Time to do what's right,

I can't take back what I've done

but I can fix it.

KEY POV

Asthma. Something that could be deadly. 

I hate myself for what I've become, I hate myself for the things I've said. I've realized now you can't take things back, only make them better.

I'm the one that brought back her Asthma. It went from a dormant state to a severe one. 

I walk into the room and watch her as she sleeps peacefully.  It was scary watching them giving her treatment. 

Mary kept pushing me away from Avilyn. 

"GET AWAY FROM HER! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH!"

I haven't done enough. I haven't done enough to repair her.

I walk over to her and lightly touch her, afraid she might break from my touch. I always hurt the ones I love. 

She moves a little at my touch. I jerk my hand away from her. 

"Mmm?" She asks still asleep. 

"I'm sorry," I whisper. "You deserve so much better."

I lean down close to her face and lightly place my lips on her forehead.  My heart beats a little faster from our contact. 

"Key..." She mumbles.

My eyes widen. "Hmm?" I eagerly answer. Is she dreaming about me?
