Well this should be exciting. ______ Flashback age 10   I was sitting at my desk at school staring at the leaves falling down when our teacher decided to introduce a new student. “This is Kibum Kim. Make him feel welcome.”   My eyes widened. It’s him! My best friend! He didn’t look any different from the last time I saw him. His hair was a little longer but still only just till his jaw ling and got shorter as it went up. He wore a baggy T-shirt with torn jeans. He looked scared at all the class looking at him.    “You’re going to sit next to Avilyn… right there.” She pointed at me and he looked up to see me. He recognized me too because at that instant his eyes no longer showed fear and he walked quickly to his seat.   We talked day after day and hung out every second at recess. While talking about our lives, he told me about himself.   “I hate my dad.”    I looked at him in concern. “Why? I thought you were proud of him!”   He laughed sarcastically. “I was a lot younger. I didn’t get it . Back then everyone was the same. Now I realize the poor job he's doing raisng me. He’s a doctor, he makes billions… but he doesn’t dare give me a penny. I’m stuck wearing his old clothes.” he looked down at the floor. “ I’m ok with it. At least I’m still fed. I never want to become like my father!"    Then a bully decided to pick on him. The kid was from a wealthy family.   “Hey boy.. You get your clothes from a garbage can?”   My body grew cold. I’ll never turn into some snob like that!   I really believed him.     _____________   Tic Tok Tic tok Tic Tok   I kept hearing the second hand on the clock tick. I was sitting across from Key at the café nearby where we decided to meet after Key’s photo shoot. He was wearing sunglasses dark to the core, a scarf that fashionably covered his head and neck, with a black V-neck and pants.   Its been nearly an hour and neither of us said anything.   “Why are you wearing that?” I finally asked.   He gives me a look. “So SHINee’s Key isn’t seen with YOU.”   Harsh. I look away.
