It was Christmas morning."Merry Christmas!" Greeted a happy Key. One by one, they rushed down to the living room. Under the tiny tree were presents. Each person received an envelope instead of a boxed present. The envelopes either had a gift card, a note or cash.  Casually everyone got a gift card with a note. SooMin gave a card to everyone except Jonghyun, vice versa. Same went with Onew and Cheonsa «Maybe I should've given him/her a card…»  The stars aligned and the four, all thought this at the same time.   The day went by gradually. Probably because no one really showed the Christmas spirit. The tense, dark and sad environment lasted throughout the day. At 7 pm the Christmas dinner started.  While eating, no one spoke. Stares, glares and avoiding of eye contact continued.  Dinner ended around 7:40. Getting up to start the dishes, Jangmi nudged SooMin and Cheonsa who were sitting next to each other. The two looked at Jangmi. JangMi glanced back at them giving them the "get- your-butts- here- now!" look.  Min and Cheonsa walked over saying they'll help with the dishes. "Yah! You guys are so uncomfortable to eat with! Why aren't you guys talking? It's so  abnormal. Just coz its going bad for you, doesn't mean that it's gonna go bad for everyone else."JangMi scolded her dongsaengs. "Mianhe~" the Dongsaengs. "I hope you guys made your final decisions. I can't take any more of the crap." JangMi said more calmly. "Haaaaaaachhhhooo!" "Yah! You have such loud sneezes!" "Nyaa-" SooMin has always had loud sneezes. You can expect her to sneeze anytime. "Mianhe~~" SooMin apologized. " WAHHHHHHHHHH! Is anyone hurt!?" Onew rushed to the sink. "Uh, no.." Cheonsa replied. " Oh oh okay.. Then." Onew said avoiding eye contact.  8 PM after dinner~~ *knock knock* "Someone's at the door." Jonghyun announced. "Aren't you gonna get it~" SooMin snapped back. " I don't think so~" Jonghyun argued back. "Ew. Be like that!" SooMin replied. "Be like what?!" "Y'know, you should really find out what really happened that night you came home drunk." SooMin marked her words and walked to the door.  "Annyeong- Jeremy! omo! Merry Christmas, what are you doing here a- with Brandon!" Jeremy was at the door. "We just felt like we should come over even if it's for a couple minutes." Jeremy kissed SooMin on the cheek. Jonghyun saw. He sent daggers of envy , eyeing Jeremy. An awkward silence rang in the room. "Um, where's Cheonsa?" Brandon asked trying to break the silence. "Oh, upstairs you can go up, first door on your right." SooMin said politely. "So.. Why are YOU here..." Jonghyun asked, breaking the staring session SooMin and Jeremy were having. "Oh um, well for SooMin's Christmas present and well, a little something else.." Jeremy replied smirking. Just then someone walked though the door. "Oh shiz, Niel!? What the hell? How many more of you beavers are gonna be coming here!?" SooMin exclaimed. Niel was another one of SooMin, Cheonsa and JangMi's friends. Or should I say, Ashley, Blessie and Jasmine's friend. "Ha, so it's SooMin now, right? Maaaaan, wassup!? And I'm only gonna be here for like a year. So uh wheres uh.. Cheonsa is it?" Niel said as he walked into the room. Jonghyun just stared blankly at the friends reuniting. He thought… «Oh, wow. More friends, specifically boys, more competition, less chances. Aish, SooMin-ah can't you be as irritating to them as you are to me? What did I do wrong?!» Upstairs… "Ble- Cheonsa you know how much I like you, but I have to tell you.. Something."Brandon said sitting down next to Cheonsa. "I'm really sorry for anything I've caused. I have to tell you something that'll help.. M-make your decision easier." he continued. "What is it?" Cheonsa asked, feeling light hearted. "I- uh- I'm gonna be exchanging to Japan, and since you have to make a decision between Onew hyu-Hyung and I, I'll need to tell you the truth: it's that last night, I searched my heart , long and hard and um, I think my feelings for you has faded away. You deserve someone better than me. This sudden exchange to Japan makes me realize that the love I felt for you wasn't as strong as I thought it was. Please, accept the truth. You'll always have a special place in my heart, right now it's buried. So tonight will be my last night, I'm heading to the airport in 3 hrs. I hope you understand." Brandon said stuttering every now and then. " Sure, I understand. I mean, I didn't really didn't know about my feelings for you either." Cheonsa said a little angry. "Great! Come meet me downstairs. I have a surprise for you." Brandon said walking out the door. "Yeah, I wouldn't want a erted, cold-hearted, playboy like you anyways" Cheonsa muttered under her breath, almost breaking into tears.  