He looked over to her, eyes worried at the one sitting on the passenger seat beside him. Im Yoona has been awfully quiet ever since she had gotten into the car. Something was wrong and Yuri knows it was related to her meeting with the Jung Empire’s lawyer. He had wanted to ask his girlfriend about it. But seeing that she was currently in need of time alone, the Kwon had brushed it off.

Five years into the relationship and Yuri knows his girlfriend inside and out. They were practically soul mates who understood each other and right now, the supermodel is currently using this knowledge to his advantage.

Despite the silence and the lack of interaction between them, Yuri knew where Yoona would want to go to cool off. His car turned right before it stopped at a parking lot. His eyes once again landed on his girlfriend after skillfully parking the car. Yoona was deep in thought, eyes staring listlessly outside the tainted window.

Without saying a word, the Kwon got out of the car and planted himself right outside Yoona’s side of the car. He leaned forward and stared right into the tainted window, seeing Yoona’s startled look from inside as his face came closer to the glass. Smiling at his girlfriend’s reaction, he straightened himself and opened the door for her.

Minutes later, they stumbled into Yuri’s house. The young actress plopped herself onto the couch, releasing a sigh as she laid there, her arm draped over her eyes.

She was surprised when she felt a pair of hands lift her up. She looked to see Yuri smiling at her, carrying her into the bedroom. He gingerly placed her on the bed. Yoona felt a pair of lips on her forehead.

“Rest, Yoong.” Yuri whispered to his girlfriend after pulling away. He then proceeded to get up when a hand gripped this arm.

“Yul, don’t go. Keep me company.”

He smiled at her cute pout as he relented, setting himself beside her. Yoona clung to him and nuzzled her head onto his chest, relishing in her boyfriend’s scent and steady heartbeat.

Yuri returned the embrace as he lied down beside the young actress. It was then he realized that he was tired as well. He closed his heavy eyes and resigned to sleep. The couple had mutually decided to set everything aside. For now, it’s sleeping time.

Target Facility

Agent Black ran because his life depended on it. Gun shots rang and bullets zipped past him, barely missing him by inches. He sprinted through the walkways before making an abrupt turn to the right. He opened the door to the control room and found his partner standing in the midst of ten men who were lying on the floor, unconscious.

He marveled at the feminine figure clad in black, her back turned to him. Agent Purple was examining the activities within the facility. The place was in a lockdown and soon, everything will be overrun by their enemies. 

“You’re here.” Agent Purple remarked as she turned.

Black nodded, holding out a black USB that was the object of their dangerous mission before putting it back into his pocket.

“Let’s go!” The male agent said as he took Jessica’s hand.

They were headed for the other door when the guards stumbled into the room, guns aimed at both agents. Jessica and her companion froze. They were clearly surrounded as another set of guards filed through the door from whence Agent Black had come from.

“Hands in the air,” one of the guards demanded.

Agent Black reluctantly raised his hands as he eyed the female agent with him. Jessica unwillingly followed the demand. Her gaze shifted from the guards to her partner. There were about ten men in the room, all armed with handguns and she could see them sporting pocket knives underneath their black coats. If they were to escape in one piece, they’re going to have to wait for the right moment.

“Give me the files you stole,” one of the senior guards ordered, handing out his hand while pointing his gun at Agent Black.

The male agent slowly lowered his hand to his pocket. As the guard came near him to obtain the gadget, Black suddenly shoved his elbow onto the man’s stomach.

“Purple, run!” Black shouted as he pushed the man away.

Jessica’s breath hitched. Adrenaline surged through her veins as she followed her partner’s lead. An array of shots rang after them. They sprinted out of the room all the while fighting off the guards that blocked the way, slamming the door after passing through the threshold. The combat skills they’ve learned from HQ have paid off. The two agents were unstoppable at melee combats. Jessica had just darted away from the door when the bullets ripped through. She knew they were in grave danger as the alarm sounded.

She followed her fellow agent’s lead and they stumbled upon a utility room just as another set of guards ran past them. The room was small, almost unable to fit a person. It was cramped with cleaning equipment and it was dark and warm. Jessica found herself pressed against her fellow agent’s body.

They could feel each other’s sweat seep through their clothes as they tried to catch their breaths, careful not to make too much noise. Jessica remembered what had transpired before all this commotion. She remembered how Agent Black had followed h
