A Chance for Freedom
His Vow vs. His Loyalty
The next day Niddie was still pissed off and ended up just staying in her room, Emi brought her food and watched as Niddie nibbled off pieces of it and gave up. The day after Niddie couldn't stand it anymore. Everywhere in the house she went, Mike and Yunhee were next to each other, Yunhee was always touching Mike in a caressing manner when she felt as if no one was around. Niddie imagined taking a baseball bat to her head, but figured Yunhee would probably kill her before she even got three steps close to her. Dragon had been walking around when he found Niddie sitting at the edge of the pool, her feet soaking in the water.
"Are you thinking about a swim? It's still a bit chilly out for one..." Dragon asked.
She looked up at him, saddness in her eyes. She shook her head no. Dragon had been watching on the security tapes and understood why she had been so withdrawn and sad. He saw everytime that she ran into Mike and Yunhee...they were together and Yunhee was touching him. He saw when she saw Yunhee jumped into Mike's arms and kiss him, how Niddie took one look at them and just turned away. "You like Mike a lot huh?"
Niddie looked at him with fear in her eyes and shook her head no. Dragon sat down next to her, "It's ok...Mike told me...and I'm head of watching the security cameras. I've seen you walk in on the them...everytime."
She sighed.
"What do you know about them?" Dragon asked her.
"Nothing..."
"You haven't asked Mike?"
"No...he broke up with me. What's the point in asking when we're not together...can't be jealous. Maybe it's better this way."
Dragon sighed now, "I was with him when he was on that 3 day mission, she was the head security at the place he came to be 'stationed' at. I talked to Mike, he's crazy about you. He only sees Yunhee as his best friend, his sister. Nothing more."
"No point in telling me now. He made his decision. He is Kon's bodyguard...and I am Kon's future wife. I'm just trying to live with it. No matter what...it's not meant to be with us."
Dragon nodded, "I understand...but either way good luck and keep your head up. Well I gotta get back to work." He got up and started to walk away.
"Dragon?"
"Yeah..."
"Thank you." She said and gave him a small smile, he smiled back at her and went back to patrolling.
Niddie got up and decided she needed to get out of the house.
She went to Kon's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in."
"Hi..."
He looked up at her from a portfolio. "Hey..."
"Can I go out?"
"Where to?"
"I don't know...I just need to get out."
He sighed, "You do realize the minute you step out of this house...your life is in danger."
She just nodded.
"Ok. But don't say I didn't warn you." Kon called three bodyguards to take Niddie where ever she wanted to go. In the end it was Yunhee, Bohm, and Dragon. Mike was busy with something else Kon had him doing so he was out of the house. Niddie was kind of grateful, she didn't want it to have to see Mike and Yunhee together. Niddie decided to go to center square, there a huge fountain sat in it's architecually beautiful design. The water flowing in the fountain, gave it's metal and glass look a soft feel, it made it look like the whole stationary structure swayed with the water. Not only that but the water shoots out with the beat of music, and that excited her as if she were a 4 year old.
As she sat on the edge of the fountain just enjoying the moment, she watched as her three bodyguards stood in a triangle like formation around her. Constantly watching people as they walked by. People stared at Niddie, whispering if she was a celebrity or what. No one could figure out she was. Suddenly an explosion came out of no where causing Niddie to jump. Six huge men came running out of no where and started to attack her little group.
As they fought, Bohm turned around to Niddie, "RUN NIDDIE!" S
