He locked eyes with me, "I wanted to spend time with you..." He let out a soft smile.

“You wanted to spend time with me?” I laughed. “You are so un—“

“Unpredictable.” He grinned. “I know~” He winked at me.

“EW. Don’t you dare wink at me!”

“Hahaha! What have I gotten us into…” He giggled.

“Let’s clean?”

“Sure.” He beamed. “Oh! And _______!” He called out as I was walking away. “This time, …I’ll be sure to help you.” He let out a soft smile.

Lee Chan Hee… Don’t be this nice to me… I’m afraid that my dream will eventually come true… I fear that I might actually end up falling for you…

I paused. “Ah… yeah… Thanks. I think…”

He chuckled. “Come on!” He said as he ran and started cleaning.

For long minutes, we were cleaning classrooms and running errands. We were almost finished. All that’s left was for us, was to mop classroom 214.

I was carrying a bucket with soapy water. I had a mistake of filling it too much, so the bucket was not only heavy, it was also overflowing with water.

Unfortunately, I slipped. I ended up dropping the bucket, and I landed on the floor on my . “Ouch!” I whined and caught Chunji’s attention. “Omo! _______!!” He ran to me.

“Are you alright?!” He helped me up, as he dusted off my shirt. “Are you hurt??” I can sense concern in his voice.

I locked eyes on him. “Ah… Yeah… Thanks…” I said not noticing the bleeding scratch on my palm.

I reached out for the bucket but, “Ow!” I cried. I immediately pulled my hand away.

I saw Chunji’s eyes widened in shock as he was looking at my wounded hand. “I-I’ll … Leave the work to me…” He offered.

“No! No! It’s okay!” I smiled as I hid my hand away from him.

“No. It’s alright.” He said in a firm tone. “Here.” He handed me his handkerchief. “Wipe the blood off your palm. I hate blood by the way, so wash the handkerchief before returning it to me.”

He was about to walk away but I grabbed his arm (with my other hand). “Chunji…”

“Yeah?” He turned to face me.

“T-thank you…” I smiled at him.

He smiled back, “You’re welcome.” He whispered as he ran his fingers through my hair.
