Chapter 3
Fix YouIt's going to be a long day for Jessica at work today. Aside from the fact that her job is involved with every employee in the company, she has interviewed 10 applicants and she was almost done. Just one more, and she's done.
"You may go."
That was the 11th applicant that she interviewed for a job and she was done with her task. The last applicant thanked her before leaving the room, and with the door being closed, she sighed. She closed the last folder that she had in her hands and placed it on one of the piles.
"Save the best for last, they said." She smirked while shaking her head. Unfortunately, it was on the pile of rejected applicants. She combined all the folders, making the two piles face the opposite direction from each other.
"Ms. Jung, do you need any help?" Her grandfather's assistant went inside the room where the interview took place and asked her if she needed anything.
Shaking her head with her infamous half smile, she stood up and gathered the folders in her hands. As she walked out of the room, she noticed that the door was held open for her. "Thank you." Even if she doesn't talk much, she still knew the meaning of the word respect. She knew that her grandfather's assistant was walking behind her, following her to her grandfather's office.
"Come in," Grandpa Jung said from the inside of his office.
Jessica walked inside, 11 folders in her hands, and placed it on her grandfather's desk, separating them into two piles.
"Let me guess. Five applicants got the job?"
She nodded before placing her hand on the six other folders. "They were either stuttering or just out of it."
Grandpa Jung smiled at her granddaughter. "Of course, our Jessica would only pick the best. Thank you for bringing these here. I'll ask Ms. Oh to inform the five of them to come to the office next week so they can start."
She bowed at her grandfather before leaving his office. "See you later, harabeoji."
"It's already lunch, Jessica. We better go. Your grandmother's already waiting."
She looked at her watch and saw that it was already time for lunch. It was actually a bit late. It was almost two in the afternoon. "Sorry, harabeoji. I didn't notice the time. I'll just get my stuff."
"I'll see you in the car."
With that, she nodded her head and made her way to her office to get ready for lunch with her grandparents.
"Looks like two people forgot about me." Grandma Jung sighed before taking another sip of water. Jessica and her grandfather had just arrived at the restaurant and that was how the old lady greeted them.
"You're being dramatic again. If we forgot you, then we wouldn't be arriving here." Grandpa Jung sat beside her, crossing his arms.
Jessica went beside her grandmot
