Yunseo was mildly surprised to see Jin still at their house when she came back from picking Haeun up from daycare, Yoongi could see it on the look on her face.

“What’s with that look?” Yoongi frowned at his sister as she walked in

“Seokjin’s still here” She answered “I can’t believe he’s able to spend this much time with you”

Jin barked a laugh and Yoongi glared while his sister ran up the stairs to put his sleeping niece to bed so she could nap properly.

“I’ve always liked spending time with Yoongi” Jin smiled when Yunseo came back down the stairs “He’s pretty easy to get along with unless your Hoseok who likes to rile him up. Besides I’m his favorite”

“Jimin’s my favorite” Yoongi states bluntly looking back down at his phone as Jin let out the third scandalized gasp since he’d gotten to Yoongi’s house

“Jiminie stole you right out from under me!” Jin groaned “How dare he”

“Jin” Yoongi sighed “After Jimin is Namjoon. Then Jungkook and then maybe you, depending on the day”

“You can’t pick favorites!” Jin scolded “That’s against the friend code”

“Well, you started it” Yoongi shrugged a small smile playing at the corner of his lips and Jin knew Yoongi was just joking

“ you”

“Not your job” Yoongi chuckled his response immediately and Jin laughed again

“Wow you guys really do get along, huh?” Yunseo raised an eyebrow at the two laying on the ground

“Yup” they chorused both lifting their thumbs in the air

Yunseo looked like she was about to say something when a shout was heard from the front yard, and she turned to look out the window.

“There’s a boy with like orange hair making poses at another boy on our lawn” Yunseo stated obviously confused and Yoongi sighed standing from his spot while Jin attempted to suppress a laugh.

“I got it” Yoongi frowned walking to the door before calling harshly “Hey brat! Get off my lawn!”

“You sound like a Grandpa Hyung!” Taehyung amused voice boomed loud enough for Jin to start laughing harder

“I will spray you with my hose Taehyung!” Yoongi threatened, pointing to the garden hose less than two feet away from the front door

“That’s Jin’s job” Came Namjoon’s response, though it was a normal volume so hopefully no one else did, except Taehyung who nodded with a eating grin on his face

Yoongi pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration “What do you guys want?” he asked as they actually started making their way up to their front door

“I got off work early and Taehyung and I thought it’d be a great idea to bother you” Namjoon grinned pulling Yoongi into a headlock

“I hate you both” Yoongi groaned trying to escape the taller man’s hold

“Yoongi, you just called Namjoon your second favorite less that ten minutes ago” Jin giggled, still laying on the ground making Taehyung jump and immediately wave excitedly at his boyfriend

“I change my mind” Yoongi deadpanned “Jungkook and Jimin are all I need, the rest of you can burn in hell”

“You’re harsh Baby bro” Yunseo laughed drawing Namjoon and Taehyung’s attention to her “You should treat your friends better”

“He really should, shouldn’t he?” Namjoon agreed letting go of Yoongi to introduce himself “I’m Kim Namjoon, nice to meet you” he smiled and Yoongi, for some odd reason really wanted to poke his dimple

Taehyung beat him to that though. Poking it himself before grinning widely at Yoongi’s sister with a “Kim Taehyung” and something about Taehyung’s introduction made Yoongi scoff

“Min Yunseo” Yunseo chuckled “I’m Yoongi’s older sister, thanks for putting up with him”

“Noona” Jin called from the floor, making the elder woman turn her head to look at him “These are my soulmates”

“Why’re you on the ground?” Namjoon lips quirked into a confused, yet amused smile

“Thug life” Was Jin’s response and both Namjoon and Yoongi found themselves with their hands over their faces because why

“Hyung” Taehyung said sitting next to Jin on the soft carpeting “Please never say those words again”

Jin smiled fondly uttering a happy “Ok” reaching for Taehyung’s hand, and Yunseo left for the kitchen to grab them some snacks

“Ok real fast” Yoongi sighed out as soon as his sister was out of ear shot

“What?” Namjoon and Taehyung chorused

“Don’t mention anything about how Hobi and Jimin are my” Yoongi paused again to make sure his sister wasn’t creeping back into the room “My soulmates”

“Why not?” Taehyung asked cocking his head to the side

“It took her two years for her to accept her soulmates.” Yoongi stated “So like although she’s fine with other people’s soulmates when it comes to ours she’s a bit wearier”

“Is it like a family thing?” Namjoon asked because Yoongi’s never actually given them a legitimate answer

“It’s a…” Yoongi hesitated for a second “Sibling thing”

“They have their reasons” Jin said before they could interrogate farther, knowing Yoongi was getting uncomfortable

“Anyways, if she knew how quickly I accepted them she’d throw a small fit” Yoongi shrugged “It’s better a secret for the time being. And yes, I did warm up the fastest out of my siblings”

Namjoon and Taehyung nodded somewhat understanding with Namjoon mumbling a quiet “Wow”

“On the subject of soulmates though” Taehyung said after a moment “You said everyone can burn in hell except for Jimin and Jungkook.”

