some room to breathe. Just being in that house with his enemy, trying to act nice was the hardest thing he had to do. Even though he pretended to offer MinSeok a position, he was really hoping MinSeok would reject otherwise his enemy will really be right next to him every single day.

“Any news?”

“Yes…I received a text message…everything went as planned….” Said MinJun

“Good…it seems spending my time to converse with him didn’t go to waste….but from this point onward….it will only become more challenging….MinSeok is a smart and calculating type of person…we can’t make any mistakes….”

MinJun could only nodded in agreement as changmin turn his gaze toward the window gazing out into the city and the gloomy sky.

When jaejoong look into those dark eyes, his body froze as a cold chill ran up his spine. The minute Yunho felt him touched his shoulder he immediately became in rage and pushed jaejoong

“Don’t touch me!” he shouted

The push wasn’t gently but full of force as jaejoong stumbles backward before tripping over the large debris behind him and falls to the ground. He ends up banging his elbow onto the hard floor as he let out a painful cry. It wasn’t just his new injure that hurts him but the injuries he suffered from the fall also ache when he hit the floor. Upon hearing him groan in pain, Yunho seem to have snapped back to his usual self as the darkness in his eyes disappear and his expression changed to one of concern. He quickly rushed over to him full of worries

“Are you okay?!” he asked before reaching out to help jaejoong

“Am I okay? Do I look okay to you?! The one who isn’t okay is you…pushing me away with such force…..didn’t you see I’m already injured and don’t need more added…” glares Jaejoong as he feel his elbow throbbing painfully as well as feel the stings from the two open wounds on his body.

Yunho wasn’t exactly sure what happen, he remember falling and landing on the ground, waking up to his body shaking and the familiar pain surfacing. He remembers getting up and walking over to the wall to support his body as it tremble painfully. The next thing he knew, jaejoong is on the ground, groaning painfully. He didn’t even remember pushing him like how jaejoong had said he did. Even if he can’t remember, he knew it must have happen. It was exactly like how Yoochun had told him earlier about how he had tried to strangle jaejoong in the cavern. His bride didn’t want to tell him, but Yoochun felt that he should know in order to understand what is happening to him. He couldn’t help but blame himself for not having any self-control. As the day’s passes, he felt like he has less control of his own body. If he did try to strangle jaejoong and even now pushed him…who knows what he will do when this darkness fully has all control?

“Yunho…oi Yunho” jaejoong called out to him snapping him out of his thoughts

“Y-yes….”

Jaejoong only looks at him strangely but he was relief not to see that darkness in his eyes anymore “I asked you if you knew were we are?”

Yunho looks around and saw the well-made tunnel with engraving of different symbols and there were also murals along the wall. He was able to recognize some of the symbols and knew right away where they might be.

“I believe this tunnel was made by a dragon….in other words…this place was made by Soomin’s father…”

Upon hearing this, jaejoong was ecstatic “You mean we found it? We found her dad?”

Yunho Shook his head “Not yet….maybe this tunnel will lead us to the place he is located….”

“Then what are we waiting for….help me up” said jaejoong as he reached for Yunho to help him stand

Yunho also took jaejoong’s arm and help him to his feet as his bride let out a few painful groan. At this moment, Yunho noticed the deep red blood on the side of jaejoong’s head and his leg causing his expression to change

“You…are injured…”

“Did you not hear me telling you this earlier? Seriously…what is wrong with you?”

Yunho couldn’t answer without revealing the truth as he lower his gaze and remain quiet. Jaejoong was a bit irritated that Yunho is clearly hiding something, but he felt like that could wait until this matter has been resolved.

“Let’s move…waiting here won’t help us find him…”

“Wait…” said Yunho as he reached over to jaejoong “We need to take care of your wounds first…”

“I’m fine…”

“No you are not…we don’t know what lies here….the last thing we want is for your wounds to be infected…” said Yunho as he lead jaejoong toward one of the boulder and had him sit down. He bends down to take a better look at the wound on the leg as he reached out his hand and it started to glow. A bubble of water appears, glowing in a beautiful blue light as it touches the wound on his leg. Upon the coldness, jaejoong shivered but a few seconds later, the coldness turn into a warm and comfortable feeling. Within minutes, the wound on jaejoong’s leg was healed.

