“This is a really, really bad idea”, I muttered to Bambam when he parked the car in the cinema's parking lot. He sighed loudly and turned his head slowly to face me. I pouted slightly.
“Just tell me what he did and I'll let you go”, he said plainly. Not until then I realized that Bambam was wearing a snazzy blouse and tight jeans. He had dressed up for a movie?
“Hold on! Why are you so dressed up? We're just going to see a movie!” I asked curiously, suddenly forgetting my bad mood. Bambam blushed immediately and turned his head to look out of the window. “What, I can't dress classily?”
“Is there something I should know?” I continued roasting him.
“No, why do you even ask?”
“Because it looks like you're going on a date, that's why.”
Bambam sighed and rubbed his neck. “Damn is it that obvious?”
Then it hit me. “Bambam do you... are you...”
“NO, it's not you!” he yelled quickly. I could hear frustration in his voice.
   “Then who is it?”
“Okay, promise me. You are not going to tell her, okay? Do you promise to keep this between you and me?”
   “I PROMISE.”
   “I kinda like Eunmi-”
   “I KNEW IT!”
“Shut up, just... don't... tell her. I will do it when the time is right.”
I raised my hand and crossed it on my chest. “I swear.”
After a brief moment of talking about Bambam's crush on Eunmi, we stepped out of the car and headed to the theater. Bambam clasped my arm and pulled me closer to him. “Don't worry about Jackson. I'll take care of him.” And I couldn't help but smile at him.

“Hey Miranda!” was the first thing I heard when we got inside the theater lobby. Bambam walked a bit further away from me, still being protectively in front of me. I tried to look for Eunmi, but the first person I saw was Mark. And behind him there was who else than Jackson. When he saw me, he rolled his eyes clearly annoyed. I gulped and walked behind Bambam. He noticed my reaction and nudged me lightly. “Ignore him”, he whispered so that no one else could hear him. I nodded and tried my best to ignore Jackson, but my eyes always found their way to him.
“Miranda, are you okay?” Eunmi asked quietly when all the boys went to buy tickets for themselves and us.
“I'm alright. Just not feeling too good... Bambam made me to come here”, I said telling half of the truth. Eunmi nodded understandingly. She flashed me an encouraging smile and patted my shoulder. “I'm sure you'll be just fine when we reach the silver screen!”
I smiled and nodded briskly. “I hope so.”
When the boys came back, Bambam handed Eunmi and I our tickets for the “Annabelle” movie. “Next time you'll buy me a ticket”, he said with a cheeky grin. We thanked him and followed everyone to the theater hall. It was kinda small (compared to the one in the city I used to live) and a bit ragged, but there were enough seats for everyone, even some places were left empty. “Do you like horror movies?” Eunmi asked when we finally found our places (Eunmi was sitting between me and Bambam). I secretly smirked at Bambam, and he shot me a death glare.
“Yeah a lot actually, what about you?” I asked. At that moment I noticed JB, Mark and Jackson climbing up the stairs. They were all watching their tickets, looking for their seats.
“Well I'm not a huge fan but they freak the hell out of me, which I think is fun every now and then you know...”
Jackson stopped at the end of the seat line where Eunmi, Bambam and I were sitting. First he looked at his ticket. Then his eyes searched for the right number from the row of seats. His eyes met mine.
“Jackson, can you see the number of the seat over there?” I heard Mark asking, pointing at my direction. I checked the number of the place and told it to Bambam. Bambam told it to Jackson. I could see it in his eyes, the frustration, when he realized his place was next to me. I couldn't help but swallow and look straight in front of me. The screen was still black, but I examined it with my eyes. The smooth surface looked like leather. It glistened slightly in the dark room. Suddenly a dark shape walked past my sight. The place next to me was seated by the guy who hated me. I glanced at Bambam. He was too busy talking to Eunmi about the movie's storyline, that he didn't even see me throwing scared looks at him. Finally I gave up and pulled my knees against my chest. It's okay, I kept telling myself. It's not that bad, just keep ignoring him and everything's alright.
When the film finally started, I couldn't really concentrate on the movie. My eyes were mindlessly staring at the screen. It was all blurry, like there would've been a shower curtain in front of my eyes. Every time Eunmi gasped, I knew something scary had happened in the movie. I tried to keep my eyes focused, but they got blurry every time I tried to concentrate. I knew there was a fire, some lady being obsessed over dolls (I wouldn't keep an army of creepy dolls in the same room with my baby, just saying), some crazy library lady and that's about all I knew about the movie. The only time I really paid attention to the movie, was when the main character went to this storage-floor (it was an apartment house) and she got stuck there and the elevator wouldn't take her to the second floor and it was all thrilling and scary. On that particular moment I happened to look at Jackson. His hand was taking all the room on the armrest thingy, and he was completely calm and still. The opposite what he always was when I saw him. Except that time in the train. Nobody looked that calm while watching a horror movie. Well, except me. And Jackson apparently.
And then he turned his head and noticed my stare. I quickly turned away. That was a bad move Miranda, I told myself. Why did you stare at him?
   You idiot.
Jackson still had his eyes on me. I gritted and kept looking at the screen. I felt his burning glare in my face. For some reason it made me feel weird? Why was he staring at me? I couldn't stand the stare any longer, and after a few minutes I quietly excused myself. Bambam tried to make an eye contact with me but I ignored him and walked out. Finally on the other side of the door I let myself breathe again. I walked out of the theater building. All the way to the parking lot. Next I don't know what happened, but I ran a block away from the building, and collapsed next to a bar. I leaned my back against the wall and closed my eyes. A breakdown, that's what happened next. I was angry and tired of this. I never wanted any of this. With tears in my eyes I took my phone out of my pocket and selected a number.
“Why are you calling me... I gave this number just for in case I accidentally forgot to pick you up in the morning and it's not morning so what is your reason to call me?”
Just hearing that sentence made me come to my senses. Why was I calling to Jiho? “I need a ride.”
“Oh really now? Sure, I'm on my way!”
   “Seriously?”
“No I'm kidding. Why would I do that?” he uttered out a dorky laughter. “Tell me why shouldn't I just hang up right now.”
I opened my mouth and nothing came out. At least I thought so.
“Are you crying? I swear I heard a sob”, Jiho asked suddenly with a different tone. He sounded... worried.
“NO, I have a flue! Just, please Jiho...” I shoo