“I sure did” Yoongi nodded settling down onto the couch as his sister came back out

“You’re taking my soulmates” Taehyung whined

“You get Jin” Yoongi shrugged

“That’s one of three Yoongi hyung” Taehyung frowned “You could at least give me Jungkook and then just have Jiminie”

“So you’re saying you want Jungkook to burn in hell” Namjoon clarified also sitting on the couch

“Wha- no! I’m just saying that I don’t think Jimin would do well in hell seeing as how he’s a little angel” Taehyung denied “Whereas Jungkook is the devil himself therefor he’d do better”

“And what are you then Taehyung?” Namjoon teased “An alien?”

“You know I don’t like being called that” Taehyung whined and Namjoon apologized

“Jimin’s older than you” Yoongi pointed out “Why’re you calling him a little angel?”

“He’s still short” Taehyung countered “Just like you hyung”

“Brat-”

“Sorry to cut in but did you say you have three soulmates?” Yunseo interrupted Yoongi

“Yup” Taehyung grinned “I’ve got Jin hyung here, and then two platonic soulmates. Jimin and Jungkook, who Yoongi hyung wants to steal from me and I’m not having it. This the second time he’s trying to take Jungkook”

“It’s not my fault I like your soulmates better than I like you” Yoongi was obviously joking and Taehyung laughed his deep laugh

“Savagery” Namjoon commented giving Yoongi a fist bump

“I keep hearing three names” Yunseo said after a minute “Where are they?”

“Dance practice” Jin answered “We’re friends with a bunch of dancing show offs”

“No, we’re friends with bunch of show offs that know how to move their bodies properly” Namjoon rolled his eyes

Jin grumbled a low “I know how to move my body”

“What was that Mr. Traffic light dance?” Yoongi scoffed, laughing at the way Jin seemed to deflate in defeat

No one even noticed the sound of feet padding slowly down the stairs until Yoongi suddenly popped up from the couch and strode toward the stairs, swooping down (grimacing slightly as his stiches shifted) and picking his five-year-old niece up.

“Hey sweetheart” Yoongi smiled as Haeun rubbed her eyes sleepily “What’re you doing up? I thought you were napping”

“’T’s loud” Haeun yawned “Oppa there are handsome men in the living room”

“Sorry we woke you” Yoongi kissed her cheek as an apology “And yes, there are men in the living room. Do you wanna meet them? They’re oppa’s friends”

“Yoongi hyung’s oddly good with children” Taehyung whispered as Haeun nodded her head

“I told you” Jin grinned “Soft spot for all things Haeun”

“Guys” Yoongi voice was monotone as he walked back over “This is my niece Haeun” he introduced as she waved shyly earning smiles from the boys

“Haeunie” he continued in a much sweater tone “These are oppa’s friends. The one on the couch is Namjoon, the pretty one is Jin and then the orange haired one is Tae”

Haeun looked at them for a moment before leaning in to whisper into Yoongi’s ear, and Yoongi had to laugh

“What?” Jin asked finally sitting up

“She said she likes Namjoon’s dimple” Yoongi shrugged slightly sitting down on the couch with Haeun on his lap

Taehyung sighed “Me too” and Namjoon chuckled slightly

And after a few minutes Haeun began to open up and in less than 5 minutes she and Taehyung were arguing about Digimon and Yoongi really didn’t want to know how the two of them even got on the subject from a show that’s over ten years old.

“No Tae oppa!” Haeun whined “Patamon was the best!”

“No way!” Taehyung shook his head as Haeun sat next to him so they could converse easier “Gomamon all the way”

Jin moved from the floor, sitting in the small space between Namjoon and Yoongi effectively squishing Yoongi into armrest.

“Why are they arguing about cartoons?” Jin asked as the two continued

“What else can a three-year-old argue about?” Namjoon shrugged

“She’s five” Yoongi corrected as he scrolled through his phone

Namjoon laughed “I was talking about Taehyung”

Yoongi laughed watching as Haeun sprung up from her spot

“Yeah?” the girl sassed “Well my girlfriend turned into the moon!”

Taehyung blinked at here for a second before chuckling “That’s rough buddy” and Haeun burst into a fit of little giggles

“Noona what kinda shows are you letting her watch?” Yoongi frowned turning to his sister who was typing on her phone

“The good kind” She answered absentmindedly “Obviously”  

“She’s right” Taehyung nodded “The shows she’s referencing are some good ”

“Tae oppa!” Haeun squeaked “That’s a bad word!”