“Now let’s take care of the one on your head”

Jaejoong didn’t struggle or protest against it, he was more than willing to let Yunho get rid of the throbbing pain. The dragon before him leans down toward jaejoong’s face as he did what he did earlier with the wound on the leg. Jaejoong could feel the same coldness and then the warmth. Yunho was clearly focusing on the wound not noticing the intense gaze from his bride. Having their face this close, jaejoong couldn’t help but stare at Yunho’s concern face. Just seeing him worried about him made him feel joy and made his heart soft. He couldn’t explain it but being with Yunho was no longer annoying or hell, before he knew it, the situation has turn into a warm and fuzzy feeling. Having Yunho protect him, risking his own life to save him, worried over minor injuries and stand on his side has made him grateful.

“Damn it…why is he so god damn handsome!” curse jaejoong

“There...the wound has been healed….” Said Yunho as he reach out and wiped the remaining blood with the sleeve of his jacket

Jaejoong felt his heart thumped upon the soft touch of Yunho’s hand. He is once again reminded of what happen in his bedroom the other night as his face grew red as he quickly stood up startling Yunho.

“I-I’m fine now…let’s get going…” said jaejoong as he walked away before Yunho could say anything

“I wonder if Soomin is okay” said jaejoong

“She is half a dragon….she won’t die so easily…”

“But she is still a child…she is probably very afraid right now…”

“I think she has more courage than you think…she may be a child but she is smart….”

They walked down the tunnel being on their guard not knowing what will happen or what else is lurking here. As they reach the end of one tunnel, it leads to another tunnel. At some point, they even reached a 4 way tunnels, unsure of which one to take. They stood there in the middle, contemplating rather one or two of these tunnels will lead to a sudden death. Jaejoong was starting to think that this place has been made into a maze with multiple tunnels connecting, multiple dead ends and even ones that will have danger lurking at the end.

“So now what?” jaejoong asked

Yunho stood there and look at the entrance of one tunnel to the next. He closed his eyes and let his inner sense take over. Even though all 4 of them are pretty much the same, he felt that one of them has a strange flow of energy. He opened his eyes and pointed to the tunnel to their left

“This one…” he said

Jaejoong turn to look at the one Yunho is pointing to, rather than doubt him, he has complete trust in him. In a situation like this, it is better to believe in the ancient dragons who has magical power than your own gut feeling that could potential lead you to your ultimate doom.

“Then let’s go…”

They walked down the tunnel and felted like this one was much longer. They did not reach a dead end…did not reach anything dangerous and has yet to come across another tunnel. Just when jaejoong thought everything was going smoothly, he ends up stepping onto a trap as the ground under his feet moved down a bit. Alarmed, Yunho quickly reached out to jaejoong and pushed forward. Multiple arrows flew out of the wall as Yunho manages to counter all of them using his power. From this point, it was one trap after other and if it wasn’t for Yunho, this place would have been jaejoong’s burial ground. They were able to reach a safe point of the tunnel as jaejoong gasp and pant from the running.

“That was too close…” spoke jaejoong “I thought for sure I was going to die…”

Yunho of course did not speak, he was awfully quiet as jaejoong turn his attention to the dragon who seem to be gazing at something. He turn his head to what Yunho is looking at and he was surprised to see a large stone door before them. It also has beautiful engraving but for some reason, this engraving was different from what they had seen before.

“Could this be it?” jaejoong asked

Yunho walked over and traced his hand over the familiar symbols as if he had seen them before. Specially one particular symbol in the middle of the stone door. A memory of his past flashed before his eyes of someone standing in front of him wearing a piece of clothing that has this exact symbol.

“Yunho?”

“Yes….”

“Is something wrong?”

Yunho shook his head and smile a bit “let’s see what is behind this door…”

With a push, the stone door begin to open as a bit of light flashed before their eyes. When the door fully opens, they were amaze at what lies before them. It is a very large cavern extending hundreds of feet above and hundreds of feet wide. On the top of the cavern, there is a large hole covered by thick glass allowing natural sunlight to come inside giving the place a bit of a glow. Where they stood is a few feet above the ground below but there is a pathway on the side of the wall leading downward. At the bottom, the ground is covered in grass as if life grew here with trees, plants and beautiful flowers. There are also a few small lakes around the area with crystal clear water falling from holes on the ceiling making it like little falls. Birds could be seen flying around, chirping away giving this place a taste of enchantments, something straight out of a fantasy world. In the middle of the cavern stood what looked like a small cottage wrapped by multiple vines to show that it has aged.

