Grandma Jung sat on the chair beside Jessica's bed and she couldn't help but have tears line her eyes as she looked at her granddaughter. She looked at her granddaughter who was on the bed, still unconscious from a new accident that she had encountered with. She looked at Jessica's hand that she was holding and caressing with her thumb. She still remembered how it felt like more than 10 years ago. She remembers waiting in the room for her granddaughter to wake up and also for her husband to return to the room to deliver her news that she never wanted to hear.

  "I'm sorry, dear." She wiped her tears that were threatening to fall and sighed. "Why does it have to happen again?"   The old woman's hushed tone was shaking as she spoke. If only she could take the new unfortunate event from Jessica's life, she really would. She could only think about how her granddaughter's life was far from a fairytale, something that most children had. As she's waiting for her granddaughter to regain consciousness, she was also praying in her heart for Donghae. She was aware that the young man made their Jessica's heart beat and made her life colorful once more. "God, please save that boy," she prayed repeatedly with tears wanting to spill as she thought about him.     Hours passed and Jessica finally opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes with her free hand when she felt like there was someone holding her other hand. As soon as Grandma Jung saw her arm's movement, she stood up. "Jessi," she called to her in a gentle voice. Jessica looked at her grandmother and noticed that she wasn't in her room. She's currently in a hospital room once again and only her grandmother was there with her. Déjà vu, she thought.   "Halmeoni," she said to her grandmother who had glassy eyes because of the tears that she was preventing to fall.   Grandma Jung had a small smile on her face because she was happy that her granddaughter's awake. "Are you hungry? What do you want?"   She tried to sit, but the old woman stopped her. Her grandmother told her that she would help her sit, so she obeyed. She watched her grandmother adjust her hospital bed and there, she saw it. She had a few bruises on her right arm. She lifted the blanket and saw that she also had bruises on her legs. She looked at them before looking at her grandmother. She squinted her eyes as she tried to recall what happened and her memory was so clear to her. They were driving back from Donghae's parents and she fell asleep in the car. Her eyes widened when she thought about him. "Halmeoni, what happened? Where's Donghae?"   The old woman didn't know what to say. "Well, I really don't know how to-"   "Granny, where's Donghae?"   The old woman only looked at her granddaughter and kissed her hair before pressing the buzzer to call for a nurse, then requested a wheelchair for her granddaughter. As she sat on the wheelchair and her grandmother was still silent, Jessica's suddenly getting a sinking feeling in her stomach. "I'll let you see him," her grandmother told her with a small smile on her face.     She was in a different floor. They turned right and saw that there were people seated on the chairs on the opposite side of a hospital room. One person from the group that was seated noticed them and this made the two others turn their heads to see Grandma Jung and her granddaughter on a wheelchair approaching them. They stood up and Jessica was surprised to see her grandfather and Donghae's parents.   "Sooyeon!" Her grandfather hugged her and kissed her hair before breaking the hug.   "Jessica, are you alright now?" Donghae's dad asked her with a small smile and a raspy voice.   Donghae's mom had a thin smile on her face when she saw Jessica and held her hand. "Are you feeling dizzy?"   She only shook her head and smiled lightly. "I'm alright now. Aunty, uncle, where's Donghae?"   Donghae's parents looked at each other before looking at her grandparents. Jessica's grandfather only nodded lightly and Donghae's mom gulped a small lump that was forming in before showing a small smile to her. With that, she was given a gown, a pair of rubber gloves, a cap, and a face mask and both her grandmother and Donghae's mom helped her. She was becoming nervous because she know that it only means that Donghae is not in a simple hospital room.
