Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and sadly, in a few more months, it will become a year. Jessica, Donghae's family, and her grandparents are all waiting for him to wake up, but sadly there are no signs yet. Her grandparents were extremely worried because they knew how their granddaughter hurt and it was really bad. If only they could take the sadness and the heavy load that she felt, they would. They'll share it with her as well, but they know how their granddaughter deals with pain. She would lock herself in her room, speak words that were little to none in one day, barely ate, showed no expression, and they were right. Since the day she got out of the hospital, she was back to the Jessica that was covered with grey skies.

She did take a rest from her duties in the office but it was only for a week. She was restless because she knew that something needed to be done. She knows that it was just like before; it was just her and their boss, Mr. Kang. The week that she spent at home was dedicated to crying, praying, looking at pictures, then back to crying. She would go out of the room to eat, looking like a complete mess because of her tired and swollen eyes. She barely said a word when she joined her grandparents to eat. Only "I'm done. Thank you," would be heard from the girl as she forced a faint smile. The week that she spent at home, all she did was ask the same thing everyday. "What did I do? Why did these things happen to me?" Inside the four walls of her room, she felt like she was a curse for the people that she cared about.

The first day back to work was something she needed to get her mind off of things. She was the one who decided to go back a week after she stayed home. Her grandfather asked her if she was sure, and she said that she was. Grandpa Jung knows that he'll never win over his little girl. He loves her too much and the most important thing for him is to always support her no matter what. She was greeted by everyone as she came back and though she was hurting, she managed to make her lips curve upward a bit, similar to the old smile that she used to wear before; before he came into her life.

She was back to her old ways everyday at work, except for one thing; she visits Donghae everyday. That's where she spends her lunch break, whenever she feels like there's just too much work in the office, and before she goes home, she checks up on him. On weekends, it was different. At first, she would visit her as soon as she gets up and would only go home to change her clothes and take a nap, but it changed after two months; she had all of her stuff with her when she arrives on Saturday. She would just sit there everyday by his side and hold his hand. She would always tell him about her day in the office as she looks at his face that looked so peaceful. She knows that he won't be able to respond to her, but she's still hoping that he'll suddenly wake up after ranting to him about how stressful or horrible her day was and tell her that she doesn't need to worry about those because at least she's got something to look forward to, like their date on the weekend. All she did was hope that he'll wake up soon.

She walked into the hospital and headed for the elevator. She pressed the button as soon as she went inside and walked with her head hanging low. It was Friday and she had just finished another toxic week in the office and she couldn't wait to see him tonight. She knocked on the door twice before letting herself in. Donghae's father stood up to greet her with a smile.

"How was work today?" The man's eyelids seemed heavy already as he greeted the special lady who had arrived.

She flashed a sad smile before answering his question. "The usual Friday, uncle. Where's auntie?"

"She went to Hae's apartment to rest. I told her to."

"She needs it. She's been getting more headaches now." She was nodding her head before she looked at the person on the bed, then looked back at his father once again.

His father knew what she was gonna say next, so he was the first one to nod his head, answering the question that the lady was about to ask him. "No signs yet. I'll leave you two alone now." He patted her shoulder and smiled tiredly at her before exiting his son's h
