After officially becoming a couple, Donghae delivered the news to his parents through a phone call the next morning. He was all smiles when he told his parents that he finally asked Jessica to be his girlfriend and she didn't refuse. Both his parents were ecstatic with the news, most especially his mother who screamed, clapped, and even jumped when she heard the good news. Meanwhile, his father was very proud that he finally asked her out because it was no secret for the middle-aged man that his son had a crush on his co-worker, who later became his friend. Donghae and Jessica chuckled because of his dad's remark. Donghae said that he will be seeing them shortly before hanging up. He looked at the girl beside him while smiling shyly. "Sorry, you had to hear that." "No, it's fine. It's normal for parents to do that. My grandparents bicker a lot because of it." She was smiling as she explained.
