“So, how did your classes go, back there?” Jessica asked in English as she, her sister, and Tiffany dined at one of the lavish restaurants inside the mall where KTY was now holding his fan event and the audition for finding his other half of the duo unit.

Krystal swallowed her piece of meat before replying her sister, “Well, I’m usually sleeping, unnie…” A sheepish smile graced Krystal’s face as she slurped her noodles, earning a raised brow from her older sister. Tiffany’s chuckle rang beside Jessica as the older Jung took in her younger sister’s words.

Then, as if realization had hit her, Jessica leaned forward, eyes widened at her sister in surprise, “Seriously?! We’ve wasted thousands to millions of dollars to get your into that prestigious school just for you to sleep in your classes?! Yah, Jung Soojung-”

“Unnie, calm down. You’re going to make a scene.” Krystal pointed out.

Jessica leaned back into her seat upon seeing curious eyes staring at her. She fixed her clothes before resuming on stabbing her knife into the meat. Krystal flinched at her sister’s action, knowing full well that Jessica was mad at her. Tiffany, on the other hand, resumed her meal quietly, afraid to add fuel to Jessica’s anger.

“Unnie, I’m doing well in my studies…” Krystal blurted almost in a whisper as she ate.   

Jessica pretended not to hear her as Krystal tentatively glanced at her older sister, a pout evident on her lips. From her peripheral, Jessica saw her sister’s cute expression, inwardly chuckling at her younger sister’s attempt in appeasing her. The older Jung wasn’t that bothered in the least, she was rather amused and glad to have her sibling back to her side.

“Unniee….” Krystal’s whine caught both ladies’ attention. Krystal pouted once Jessica and Tiffany turned their sights on her. “I’m doing good in my classes, honest!”

Jessica cocked a brow while Tiffany’s eyes formed into inverted crescents. “I’d want proof on that, Jung Soojung.” Jessica had said before she resumed her meal, transferring some of the vegetables and meat from her plate onto her sister’s. “Now, eat up. You’ve gotten skinny since I last saw you.”

The sweet gesture had Krystal beaming a smile towards her sister while Tiffany simply chuckled at Jessica’s failed attempt at indifference toward her sister. Tiffany patted Krystal’s hand, her smile widening as she assured the younger Jung, “Don’t worry. That’s how Jessi shows how much she missed you…”

The two younger girls laughed as Jessica pouted at their connivance. But then, she also joined in the mirth after having missed this moment. Somehow, she just needed Yoona to complete this picture and they’ll be having the time of their lives.

“Hey, you girls up for noraebang after this?” Tiffany asked, giddy over the fact that they would be spending quality time together. Krystal’s eyes lit up at the suggestion and Jessica couldn’t help but agree to the plan.

They both eagerly talked as they finished their meal with both older girls occasionally asking Krystal of what she had been up to while she was in school. Krystal had been glad of the attention she had received from the two older girls and she was more than happy to impart her experiences of London and of England as a whole.

“So, who’s going first?” Jessica asked as she plopped down onto the couch whilst the two younger girls began browsing the song book. Tiffany nonchalantly sat beside the older Jung, who leaned her back with her arms outstretched on the back rest.

The young doctor noticed the weary face of her cousin and proceeded to ask of Jessica’s condition, “Jessi, you look tired. You sure you want to continue this?”

Jessica met her companions’ concerned gazes and she weakly smiled at the two other occupants of the room. “Yeah. It’s been a while since I’ve spent time with you, kids.”

Krystal, who was occupying the space beside her sister, frowned. “Yah, I’m not a kid anymore, unnie.”

“Anyway, are you going to sing, Jessi?” Tiffany asked as she handed the song book to the older Jung. Jessica simply grinned before taking the book from the Hwang as Krystal leaned forward to grab the mic and handed it to her sister, who casted her a look of confusion in return.

“You’re singing first, unnie.” Krystal demanded as she shoved the mic to her sister. Jessica simply took hold of the device before she decided on the song. Pressing the number combinations on the remote, the eldest Jung stood up much to the delight of her two audiences.

Jessica picked an upbeat song by Kesha. She turned to face her audience as the song began and both Tiffany and Krystal cheered at Jessica’s choice. The three ladies were always rowdy when it comes to noraebang, so long as they are in an enclosed space without the prying eyes of society. They, along with Yoona, would spend hours singing, dancing, and doing silly stuff to loosen up from their usual routines. It had been commonplace when they were younger, but nowadays, everything seemed to be based off of schedules.

Jessica swayed to the music as she approached Tiffany, leaning to meet her eyes before she moved to Krystal who was basically fan-girling over her older sister. The older Jung pointed at her sister and sat on the younger Jung’s lap as she sung her next lines.

Jessica tugged at her younger sister’s buttoned blouse before playfully popping Krystal’s first button. She then stood up to do a simple and lazy yet y dance routine before turning her attention to Tiffany.

Tiffany swallowed the lump that blocked as Jessica straddled her lap amidst Krystal’s squeals. The young doctor couldn’t breathe as Jessica leaned forward, whispering her lyrics whilst keeping her mic in place.

In her periphery, Krystal stood and danced in her usual dorky manner. Tiffany only managed to bring herself back to reality when the younger Jung yanked her sister off Tiffany and coaxed Jessica to dance with her.

‘These Jungs are going to be the death of me…’ Tiffany thought to herself as she recomposed herself. They weren’t high in alcohol, but the chaos in the room was already almost at its limits. Tiffany only shook her head at the two sisters’ antics before she stood up and joined her cousins in their crazy world.

Tiffany knew she needed this release somehow, after all that she’d been through. Jessica had finally admitted her love for her despite her confession of sleeping with Taeyeon happening before the Jung managed to return her love. The Hwang now wonders what might happen in the future. There’s HQ to worry about and that daunting message sent to her by her Code.

Nonetheless, Tiffany found herself nestled between the two Jungs as they sang their hearts out and danced without a care to the world. When the song ended, the three ladies were breathless at the ruckus they had caused.

“Jackson Hwang should go next.” Krystal said as she passed the other mic to Tiffany. A playful smile crept on Krystal’s face before she said, “You both should sing a duet!”

Jessica and Tiffany’s eyes widened at the youngest Jung’s suggestion. Bon Jovi’s ‘Heaven’ was already starting to play and the two older girls had no way to back out from singing it.
