Her "New" Beginning.
His Vow vs. His LoyaltyNiddie woke up the next morning in a room she's never seen before. She quickly sat up when she remembered what happened last night. The news about her not being her parents biological child, her marriage to Golf was much more than arranged, and the that thinks he was going to marry her...was seriously an !
A girl about Niddie's age, or probably younger, came in. "Good morning Ms. Sinvilay. Mr. Niran has asked that you get dressed for breakfast." She said politely.
"Where the hell am I?" Niddie did not feel like being nice to anyone right now, especially if they were in connection to Kon.
"You are in Mr. Niran's home. This is your room." She answered.
Niddie just stared at the poor girl. "Why the am I here?!"
The girl seemed taken aback by Niddie's anger, "He...he wants you to...get to know him more. So he brought you to live in his home." She stuttered.
"That cocky little . He thinks this is going to make me marry him?! Bastard has another thing coming..." Niddie muttered. "I'm not hungry. Tell your "Mr. Niran" that I'm going home. Right now." Niddie said and got out of bed.
The little girl tried to stop Niddie, she held Niddie around the waist.
"Look I don't know you and I've never hit an innocent person, but if you don't let go, I swear I will beat the daylights out of you." Niddie threatened.
The little girl instantly let go of Niddie, she felt bad for saying that, but no one can be trusted anymore. Niddie pulled the door open and came face to face with Kon. He stood in front of her rubbing his chin.
"Going somehwere?"
Niddie glared at him, "Home."
"But you're home now...this is your only home. You belong to no one but me. Do you understand? Try to leave again and things will get complicated. Now get dressed and come down to breakfast like a good little fianceé." He said holding on to Niddie's chin. She slapped his hand away, he smiled and walked out of the doorway. Niddie fell to the ground on her knees, a new set of tears flowed down her cheeks.
The young girl stooped next to Niddie and wiped away her tears.
Niddie held her hands. "I'm sorry."
The girl just shook her head and smiled. She helped Niddie up and helped her get dressed. Niddie walked down to breakfast, sullen and in her own world. All she could think about was Golf, it was the only way for her to keep sane.
Kon watched the girl sitting across the table from him, she defintely wasn't the same girl that he had met a year ago at her wedding. She doesn't smile anymore and she seemed meaner, but that was ok, he'll break her and once that happens, she will be his forever.
"Niddie, my dear. Since you are now my fianceé I have a couple of ground rules that you must abide by." He saw her roll her eyes, he grinned in amusement. "1, At all times you will be with your personal bodyguard. 2, If you leave the house, I must know. 3, You are my fianceé so therefore having another man is NOT an option. 4, When I call for you, you must come to me. and 5, My personal favorite, abide by any rules that I come up with for you. Simple right?"
Niddie didn't look at him. She just sat playing with her scrambled eggs.
Kon continued speaking, "Mike here is your personal bodyguard."
Niddie looked up, the same babyfaced bodyguard that she always saw around Kon was now hers?
"Why him?" Niddie asked.
"He's the only one I can trust and his skills are impressive."
"Pfft, doubt it. Doesn't he need to be around you? And why does he look like a girl?" Niddie asked, she really didn't find it necessary to have a babysitter. Mike narrowed his eyes at her comment about his looks. She returned the look.
"I'm quite capable of handling myself. I may be a pretty boy but don't let that fool you...as for Mike's look, well he's kicked anyone's that has called him a girl," he said grinning.
Niddie stared at Mike wide-eyed. 'He could probably kill me' she thought to herself. "I think I'm going to be sick. I'm done with breakfast. If it's ok I'd like to be excused to my room." She said.
"By all means, you need your rest. Tonight I'm introducing you to my collegues so please be ready by 8pm my love."
Niddie glared at him, threw her napkin on the table and went back upstairs.
"Keep a close eye on her Mike. I think we have a fiesty one with her."
"Yes sir." Mike said and went to take his post outside of Niddie's door.
As Mike sat outside her door, he thought about the first day that he saw her. She was getting married to some pretty faced guy [who was she to question anyone's looks?]...all day long she was nothing but smiles...until the crazy exgirlfriend came in and shot the poor guy. "The things people do when they're 'in love'..." Mike thought to himself. He was glad he was a bodyguard, no time for love. You protect one person and one person only. The one you swore your loyalty to. The one you swore to protect. Mike remembered the day that he became a bodyguard...well he didn't start off as one but he was taken off the streets by a Kon's father.
Mike was 8 years old when Jiphan found him walking aimlessly around the streets. Fresh blood was coming from cuts from all over his body. Jiphan had just finished a drop off when he found the boy. "Son are you alright?" Normally Jiphan wouldn't even stop to chat with anyone, but this boy reminded him of his own
