She stood on the street waiting for him to come. He said he had a surprise and she was hoping to god that the deer faced boy didn’t plan on leaving her in the cold while she waited. She pulled the coat around her tightly as she glared at the empty street watching and waiting until finally…

“Luhan! What on earth!?”

“Surprise! I bought a motorcycle! Don’t you think it suits me?” he grinned, leaning against the sleek black motorbike looking awfully silly with that pretty face of his.

“You look like an idiot.” She grinned as his face fell and he gaped at her.

“What? But it’s all cool and macho!”

“With a face prettier than mine, I think I suit the bike more than you do Luhan.”

“Aww nuts,” he looked down before brightening up “so, shall we go for a ride?”

She looked up and down the empty street, it was cold as winter was about to set in. It hadn’t started snowing just yet, but the chilly winds were beginning to bite at her skin. She pursed her lips in thought wondering if it would be okay to drive in this weather. Not that she was against the idea, just that the cold…

“So I’m kinda not giving you a choice here,” Luhan cut in, unwinding the muffler around his neck and draping it around hers “in case your majesty is worried about the cold.” He quipped, ruffling her hair and pressing a kiss on her forehead. It was a pretty muffler, simple yellow with a black christmassy pattern on it. She held the end of it to her face to feel it’s softness as Luhan beckoned her to the motorbike.

Somehow he mounted the bike and she clambered on behind him.

“The waist. That’s what you’re supposed to hold.” He commented.

“Luhan, I’m not stupid.”

“Just thought you needed to know.” He grinned, handing her his helmet before revving the motorbike in the silliest manner (funny faces included). She gripped tightly onto his waist and pressed against his surprisingly built back.

And off they went. They drove on and on and she knew not where; but, she enjoyed the soft bumps on the road (Luhan enjoyed it more because she gripped tighter when he pulled some funny prank). They weaved through traffic as well as empty streets until they reached some desolate part of the Han River that seemed pretty enough for the two of them to dismount.

Luhan pulled the bike under a tree and looked at it proudly while she thought it was time to examine the vehicle that had brought them there. After all, there were alone from prying eyes and it was peaceful enough for her to begin running her fingers over the new seat, the headlamps, the gears and handles with awe.

“Whatever you do, don’t touch the muffler.” Luhan warned as she bent down to take a look at the engine. She was generally smart, but around Luhan, her brain slowed down. He might have been rather girlish by appearance, but he was all man at heart. He was strong, possessive, and mind you, a rather good kisser so when he told her not to touch the muffler all that came to her mind was :

“What? This?” she asked, she touched the muffler of the bike and drew her hand back due to the burn and let out hiss as Luhan panicked.

“Idiot! What are you doing?!” he yelled dropping down beside her and holding onto her hand, blowing air on it, like it would make a difference.

“Sorry! My brain stopped working for a second.” She grimaced, as Luhan inspected the slightly burnt skin.

“What do I do with you?” he groaned as she very innocently provided him with an answer.

            “Kiss it better?”

A silly grin lit of Luhan’s face as he cupped her cheeks.

“Why didn’t you say so before?” he chuckled before sealing their lips together in a sweet kiss. His hand reaching over too grab hold of her muffler to gently pull her closer and her hands tangled in his hair. The burn somehow was forgotten as the two shared their sweet moment together.

All was peaceful, cool and calm.

Including the muffler that had cooled over time.