Upon seeing this, Yunho and jaejoong exchange another look both agreeing that this must be the place Soomin’s parent must have lived years ago. They walks down the pathway and toward the ground below with ease. They passed the little lakes and the plants that has been growing here in the cavern. Everything here was an indication that people had lived here before but now it looked deserted. Even the cottage looks old and dusted as if it will fall apart at any moment. Jaejoong turn to his right and saw something that caught his eyes. There were multiple flowers growing near the cottage. Even though there has not been anyone living here for years, these flowers were still blooming beautifully with bright colors.

“How can…these things still grow when no one has lived here for so long?” jaejoong asked

“These plants live off of the water and ground of this cavern…The hole above give them the natural light they need and the moisture here in this cavern keeps them growing years after years…” said Yunho “not to mention…there is a powerful energy here to keep it alive for many years to come…”

They explored the place a bit as jaejoong discovered another pathway leading to a dark tunnel up ahead. He called for Yunho as they both once again walked toward the other tunnel. However compare to the first one they went through, this one was dimly lit. The wall was rougher, it was not smooth out like the others and there was no engraving or pillars. On the wall are beautiful crystals, varies in shape, size and colors that shines a luminous light. As they made it halfway, the temperature seem to have dropped to a chilling degree. Jaejoong shivered a bit as he folded his arms over his chest hugging himself hoping it will keep him warm. Upon seeing him shivers, Yunho could tell that it is cold as he give jaejoong his jacket. He grab it without any hesitation and felt the warmth traveling to his body as the cold faded away. He can’t help but wondered if this is also a magical jacket. They walked for some time before coming across two tunnels. They paused, unsure of which tunnel to take.

“Which one do we take now?” jaejoong asked

Yunho wasn’t sure which one to take this time, they both were normal tunnel and he didn’t sense anything strange from one tunnel compare to the other. But before he could fully think it through, his bride had already made the decision of pointing to the tunnel to their right

“This has got to be the right one…” said jaejoong

“How are you so sure?”

“tsk…tsk…tsk…this is the downfall of having a body that quickly adept to temperature….you can’t feel the difference….this tunnel is clearly blowing cold wind while this one over here is very still….Soomin stated his dad is incase in ice meaning the room must be cold…not to mention half way through this tunnel, it had gotten extremely cold too….so…it has to be this tunnel…”

Strangely Yunho didn’t doubt jaejoong but trust him as he smiled “I’ll lead…in case there is anything up ahead…”

Jaejoong didn’t protest as Yunho walked first and he follow closely behind. When they reached the end, to their surprise it was another large cavern but this one was covered in crystalized ices. Large icicles hangs from the ceiling, large blocks of ice could be seen on the ground and sharp spike like ices covered the wall. The place is a freaking ice cave. In the center is a tall and large crystalized ice. Compare to the others, this one was different. The texture was softer and base on the fog around it, this ice was far colder than the others. Yunho knew right away that they had found the dragon of light. He could sense the faint energy coming from this ice and the spell that has been casted. Both of them walked over to the large ice in the middle and felted a bit nervous.

“What should we do? Soomin isn’t here…” ask jaejoong

“It doesn’t mean she can’t see him…we will release him first and then go find her…” said Yunho

Jaejoong nodded in agreement as he stood right before the large crystalized ice. However, they were not able to see the figure inside as the fog has covered, blocking others from seeing. Yunho stepped forward and conjured water and wrap around the block of ice washing away all the fogs revealing a young looking middle age man. His eyes remained close, his body was slender dressed in white. He had long silver like hair that reached his waist which has been braided. His skin is as pale as the snow similar to Soomin. Even though he is a man, his appearances is very elegant and beautiful. Upon seeing him, jaejoong was fascinated but Yunho was a little shaken.

“What is it?” Jaejoong asked

“He…I can’t believe it….this…” he spoke in total shock

“Do you….know him?”

