The Fall of a Princess...Side B
His Vow vs. His Loyalty
Golf watched silently at everything that unfolded. He turned around. Broken...angry. How could she do that to him?
Min kept his word and stuck with Niddie. "Don't you have a date?" Niddie asked as they sat together.
Min turned to her. "Yeah..."
"Well...shouldn't you be with her?" Niddie asked.
Min grinned. "It's just my sister and mom. My dad couldn't make it tonight so I had to come in his place. You know if it were up to me I wouldn't be here."
"But this is where all the hot girls are at." Niddie said grinning at him.
Min smiled. "Yeah but I think I want a simple girl. These high maintenance girls are kinda annoying. Hey wanna dance?" He quickly changed the subject.
Suprisingly, Niddie nodded and Min took her to the dance floor. She put her hand on his shoulder and never realized how muscular he has gotten. Too bad she only saw him as a brother. If not, she'd probably have the hugest crush on him...and this would be her dream moment. Niddie poked him in the cheek. "Thank you for always showing up at the right time Min."
He poked her cheek back, "Yeah well one day some other guy is going to be your knight in shining armor...I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up that role to just anyone yet."
After about three dances they went back to their seats, as Min lead the way Golf stopped Niddie. "Hey!" Min said.
Niddie turned to Min, "It's ok I'll meet you back at our seats ok?" Min looked at her to make sure it was ok, she nodded and he left them alone.
"So you weren't even going to say hi to me all night?" Golf asked, looking disappointed.
Niddie looked at him, this was her first time tonight getting a real glimpse of him. He wore an all white outfit with black shirt. He was handsome with his bangs parted to the side. The way his lips pouted, she wanted to kiss them again. She could smell his sweet intoxicating smell and it was enough to drive her crazy.
"You looked busy. I didn't want to bother you. Besides I wanted to see if I had my own buffet table here." She said curtly. She wanted to be so angry and mean to him, especially after the incident in the cafeteria, but she couldn't bring herself to do it anymore. Especially the way his face fell after that last statement.
"Yeah about that...I...So is Min your date?" He asked quickly.
[No, she answered in her head] but "Yes" came out instead.
"Oh...," he said sadly. She mentally kicked herself.
"But Kwan looks beautiful tonight.." Niddie said to remind him that he had a date as well.
"Yeah...wanna dance?" He asked, ignoring the fact that he was there with Kwan.
"I don't know...I mean Min and Kwan might not like it..."
Before she could say anything else Golf was pulling her towards the dance floor, and she wasn't fighting it. She didn't want to anymore. She wanted him and she wanted him to know it. Another slow song played and Golf pulled her close to him, his right arm around her waist and his left hand holding her hand. He looked at her lips and remembered their kiss. He grinned.
"What are you smiling about?" Niddie asked.
"Nothing, you look great by the way."
"Not too bad for a fat girl huh?"
Golf sighed. "I'm serious. I know I say stupid crap...but...I don't mean any of it. I'm sorry, I'm a big jerk what can I say?" Niddie didn't respond and they just kept dancing.
"Who is Golf dancing with Kwan?" One of her friends asked her. Kwan turned around and stared at the dance floor. Golf was twirling some girl around on the dance floor...and they actually looked too good with each other. The way they smiled at each other made Kwan sick to her stomach.
She looked closer..."That little !" She exclaimed once she realized that Golf was dancing with Niddie.
They started to waltz across the floor, she felt like a princess dancing in the arms of her prince. His pretty boy face smiing at her and making her feel like she was the only one in his life. Making her feel important. Niddie was happy. Once the song ended she didn't realize that everyone had stopped and was watching them. The
