“Hey guys~” Hyun Mi casually greeted her classmates.
Everyone who arrived early that day all turned to her. They saw how she was supported by Dong Woo and was halfway limping to walk into the class.
“What happened?” Il Hwa asked worried as all the girls stormed towards her.
“She twisted her ankle,” Dong Woo answered as he helped her to sit down on her chair.
“Aw, Dong Woo oppa, you’re so sweet for taking care of her like this!” Rae Jin said.
“Ya! You have a boyfriend,” Sang Ri nudged her. “Kim Sung Gyu?”
“Yeah, I was just saying,” Rae Jin shrugged.
“Don’t you guys have PE scheduled for today?” Dong Woo asked as he saw the girls nodding. He turned back to his sister with a stern look. “You’re not gonna join this one!” “But-” Hyun Mi was about to protest, but watched Dong Woo approach their teacher who just happened to walk in at that time. Baek Hyun was just calmly watching everything and saw how Sang Ri’s attempt to get out of PE as well with an excuse to accompany Hyun Mi failed miserably. He got up from his seat and walked to the white board. Grabbing the black marker, he started to explore his creative side.
A few students started to snicker seeing his drawing on the board.
Mr. Kang turned around and faced the white board. He saw a weird drawing of himself trying to kiss a poorly drawn woman. A caption was written underneath: Mr. Kang Gary trying to seduce Ms. Song Ji Hyo. Only on Mondays. “Ha..ha… Very funny,” he uttered with no excitement.
The whole class had seen the drawing as well and started to laugh.
“This actually hurt my feelings. Ms. Song rejected me once again,” Mr. Kang said. “Whose brilliant idea was it to do this?”
Baek Hyun proudly raised his hands with a smirk on his face.
“Should’ve known it was you,” Mr. Kang said. “Do you still think it’s funny if you get detention? No PE for you, sir!”
“What?!?! That drawing was pretty funny!” Baek Hyun yelled as he couldn’t help but grin.
Hyun Mi just gave him a look and shook her head. He tends to get in trouble a lot.
As Mr. Kang Gary’s class ended, the other students quickly changed their clothes to get ready for Mr. Kim Jong Kook’s PE class. Hyun Mi just sat at a nearby bench while watching them have their fun. It was boring not being able to participate.
“Hey~” Baek Hyun appeared as he casually sat down next to her.
“I can’t believe what you did,” Hyun Mi told him with a laugh. “You know Mr. Kang’s reaaaally sensitive when it comes to Ms. Song.”
“I know. That’s why I did it,” Baek Hyun said. “I can’t possibly let you wait by yourself in boredom.”
“Aw, that’s why you did it?” Hyun Mi couldn’t help but smile as she gave him a playful push. “I’m fine by myself. If you use your aegyo, maybe they’d let you join PE again.”
“My aegyo only works for women,” Baek Hyun said, automatically showing his aegyo to her. “Besides, I did see your bored face before.”
“Busted,” Hyun Mi muttered. “But I thought PE was your favorite subject.”
“Well, I guess friends are more important,” Baek Hyun said, as if reciting a line from a movie.
Hyun Mi laughed as she was actually very thankful for his presence. “So what happened anyway? How'd you hurt your ankle?” Baek Hyun asked.
Hyun Mi immediately turned to him with a wide smile, remembering what happened the night before.
“Uhm, maybe I don’t wanna know.” Baek Hyun already regretted asking.
“You won’
