Kris opened the door and music filled our ears. The members that were inside didn't even notice us come in. They were divided into 2 groups, both working on something different. Kai and Lay was helping some of the members with new choreography for what seemed like a new introduction to their performances. I've never heard it, so it was a pleasant surprise. On the other side of the big room, Kyungsoo, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, and Luhan were practicing their vocals. I could see the exhaustion on each of their faces while their skin was sheen with sweat. Although tired, you can see, almost feel, the determination and motivation that each member gave off. 

As we both followed Kris in, the boys finally saw us and broke into warm smiles. They stopped practicing and Kai turned off the music.

"Alright, let's take a break for now." Kai said to s. Some of them collapsing to the floor in exhaustion. "We'll go grab some drinks." Kai stated and left the practice room with Sehun. 

As Kai looked at us, he bowed his head in a small greeting and left. As he passed me, he gave me a small wink. Katy must have saw and gave me a small nudge. "Be right back Noonas!" Sehun said and scurried behind Kai.

We made our way to the middle of the room and sat down with the members that were sprawled on the floor. The vocal line made their way over as well and took a seat next to us as well. 

"Hey kiddos, you guys working hard?" Katy asked.

"Jie Jie, you made it!" Tao shouted and quickly made his way in between Katy and I. He linked our arms and pulled both of us closer to him giggling like a child. 

"Ya! Find your own noona!" Baekhyun yelled and quickly put his head on my lap. He grabbed my hand that was linked with Tao's and placed it on his head. I laughed and gave him a knock on the head then began playing with his hair. Chanyeol followed suit and laid down on Katy. Katy and I looked at one another and shook our heads at their childish antics. Tao pouted and immediately crawled over to Kris. 

"Don't look at me, I can't help you." Kris put his hands up when Tao started whining. 

"You get 5 minutes, Bacon. Tao I'll give you one next." Tao immediately perked up and gave me a bright smile. 

"Hey." a familiar husky voice said and sat down next to me. I look over to see Kyungsoo's big orbs looking at me. His head covered by a black hat. How can someone be so attractive even when they're not doing anything?

"Hey yourself." I smiled. "Don't tell me you want one too?", and looked down at a closed eye Baekhyun relishing in the head massage. 

"No, it looks like your hands are full." Kyungsoo chuckled. 

"It's not a big deal, I don't min---"

"--Jie Jie! You and Gege have the same hat?!" Tao realized and looked back and forth between our hats. Everyone's conversation came to a halt and looked at us. 

"It's our couple beanie." Kris said and grinned at me. 

"C-couple beanie?" Kyungsoo stammered and looked at me. I shook my head no. Kyungsoo's mouth opened as if he were going to say something more but stopped. 

"More like a coincidence", I muttered. I knew the more I denied it, the more Kris would drag on about it hoping to get a rise out of me.  

"Yes, couple beanie. Right girlfriend?." Kris trying once more and winked at me. The other members scoffed and went back to their conversations knowing Kris's usual antics. I rolled my eyes in response to his attempt. Kai and Sehun came back with their hands full of water bottles and distributed it to the members.  After giving Tao a head massage, Kai told the members that break was over
