Mike looked down at her. She was staring up at the ceiling but he could see the tears that rolled down the corner of her eyes. He listened carefully as she recounted what happened earlier when she was coming back from the cemetary and what she saw.

"Do you think Kon got her out?" Mike asked.

"I don't know what to think...but something doesn't seem right. Why would he be with her...and now that I think about it, we never went to trial for her. What if she comes after me?"

"I won't allow for that to happen. You know that."

"I know and I believe you, but if she's with Kon...he can send you off to a mission at any moment."

She was right, Mike thought long and hard he was going to need some insider information about Kwan. "Do you think Kon wants to kill you?"

"I don't know what that jerk wants from me."

"He says that he's after your dad. Do you know what he means by that?"

"No. I never knew anything about my dad's business. I always thought it was clean...I don't know what Kon would want from my dad. His dad's business has nothing to do with my dad's."

"Don't worry about it for now. We'll figure this out. I need to go."

"Wait...I know this is risking a lot. But please stay until I fall back asleep? I just got my handed to me for you."

"I thought you were doing it for you?"

"I was...she had it coming. But in the end I was going to prove to her that you're mine."

"I feel like a piece of meat."

"You are..just a very pretty one."

Mike pretended like he was going to punch her and she just giggled.

He laid down in bed next to her and she cuddled up next to him, "If we get away from here...where do you want to go?"

"Japan." She yawned.

"Then Japan it is." He said to her. She nodded into his chest and quickly fell asleep. Once Mike deemed it safe enough he got up and left the her bedroom.
He went to go find Bohm and Dragon, he didn't want to risk his friends' lives, but he was hoping that they would help him just a little bit.
