He didn’t know what had gotten into her when she tugged at his sleeve. Sure, summer was supposed to begin and yet it was freezing cold. Her eyes looked larger than normal as she looked at him pleadingly. Donghae was confused.

“What’s wrong?” he began, only to have her bury her face in his chest, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace. He was startled by the sudden movement but wasn’t against it as he pulled her closer as she settling down on the couch, resting between his legs.

He was warm, just like sunshine. He smelled like all things she deemed godly as he wrapped himself around her like a comforting blanket. His chin resting on her head as she pressed closer to him, almost like she was trying to merge them into one. His arms moved over the dips and curves of her sides as she clung to him, breathing him in.

His lips pressed against her forehead, as she sighed in contentment, looking up to meet his eyes. Another kiss on her forehead and a smile spread across her lips and her eyes slowly shut. His lips met her eyelids softly, and she sighed again. Their lips met softly, gently as he reveled in the softness of her lips against his. He pulled away to kiss her again, feeling her hands trail up his chest and behind his neck before tangling themselves in his hair. He breathed heavily as they parted, the chill long forgotten. The smile still lingered on her face and he was certain his face was reflecting the same emotion.

He could feel their breaths mingling as she cuddled closer to him. She was so close and he couldn’t help but kiss her again.
