“Since we have no time to go somewhere else… I’ll just walk you home~” Chunji sang.

“Tsk! It’s all your fault we didn’t get to go somewhere.” I muttered.

“So, you wanted to go somewhere with me?” He grinned.

“N-no!” I stuttered. “T-that’s not what I meant! Psh!”

“I don’t believe you.” He stuck a tongue out at me.

“Whatever.”

While we he was walking me home, we were conversing:

“Prom is near.” He blurted.

“I figured.” I let out a small laugh.

“So… who do you plan to go with?”

“I don’t know!”

“Tsk! Well you should know! Who knows? Maybe he’s here, right beside you, right now.” He elbowed me, as he laughed at his silly joke.

“WOW! Really Chan Hee? Really?” I laughed.

Random topics were inserted in our conversation, until we finally reached my home.

“This is your house?” He asked.

“Yup.” I beamed. “Right here.”

“Aww… “ He pouted. “Bye then~” He waved at me, and I waved back. “So… I’ll get going now…”

“Yeah… sure. Bye!”

“Bye.” He gazed at me.

“Er… you’re not leaving?”

“Well, I said ‘Bye’, didn’t I?”

“Yeah, you did. But, you’re not leaving.” I laughed.

“Damn! You hate me so much, you want me to leave already?”

“Maybe~” I sang.

“Tsk! You’re mean.” He pouted. “Bye then!” He ruffled my hair and waved good bye.

 I watched him walk further and further, until his figure slowly disappeared.

Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder. “Hey.”

I faced him. “Jinyoung-oppa…”

“Hey. You and Chan Hee… are you guys… uhm… together?”

“Huh? Ah! N-no! No! It’s not like that!!” My cheeks flushed.

“It seems like it though… The two of you look like you’re dating…”

“Psh! Tsk! Noo!”

“Right…” He narrowed his eyes.

“What brought you here by the way oppa?” I beamed.

“I wanted to visit you.”

“Ohhh~” My face lit up. “Then, let’s walk to the playground!”

“Aiigooo~” He ruffled my hair. “Let’s go.”

We went to the playground arm in arm like siblings. The time, we reached our destination, we skidded to a stop. I ran to the swing and began swinging.

“You never change.” He snickered.

“Why? Swings are the best!”

“Of course it is.” He smiled. He walked and went behind me to give me a gentle push. “You swing, I’ll push.”

“You’re awesome oppa!”

“I know.”

“CONCEITED!!” I teased.

“What? No! Is it bad to acknowledge the truth?!”

“Tsk! Whatever.” I laughed. “Higher!”

“Okay~” He pushed. “So… prom’s near.”

“Yeah… it is … isn’t it?” I let out a small smile.

“Who do you plan to go with?” He casually asked.

“Er…” Didn’t Chunji ask me the same thing? “I don’t know… How about you?”

“You.”

“Me?”

“Yeah, can’t I?”

“Er…” I pondered. “I don’t know…”

“Why? You want to go to prom with Chan Hee instead?!”

“N-no! Er.. I mean… Maybe… but… I’m not sure!! Don’t ask me!!”

“Okay okay! I’m sorry!” He laughed. “But will you?” He asked. “Will you go to prom with me?”

I-I…I don’t know… I want to go to prom with Chunji, but I can’t say no to oppa…

“I…”

“Please?”

“As friends?” I asked.

His expression dimmed. “If that’s how you want it to be…Then, okay.”

“Then, if it’s as friends… I don’t see why not.” I answered.

He let out a small smile. “Thank you.”

“No problem.” I said half-heartedly. “Oppa… did you mean it?”

“Mean what?”

“T-that… you er… like me…”

“Yeah… I did. And I still like you.” He admitted. “But... I think you're starting to like C—Never mind.” He stopped talking as soon as he realized he was saying too much. “_______-ah... Don’t feel burdened. I’m not asking you to feel the same way anyways…” He smiled faintly.

Sorry for the boring chapter ;_____; BTW, Chunji wants to go to prom with you  too ;) But what to do? Jinyoung got to ask you first… :(
