He loosened the tie that was choking him since morning. He took it off and dropped it on the floor, sighing, he jumped to his bed. He was feeling extremely tired from the works since just now, meeting here and there non-stop. His legs were sore already, he needed to rest. He put one arm on his forehead and closed his eyes, resting for a bit before going to shower.

“Oppa! Wait! Oppa!” His heart broke every time he heard her calling him to stop from going. The speed from the car increase rapidly, leaving her far from him and he saw her tiny, sore body fall on the cold street. His heart was torn with the sight. He knew she had no energy left. The smoke from the car blurred his view but he knew her tiny, cold hand was reaching o-

“YERIM-AH!”

His body jolted up immediately, sweats were forming on his forehead, tears slowly falling down from his eyes. His heart were beating fast behind his ribcage, almost making him cannot breathe. He wrapped his face with his palms and cried for God knows how many times already. The burden he carried all this while started to become heavier, which displeased him in anyway. He let out a sighed, a very, very heavy sighed. “Yerim-ah, mianhae.”

It was almost past midnight and yet they are still wide awake. Ghost, what more you can say about them? Sungjae stretched his sore body after sitting for God knows how long and dropped his book to the empty, dark library floor. “You know what?”

Yerim stopped from reading and looked up to meet eyes with him. “I suddenly feel thirsty after all those readings,” he chuckles and stood up. He held out his right hand to her, “let’s go find something to drink,” he winked playfully earning a small laughed from her. She closed her book and hugged it
