"Staring at me?" Chunji raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"Oh Please! Like I would ever!" I argued.

"I caught you looking at me babe." He grinned. "No need to deny it." He winked.

I pretended to barf. Eww Chunji... EWW. To think that later I have to clean the covered court with you again... My life... how terribly sad. 

“Don’t you babe me!” I glared.

“Tsk! I know you like it.” He smirked as he crossed his arms.

Arghh!! This guy is driving me insane!! Please!! God let me kill him!!

After class, I was forced to stay and clean the covered court. Chunji and I walked side by side to the covered court. I felt his eyes on me.

He opened the door, and let me go in first. Okay… What are you?? Pretending to be a gentleman? Well, quit it! No one’s here, you don’t have to pretend. I rolled my eyes at him, but still said, “Thank you…”

I was going to pick up the basketball, but Chunji swiftly took it before I did. My eyes widened. “What are you—“

“Let me.” He said with eyes avoiding me. “Let me do it for you…” He looked at me and smiled. I felt my heart flutter. He gazed at me for a moment, then blinked. He quickly looked away, and then he cleared his throat.

“Uh…” I scratched my head. “You don’t have to.” I reached out for the basketball in his hand, but he held it away from me.

“No, it’s okay.” He said. “I just… I don’t want you to think that I’m not making any effort to try and get along with you.” He softly smiled. I gaped at him.

“Ah! I-I mean… It’s.. I mean… you… I… Uhm… I left you to do all the work before! I’m a good-looking—Er I mean good person, so I’ll help you today!” He explained.

“Ah… Okay…” I scratched my head. What’s up with him…

We finally finished with our work! I stretched and let out a big smile. “Finally~” I smiled. Chunji glanced at me. I glared as I caught him look at me again.

“What’s wrong with you?” I asked.

“Nothing. Why?” He raised an eyebrow, then smirked. “Worried about me dear?”

“Yuck. Don’t dear me.” I said. “And I am not worried about you. Like I would ever!” I stuck my tongue out at him.

“Suree…” He winked at me. I felt my heart skip a beat.

“W-whatever!” I turned beet-red. “I’ll get going. Hmmppf!” I stuck my tongue out at him again. He raced to me.

“Let me walk you home.”

I gaped at him. “Are you not feeling well??? Or are you perhaps, mentally ill?!”

“No!” He defended. “I’m healthy!”

“Sure…” I sarcastically said. “Then leave me alone.” I walked away.

“Geez! What’s wrong with being friendly?!” He muttered. “I was trying to befriend you!!” He shouted from behind.

I didn’t look back, but I couldn’t help but smile. “I guess he’s not that bad after all…” I whispered and blushed.
