MISS COLORFUL - Epilogue
Seven Incarnations.

Dear Reader,
Perhaps, you can say that it’s all ancient history after that fateful night...
We found Kim and Gerald the next morning lying on the floor, at the state of undress, with the biggest smile on their faces.
Gerald, got his job back. The media coverage following his Strike for Love made his boss reconsider his decision. Eventually, he took him back and gave him a raise.
Kim is at her most radiant nowadays. We had a big party at her house the other day and we burned all of her dark clothes in a celebratory exorcism. There were no more need for them (the dresses, I mean). She only now has bright dresses to wear...and with good reason.
In a few months time, Kim will be wearing the very dress that symbolizes every woman’s eternal happiness...a long, white wedding gown.
Meanwhile, Sam and Angel eventually got married that Valentine’s day. Only to divorce by March. Rumor has it that they are getting back together again.
Joross, Mimi, and I spent our days in the shop hoping we will have the same sort of luck as Kim had. Though the flower business is booming, our love lives, unfortunately were not. To this day, we are still waiting. I guess it’s hard to please people like us who is in the business of love. Until we can dissociate love from all its complications...more like Kim and Gerald did...we are fated to be singularly blessed.
But that is just where things should be for now, because we are all happy, despite our marital woes or lack thereof. More importantly, we are really happy for Kim and Gerald, who are our dearest friends and our deepest inspiration...

Asked once, why he had this trouble reading Kim, despite the fact that she wore her emotions with the color of her dress. Gerald said he had this innate difficulty of distinguishing green, which was the color of jealousy; over red, which was the color of love...
He revealed to us later that he was actually born...COLOR BLIND.
Nowadays, they had found a much better way to find out Kim’s mood. They called it the kiss meter. All Gerald had to do is to kiss her and he would be able to gauge what her mood was going to be. It hardly varies, though, I tell you...because all this time, Kim is very much HAPPY as the day goes by.
Well, that is it for me. I shall leave you this with one happy thought: FINALLY, I can sleep.
I shall pray though tonight that all of us will be as lucky in love as these two kindred souls.
Till next time,
XOXO