Yunho slowly nodded his head as he walked closer and placed his hand upon the ice staring at this beautiful man “He…is one of my father’s most trusted subject…a very close friend…he serve alongside my father and is given the position of overseeing the coronation of a king….it…was decided that he will be the one who will crown me when it was my time to take over….but….I thought for sure he had died along with the others during massacre centuries ago…to think that he is still alive is a miracle…”

Yunho spoke of him with great respect and happiness. He smiled so warmly as if they both shared great memories together in the past. Just thinking about this and seeing Yunho’s soft smile irritated jaejoong as he felt his chest tighten.

“But…he is also the father of Soomin...” said jaejoong

Yunho lower his gaze “That is what surprised me….back then he spoke of never taking a bride…he wishes to serve at my father’s side…watch over him and my mother…to help insure that all dragons are at peace. He didn’t believe in making a human bear the burden of carrying a dragon child or having to endure themselves being hunted by hunters….he was a gentle and kind man who spoke softly…for him to go against what he believed and actually took in a bride is unbelievable….Soomin’s mother must be a unique woman to be able to change his mind….”

“Even if she was able to change his mind…it was also her who chose to dissolve the bond between them….giving him love and then giving him heartache….that is indeed a unique woman…”

Yunho could only sigh before retreating his hand and turn to jaejoong “Lets release him…maybe he will be able to answer a few question of what happen back then that is still unclear to me…”

“What do I need to do?”

Yunho lifted his hand as it started to glow. Water begin to appear and swirled around until the sword appeared. He grasped the handle and aim the blade toward jaejoong.

“We will need your blood…” he spoke with a serious look on his face

Boa and his group walked through the thick forest until they reached the spot where jaejoong and the others had fallen. They remain hidden in the shadows as they watched a few people dressed in black guarding the large hole that was made when the ground pulled apart. From their expression, it looks like they are contacting others, preparing for a rescue operation.

“Kill them all…” Boa commanded as the people she brought with her quickly disappeared behind her. They rushed toward the group of people in black and killed everyone in sight living no survivor. The ground was dye in red as the crystal clear water now has a hint of color. Once everyone was disposed of, Boa emerged from the shadows and walked over to the large hole. She could feel gust of wind blowing from below causing her hair to sway back and forth as her expression became bitter.

“What is the next plan?” one of the hunters spoke

“3 of you remain here and watch this place…anyone who approach this location…kill them at will….if anyone comes up this hole, don’t hesitate to kill as well….the rest of you…come with me….we are going to kill this dragon of light before he ruin our plan….”

With that being said, Boa and the other hunters jumped down the dark hole as 3 hunters remain above ground to guard the place. The fall was deep but thanks to the dragon scale in their possession, it prevented them from falling to their death as they floated to the ground below. Boa could see other bodies on the ground and large debris around them. They walked down the tunnel and came to an intersection. With a gesture of her head, the group broke into two, each going down a different tunnel. Base on how urgent this matter was, Boa had brought a large group of hunters in order to cover all ground and find this dragon of light. The fact that they don’t know how strong he might be, it is best to bring extra hands to watch everyone’s back. No matter the situation, none of them is going to leave this place unless the dragon of light is dead. She can’t help but feel anxious and worried about being too late. If she fail to stop him, Yunho will be free of the darkness inside him and her hope of having him at her side will disappear forever. She wasn’t going to just sit around and let someone else take him from her after all the effort she had put into this and all those centuries of waiting for him to surface. Anyone who gets in her way, she will kill them all.

Jaejoong look at the shape blade pointing directly at him as he swallow his spit in fear. He nervously glanced at Yunho who wore a serious look on his face wondering if this dragon wants to kill him.

“M...my blood you say? Like…how much do you need?” he asked nervously

Yunho look at him strangely before realizing the misunderstanding “We only need a bit…just cut the palm of your hand on this blade and place your hand upon the ice…and the rest will do itself…”

Jaejoong let out a sigh of relief before stepping to the side and away from the front of the blade “Are you sure it’s going to work?”

“Do you doubt me?”

“Of course not…it’s just…kind of weird you know…I am your bride….and he is a beautiful SINGLE man…I’m just a little surprise that you will allow your bride to bleed for another man…if it was me…I would never allow such thing….it’s almost as if I’m being shared…” jaejoong grinned trying to tease Yunho

“Stop talking nonsense and hurry up…”

“Alright…don’t get all pissy on me…” said jaejoong as he reached for the blade.

