"Look," Seungri said. He was walking behind TOP during a patrol. " I..I just hope that we can be friends."

TOP turned then stared at him. And his look alone could have murdered thousands. Seungri stop abruptly and gulp. Now he feels really regret following Jiyong’s advise. It had been over one month now ever since he moved into Jiyong’s house. They had become friend but not close friend. Seungri also tried to establish a friendship with others, hoping them to chip away at the animosity but only get rejected. He had no place here.  Suddenly Seungri was surprised at the pain that suddenly shot his heart.

"You supposed to be concentrating," TOP reminded harshly. "This is a patrol, not a party. We have no use for conversation in situations such as these," before stalking off.

Despite the fact that they didn't stay together, TOP was ever aware of Seungri's presence. Even he never speak to Seungri in any other way but by way of command, Seungri was always at the edge of TOP's awareness. He remembered the conversation with Jiyong a week ago where his healer friend say that he attracted to the idiot shrimp. His healer friend was obviously wrong.

"We’re being attack!"

Suddenly they were dozens of men coming out from the fog, with fiery face and ready to attack them. Everyone spread and went into a defensive mode. The battle was chaos and fiery around Seungri, who gripped his own weapon indecisively.

"Damn it, Seungri," Jiyong called out, after slashing one of the attacker. "Snap out of it."

Out of the corner of Seungri’s eyes, he saw TOP was backed into a corner, fending off two of the attackers. From one place, he saw the third attacker aim his bow directly at TOP.

"No," he cried. "TOP! Look out!" Seungri doesn’t know what possessed him but he run, faster than he had ever done in his life. If he could safe TOP’s life he would do it.

The arrow has been shot and time seems slowed. Seungri feel himself stop behind TOP's unprotected back just as the spear found its mark, in Seungri chest.

He fell to the ground in an agonised cry, clutching at the bleeding wound, his last thought was, 'I'm going to die, before everything faded into darkness.
