.. The oldest people on this word were alive on the ship. But they seem to see the AI in a different light. A domineering bunch with rules their grandparents were all to quick to parrot. Rules from big decisions like the choosing of life partners, to simple decisions about when to wash their hands. 

 

And all the rules had to be passed down by word of mouth. There was no written copy ever produced until long after touchdown. 

 

Can we ever feel completely safe with that sort of overprotective behaviour? ...