He only managed to grasp the blade when a bullet ring through the air as it flew right pass jaejoong and hit the ice in front of him. Both of them turn their attention to the entrance of the tunnel and to their surprise it’s the evil uncle. He was able to survive the fall as he held in one had a silver pistol and on the other hand is Soomin. There were 3 other people behind him as they show some sign of injuries but not enough to kill them it seems.

“Step away from him right now…otherwise….” He pointed the gun to the side of Soomin’s head “I’ll kill her…”

Jaejoong sneers at him “She is just a child…let her go…”

“It doesn’t matter if she is a child…I’ll still kill her if you do not step away from the ice….” He noticed the sword in Yunho’s hand and immediately felt threaten “Throw the sword away right now and step away…”

Yunho was going to kill him but once again jaejoong stopped him “Not yet…Soomin is still in his hand…we can’t let her get harm…”

Upon seeing the hesitated look on Yunho and jaejoong’s face, the uncle smile widely “Throw the sword to the side and step away if you want her to live…”

Yunho glance at jaejoong who nodded his head. With a sigh, Yunho tossed his sword to the side as they both stepped away from the dragon of light. The uncle smile even bigger as he walked forward pushing Soomin in front of him grasping the back of her shirt. He made sure to keep the gun at her head in any case that the other two make any movement, he will pull the trigger. Once he got to the large ice and sees the dragon of light, his eyes sparkled with endless excitement. Soomin lifted her lead to see her father for the first time and all kind of emotion surfaced that she wasn’t sure how to express.

“Finally…after so many years…You are finally in my hand…” the uncle spoke in a creepy obsessed tone of voice

He turn to the other 3 gunmen as he have them try and break free the ice from the ground so they can carried him away. However, it was hard to even break the ice. The first attempt was a failure as well as the second attempt but they wouldn’t give up. They tried all kind of method to try and remove the large ice.

“Stop! Don’t do this uncle!” Soomin shouted worrying that by tempering with the crystalized ice will cause unknown harm to her father.

Upon seeing her struggle, her uncle didn’t want to handle her so he tossed her to one of the gunmen to hold. He steps forward and aimed his gun and pulled the trigger as the bullet struck the ice at the bottom creating a little dent.

“Stop!!! Please stop!!” Soomin shouted as she struggle but was useless

“You just shut up or I will shut you up my self!” the uncle threaten her

Soomin look at her father and then turn to her uncle “You can’t take him like this…if you try to force the ice to break…you will end up killing him….” she shouted

The uncle turn to Soomin and felt like she knows of a better way to break this ice. He slowly walks toward her with a smile

“Soomin ah….you…don’t want me to harm your father?”

She nodded her head

“Then…you tell me…how can I break the ice and not hurt your father…?”

She bites her lip to prevent her from spilling the truth. She slightly glance at jaejoong who shook his head, advising her not to say anything.

“I…I don’t know…” she spoke

“But…I think you do know…if you don’t want your father to get hurt…tell me otherwise…I will continue to put bullet into that block of ice….”

Soomin looks at him in horror unsure of what she should do. If she tells him the truth, jaejoong will be in danger, but if she doesn’t say anything, it could bring harm to her dad.

“I…I really don’t know…” she lower her gaze

Her uncle highly doubt that she doesn’t know. Using the end of the pistol he place it under her chin and lifted her gaze to look at him

“Tell me Soomin ah….who is more important to you? Your father….or your friend…”

“I…I…” she glance at jaejoong once again as the uncle followed her gaze toward him. His lip curved into a big smile before standing up

“W-wait…” she shouted but was ignored

Her uncle took a few steps forward as Yunho pushed jaejoong behind him as protective measure. The uncle stopped within a feet of them holding onto this pistol looking directly at jaejoong

“It seems you know how to remove the ice….will you kindly tell me so we all can move on…?”

Jaejoong only grins at him “Do you really think I will tell you?”

The uncle scratch the side of his side with the end of the pistol, clearly losing his patient. He quickly pointed the gun back at Soomin and pulled the trigger without any hesitation. The sound of bullets echoed throughout the cavern until everything went completely still as blood dyed the ground.
