This was the second time that Jessica woke up for the day. The first time was when she said goodbye to her grandparents and walked them to the gate. She is currently being awakened by the sound of her phone ringing and hesitated to answer it at first, but she did with her eyes squinted only to answer the call and didn't even bother to check the caller ID.
"Hello," she answered with a very sleepy voice. "I guess I woke you up. Sorry about that." She recognized the voice and only pulled her duvet higher. "Donghae? Why did you call me this early? My grandparents just left a couple of minutes ago." "Huh? I thought they'll leave in the morning. Jung Jessica, do you actually know what time it is?" He was holding back his chuckle because he could tell that the sleepyhead was still in dreamland and only peeped into the real world to answer his call. "Yeah. It's like early in the morning and it's still time for me to sleep." Donghae could no longer contain his chuckle and this annoyed the girl on the other line. "Why are you laughing?" "Get up, sleepyhead. It's almost one in the afternoon. Your grandparents left five hours or six hours ago." He smiled as he heard her whining on the other line. "Still early. I'll call you when I wake up, okay?" Her eyebrows were furrowed, while her eyes were still closed. "Actually, I called you because I left my wallet in your house last night. I need it before I drive back to my parents." His voice became low as he stated his reason. Jessica's eyes suddenly opened. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. Are you downstairs? Just give me a minute and I'll be downstairs." She ended the call and ran to her bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face, and tie her hair before running downstairs. She opened the gate and saw Donghae standing outside with his hands behind him. "Sorry." Donghae smiled at her as she apologized. "It's alright. Sorry for waking you up." He stepped inside and followed her until they reached the house. "It's probably in the dining room." "Yeah. I'll help you look." She checked under the table before she checked the chair that he occupied during the previous night. He placed the paper bags on the table before pulling something from the back pocket of his jeans. "I found it!" She looked at him and saw him holding it on his right hand and she was surprised to see the paper bags on the table. "Where did you find it and you brought these with you?" He nodded his head before explaining to the girl. "I've been holding it behind me the whole time. And as for the wallet," he took a short pause and smiled before he continued. "I just pulled it out from my back pocket." She raised her eyebrows before blinking. "You only used that as an excuse to bring me food? You could've just handed it to me, but thanks a lot for surprise, Lee Donghae." She smiled at him before opening the paper bag. She looked at him and took quick steps next to him. "You're decreasing the time that you'll spend with your parents. Go now." She tapped on his arm repeatedly, a gesture telling him to leave. Donghae only chuckled and looked at her. "I just got back from Incheon. You sleep too much." He tapped on her hair before removing the food from the paper bags and placed them on the table. "I stopped by the restaurant where we first ate together since it was on the way, so I bought you food because I know that you'll be alone and you probably won't eat on time." Jessica was touched with his actions and upon hearing what he said, he gave him a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You do know that I'm blessed to have a Lee Donghae in my life, right?" She smiled really wide that even her eyes smiled along with her. "I know that." He smiled back at her and patted her head. "You'r
