The night ended like that, I didn’t bother talking to either of the boys since they were crowded over by girls and also Jiyong kept me company the whole time. It was actually a good thing, it would have been awkward talking to them after the whole dance and kiss but when I got a look at their faces it looked like what happened didn’t even happen – acting all cool and stuff, which I didn’t mind to do the same too, it would just make everything easier or normal at least.

One by one all the idols left the hall to the hotel which we were all staying at, all the groups of a company stayed on the same floor so we didn’t really interact with them. I didn’t mind since I wasn’t really close to all of them.

“Dara can I sleep with you tonight?” Jiyong yawned while our YG family went to our vans. The boys snorted at that, we’re pretty much used to Ji coming over the dorm once awhile then sleeping over it’s nothing new but the boys are still a little not used to their leader acting like a child when it comes to me. “Of course but do you have something to change with?” I asked getting in the car, he didn’t say anything and just left then went to theirs, when he came back he was smiling holding a bag on his hand “Yeah!” he cheered and I just chuckled scooting over so he could sit beside me.

The ride back to the hotel was a little long and the girls along with Ji fell asleep, they all danced the night away so it’s understandable while I on the other hand just stared out the window looking over the stars which were rarely seen in the city so I’m savouring the moment right now.

Getting the feel of the cold night I remembered things from then, things like how I used to spend the night sitting with my mother on the balcony of my room gazing over the star and the moon while she brushed my hair and hummed songs. Also with my father at the castle’s library, his sweet voice echoing throughout the hollow room as he read stories to me, not to mention how I would laugh real loud and would get us in trouble with grumpy old Victor for being noisy.

To be honest, I’ve been remembering my past a lot lately and it’s been bothering me. Why now? I asked to myself, now that everything in my life is perfect and starting to forget all that it just all comes back. I already accepted the fact that I can’t hide from who I am but could it just at least not waste all the years of hard work of running.

‘Araia’a loud whispered shot my eyes open. I turned to the girls and Ji they were still silently sleeping but how? I swear that call was loud enough to wake up Bom. I started to panic a little but still stayed calm then it came again but this time the voice was getting familiar to me ‘Araia’.

This time gazing over outside seeing if there was someone, a vampire maybe that was around and surely there was but it was faint that it seemed like there was none. I shook my head shrugging it off thinking it’s just probably my head thinking ahead of me.

We got to the hotel shortly after. Everybody grunted while still half asleep walking to our rooms, the boy wasn’t heavy for me to carry but since I have a small body – contrast to my strength, manager oppa offered to help him get to the room. We all still had to change so I had to use a little of my powers to get them moving, I usually don’t like using them coz makes me fight with myself – sounds weird but I do that most of the time, over the topic of trying to live as a human though sometimes it’s just needed.

Ji was already under the covers sleeping, snoring a little bit, I walked up close to him just to stare at his face which again one of the things I do most of the times then went to search something on my bag. Seeing how my bag is huge and opening it up to search for it would be a lot of work I just decided to one more time use my powers.

“Pendant!” I lowly mumbled under my breath, holding out my hand on the air then a ball blue light and orbs formed on my hand resting the pendant I just conjured out.

I sat beside the window sill, pushing away the curtains so the moonlight can shine down on the jewellery I was holding out. The pendant floated in mid air right between both of my hands I closed my eyes slightly and muttered a few words, the pendant opened and started to sing out the lullaby my mother used to sing to me. Flashing out a dim red light the figure of both my parents dancing along the melody came out.

“I miss you!” I cried, leaning my head on the wall while watching them dance. I unconsciously closed my eyes then it started all over again.

“Father, where are we going?” I asked swaying the hands that were intertwined. Mother was walking just behind us talking to one of the maid-servants about the grand dinner tonight for tthe anniversary of the kingdom’s establishment. At times like this I would always stick close to my father for the reason I have no interests on this kind of things, often times he would be helping too and I would be spending the whole day with Xenos Haeden Lee, the son of my father’s right hand man. I like being with him because he makes me feel like I’m not the princess of the whole clan like I’m just a normal vampire kid.

“We are going to meet Craven to talk about tonight!” My father answered my question with a smile but I just frowned at that, he knows better that I don’t like him though I like his son and yet he still brings me into this kind of meetings. “Don’t frown my princess Xenos would be there to play with you!” he added seeming to read my mind without even actually reading it.

I took back my hand and walked ahead when I saw phoenix rest on one of the fire trees nearby the river. “Araia dear you can play with phoenix some other time, right now we have to get going!” mother reminded me, she held out her hands waiting for me to hold them.
