Time moved too fast and before Donghae knew it, it has already been three months since Chairman Jung went to his office and asked him if he liked his granddaughter. After having that conversation with him, he noticed driving Jessica home on Fridays became a usual routine. Coincidentally, her grandmother's best friend from Canada is currently visiting the country with her husband, who happens to be her grandfather's best friend, and her grandparents would have dinners with them on Fridays. The two pairs of best friends would even spend the weekends together, just catching up on the year that they have spent apart.

 

Whenever her grandparents would leave on Saturdays, Jessica would spend the day at home, just having a marathon of her favorite shows or catching up on her sleep. Donghae knew that she would usually stay home on weekends because he asked her what she was up to and she said that her grandparents were out. He offered to hang out with her, but she refused because she knows that he goes home on the weekends to Incheon and spend time with his family.   It was Friday again and currently, just like any other Fridays, Donghae was driving from work with Jessica. He would always ask her how her week went so far and she would tell him everything, from the highlights (no matter how ugly or nice it was), and even the boring ones.   "I really can't wait to catch up on my sleep." She yawned before she could even finish her sentence.   Donghae seemed worried and looked over at her before looking back at the road. "You weren't able to get enough sleep."   Jessica furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head to side. "I think?"   "You're not sure of your answer. You think you lack sleep or you think you're just the usual sleepy you?"   "Just being sleepy me." She nodded her head while smiling.   "I figured." He chuckled before while nodding his head. "Are you gonna be home alone tomorrow?"   "Yeah. My grandparents are going with their besties somewhere again, so I'll be catching up on sleep again."   "Are you sure you d-"   "Yes, I'm very sure that I don't wanna go anywhere and I'll be fine and you can go home and spend time with your family." She looked at him and smiled before raising her thumbs up.   "Alright, then. If y-"   "Yes," again, Jessica interfered. "I promise, I'll call you if I wanna go somewhere or just hang out."   There were no barriers between Donghae and Jessica. His awkwardness for her completely vanished and for Jessica, she found a close friend to whom she can comfortably tell anything. Donghae kept telling her to sleep first four times during the car ride, but she said that she'd rather not., so they just told each other random tales.   It didn't take long for them to reach the Jungs' residence. Both Dongahe and Jessica exited the car at the same time, but it was typical for Dongahe to rush to her side to make sure that she'll get off of the car safely and walked behind her while walking her to the gate.   "Thanks again for bringing me home." She smiled at him as she faced him after unlocking the gate.   He smiled back at her and walked backwards to his car. "No problem. Promise to give me a call when you need to?"   She nodded her head before raising her pinky up. "I promise."   "So I'll see you on Monday."   "Yep! Drive safely to Incheon! I'll probably be asleep by the time you start driving there."   "I know. Have fun catching up on sleep! You deserve it." He smiled at her and grabbed his car door. He won't leave until he sees Jessica go inside the gate.   "I'll go in now." She opened the gate and right before she entered, there was alight that flashed from her right side that caught both of their attentions.   Donghae looked at the source of the light and it stopped right behind his car. It was a black van and the driver stepped outside and opened the door, revealing Jessica's grandparents. They thanked the driver for helping them get off of the car and asked him to park the car while they stayed outside with their granddaughter and Donghae. Donghae bowed his head upon seeing the older couple as a sign of respect.   "You kids just arrived?" Grandma Jung asked them with a smile before she hugged her granddaughter back who gave her a kiss and a hug to greet her, before doing the same to her grandfather.   They both nodded their heads and Donghae answered her grandmother. "Today was a bit hectic than usual, so we had to stay for a bit and there was a also a bit of traffic."   Grandpa Jung smiled from ear to ear and looked at his granddaughter before looking at the young lad. "It's great to see you here, Mr. Lee. Thanks for bringing Jessica home."   "It's nothing, sir." He smiled at the older man. "I assume you both had a great time with your friends tonight, sir."   "We sure did, dear! Thanks for bringing our Jessi home. Are you leaving now? Why don't you come inside?"   He smiled shyly at the older woman and refused politely. "That would be really nice, but I'm sorry, ma'am, I have to go."   Before her grandmother