Cheonsa walked downstairs and found Niel standing there at the end of the steps. "Oh miss, heeey~ You look fine tonight. " Niel teased as he saw her walking down. "Is that- oh my gaaaah!" Cheonsa said jumping onto Niel skipping 3 steps. Niel was one of those boys you could trust, and Cheonsa trusted him to the max. As Cheonsa clinged onto Niel, he felt a tingle in his stomach. Why? Yes, it was because of another crush. Niel sat near Cheonsa, in 5th grade. He would brush up against her and they would joke around which caused them to get closer and develop feelings. Cheonsa and Neil hugged and swayed from side to side. Their touches, they made both of them feel, and reminisce they're 5th grade days. "Well, SooMin-ah here's your gift." Jeremy handed a gift to her. "Thank you. Saranghae" SooMin smiled and made a heart shape with her hands. "Your so dorky~~" Jeremy said pinching her cheeks. "Yaaaaah~ Your causing wrinkles on my face!" she said bulging her eyes out at him. "Well, uh, it's gonna be awhile til' I see you again.…" Brandon said walking out the door, signaling a goodbye. Niel and Jeremy went off and dropped him off at the airport.  Cheonsa walked upstairs and cried into her pillow but stopped because she knew ~ Niel is back. Downstairs, SooMin opened her present, Key, Taemin and Jonghyun were with her but, they soon left except Jonghyun, who was dazing into the wall. SooMin opened up the box to find a picture of her and Jeremy, on the bottom stating "BFF4Lyfe" .Jonghyun snapped out of his daze when SooMin smiled. Envy grew stronger. Jonghyun glared at SooMin. She just ignored him. She stood up but something grabbed her wrist. "Huh?" She got shocked. "Dongsaeng-ah. I'm deeply sorry. Really." Jonghyun said being serious. "What do you mean?" SooMin said pretending not to know what he was talking about. "I know what really happened on your birthday night. I remember. Can you please forgive me for being such a bad Oppa? I know this really damages my image on who you'll choose. But can you please still forgive me?" Jonghyun apologized. "Sure, I guess, I can forgive you.- Actually, I know I can. Oppa, I'm sorry I've been a brat, and for everything else, I really didn't mean anything. It was just my anger. Can you forgive me? Please?" SooMin apologized back. " I dunno, give me some time to think about it" SooMin's head went down as she heard Jonghyun. "Okay I forgive you!" Jonghyun said right away. " Hahahahahahahaha" Jonghyun still gripped SooMin's wrist, so she pulled her down to the couch and started tickling her. "DooDooDino- Stop- tickl-ing meeeeee." SooMin tried protesting. "I don't think so~" He sang back. "Is- that your- catch phrase -now?" SooMin joked back. "No~" He sang back. " Gosh- your voice- it so-" SooMin stopped talking for awhile. "Sweet, soft, wonderful?" Jonghyun gloated "Irking!" SooMin argued back. Jonghyun stopped tickling SooMin. " Yah! My voice is most certainly not irraaaaa-" Jonghyun got cut off when SooMin started tickling him. "DooDooDino-head! How do you like it now?" SooMin laughed. "I like- it - gooood." Jonghyun smirked yet still laughed and wriggled his eyebrows. "Ew." SooMin said standing up. "Just no. Don't even try Kim Jonghyun. Just haaail, to tha no." She said throwing a pillow at him laughing. Just as SooMin stepped onto the first step of the stairwell, Jonghyun rushed in front of her and faced her. "Good night~~" Jonghyun sang. "Good night." she said giving him that "get out of my way before i go ninja on you" look. " Oh sorry.." Jonghyun got the message right away. Jonghyun turned around and walked up the stairs. Half way there he turned around to face SooMin again but instead, met lips with her. Being the "erted" boy everyone thought Jonghyun was he backed away, smirked and ran around until SooMin pinned Jonghyun on the wall. "Oppa~~" She nuzzled her head on Jonghyun's neck. "Neh~" Jonghyun said. Jonghyun was feeling all tingly inside. He just wanted SooMin all to himself and that he didnt want the fact Jeremy was another choice. Her tone of voice changed " Never try that again~" SooMin left Jonghyun with a peck on the cheek. "Gosh, whata tease. Pfftt. I wasn't even gonna- Oh hell Jonghyun. I'll accept it. I love her." Jonghyun muttered under his breath. SooMin giggled. "Can she hear me?" he muttered again. "Yes I can, doodoobrain, I can." SooMin said standing from the doorway next to the wall Jonghyun was leaning on.