“Your right” Taehyung nodded “We should never say those words”

They nodded at each other in agreement and Yoongi thought Taehyung might actually get along better with her than he does

“Taehyung” Namjoon raised an eyebrow as the younger stood up from the couch “Where’re you goin?”

Taehyung paused, turning his phone alarm off “To Kook’s house” he answered “It’s movie night”

“Movie night?” Namjoon frowned cocking his head to the side

“Yup” Taehyung grinned “Me Kookie and Jiminie do this once a month”

“Tae, it’s Monday night” Jin scolded “You’ll ruin yours and the other’s sleep schedules”

Taehyung just shrugged skipping out of the room happily

"Jesus christ" Yoongi chuckled "They're idiots"

Surprisingly enough the three maknaes weren't tired the next day

“You’re serious?”  Jungkook jeered in disbelief during lunch 

“It’s not like I really want to” Yoongi groaned, pressing his cheek harder to the top of Jimin’s thigh “I just – it’s like a thing with my siblings and I – and I dunno, it’s complicated”

“Yoongi was the fastest in you know, coming to terms with their soulmates” Jin sighed, attempting to defend his best friend

“So you’re just gonna keep Hobi hyung and Jimin a secret?” Jungkook hissed “That’s not fair to them”

“I know it’s not!” Yoongi barked “I just-”

“I understand” Jimin cut in “I mean I can’t really complain like I’m already dating you, so I don’t mind. It’s your family thing, you can deal with it in your own way. I’ll just go with whatever”

Yoongi turned to look at his boyfriend, eyebrows drawing together

“Me too” Hoseok agreed “You know, minus the dating thing because, gross”

“Funny, that’s what I said when my sister said you sounded like a good boyfriend” Yoongi chuckled before rolling over to his side and pressing his nose into Jimin’s sweater “You guys are too understanding, what the hell is wrong with you?”

“I agree” Jungkook nodded “What is wrong with you two”

Hoseok rolled his eyes “It’s not like she’s not gonna meet us, she just won’t know we’re Yoongi’s soulmates” he said with a shrug “We’ll just be Yoongi’s bestest friends to her”

“She thinks he hates you” Jin laughed

“What?” Hoseok gasped “Why?”

“Because everyone picked you as their favorite hyung” Jin shrugged “We were both offended. He said you could burn in hell”

“Yoongi!” Hoseok whined “Is that true?”

“If it makes you feel better I said the rest of them could too” Yoongi chuckled

“Technically he said that everyone except Jimin and Jungkook could burn” Namjoon pointed out “And then Taehyung said that Jungkook should burn with us”

“Taehyung hyung!” Jungkook gasped

“I thought it’d be romantic for them to be the only two” Taehyung defended

 “Ah yes, romance at its finest” Jimin snorted “Watching all your friends burn in hell together. The ideal date”

Yoongi finds himself laughing along with the rest of them, thinking he might be even more in love with Jimin then he had initially thought

“Noona” Yoongi called out as he walked back into his house followed Hoseok “I’m home! I brought an idiot with me”

“You brought an idiot?” Yunseo called back from upstairs “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means your brother’s a jerk” Hoseok yelled back making Yoongi chuckle slightly

“That was a new voice, right?” she asked slowly making her way down the steps “I’m not like going insane right?”

“Yeah it’s one of the ones that wasn’t here yesterday” Yoongi sighed walking into the kitchen and immediately tossing a can of cola at the younger, who surprisingly caught it, and the two of them hoisted themselves to sit on the counter

“Just one?” Yunseo asked, finally making her way into the room

“It’s my hope day” Yoongi shrugged cracking his own can open

Yunseo blinked, frowning slightly “Your what day?”

“His hope day” Hoseok grinned “At least twice a month he has to spend a day with me, I’m Hoseok by the way”

“Boyfriend material Hoseok or the Hoseok that can rot in hell?” Yunseo asked eyeing the brown haired boy

“Both” Hoseok laughed “I’m his only Hoseok, his hope, his-”

“My pain in the ” Yoongi rolled his eyes “My reason to question my life choices”

Hoseok barked a loud laugh “Those too” he added with a nod “But you know you love me”

“Yeah sure” Yoongi snorted “You keep telling yourself that buddy”

“You should really treat your friends better” Yunseo sighed

Hoseok shook his head chuckling slightly “Nah, that’s just how he shows his love” He smiled at Yoongi’s quirked eye brow “Through sarcastic comments and nicknames such as buddy, it’s how I know he loves me”

“Anyways” Yoongi sighed, hopping off the counter “It’s my hope day, so we’re gonna head upstairs. Please don’t disrupt the ‘hope session’ or whatever he calls it”

“Hope session works” Hoseok nodded “It was nice meeting you…”

“Yunseo” the woman smiled

“Nice to meet you Yunseo Noona” Hoseok grinned following Yoongi
