He knew where he wanted Hyesung to scream, there was a perfect part for Eric’s rap to go, he knew how he would blend their voices, he just couldn’t settle on a perfect subject for the lyrics.

Heartbreak seemed obvious, it was indeed a power ballad, and ballad’s worked well with sorrow, which was also something he could relate to.

But no matter what he wrote, it just didn’t seem genuine.

He wasn’t sad about a breakup. He was hurting because of a relationship that never started.

The pen hit the paper, his thoughts going to the man he knew he shouldn’t love, but he also knew it was too hard not to love.

The words suddenly came out easily, his mind wandering to the man’s smile, his voic
