DongHae's POV

"Arghhhh! Of all days, why did I choose to oversleep today?!” 

I groaned out in frustration as I accidentally kicked the edge of the bed frame while putting on my blouse. Why is it that everytime when I am late for something, incidents like this must happen?! 

HyunJung is leaving today and I must stop her. I don't want her to leave. I know what I did was wrong; pushing her away was my entire fault. It is difficult to juggle both friendship and relationship and I don't know how to. I want to satisfy both but I always ended up neglecting HyunJung and the boys. Not only neglecting, but I also hurt HyunJung deeply. I wanna get my best friend back.

I cut off my thoughts and quickly grab my valuables including my car keys and squeezed past the boys who crowded near the dining room. With a slam of the door, I immediately press the button for the lift and waited impatiently. The boys’ protests are so loud that I can even hear them from outside here but I ignored them. Once I got into my car, I sped off right away.

Author's POV

HyunJung sighed once again, looking at her luggage placed beside the door. She had already finished packing and will be leaving Seoul, her home, in a few hours’ time. The doorbell rang when she was checking to see if she had packed everything that is needed. She put them away and walked to the door without checking who it was. ​Little did she know that the person behind the door is someone whom she yearns to have but will never be able to. 

"D-dongHae? Why are you here?" 

"I want to talk to you. Lucky you haven't left." 

He knows I'm leaving? Must be the boys. She sighed. She has been having so many talks lately. 

"Well, I'm leaving soon, if you have anything to say, please make it quick. I don't want the flight to have to delay because of me."

HyunJung said without giving him a look but even then, she can tell that he tensed up, not used to the tone she is using. Well, she did not want to sound so cold, like a , but if she doesn't do this, she might breakdown in front of him. 

"What h-happened, Hyun? Y-you're not the usual you..." 

He held her shoulders and trailed away, probably realizing that he was the one who caused her to act like this. The problem is, he still has the audacity to ask what happened. She took a step back from his grip and his hands drop to his sides.

"Just say whatever you want to and leave already, I am busy now."

"C-can you not leave, Hyun? For me? Or even for the boys? We are all sad to hear that you are leaving! Y-you cannot just leave us like that!"

Sensing the rising anger, DongHae quickly stated his purpose of coming. He wants to stop HyunJung from leaving.

He does not want me to leave? Is it for real? I bet he is playing with my feelings again. I cannot trust him anymore after what he said. Is he even sad that I am leaving? I bet not. He is probably just here because the boys asked him to.

HyunJung just couldn't believe him.

"If you are stopping me from leaving, I'm sorry to tell you that you have failed because this is what I had chosen. I have to leave." 

She quickly shut the door only to have him block it with his hand. Since HyunJung is naturally not as physically strong as DongHae is, he got his way to stop the door from closing in his face. HyunJung just gave him a glare.

"Please. Hear me out." 

HyunJung crossed her hands in front of her chest and waited for him to go on. 

"You... you like me?"

Honestly, she was a little taken aback hearing this question even though KyuHyun had already warned her beforehand that he already told DongHae about that matter. She managed to calm herself down and soften up at this. She just smiled and looked down at her feet.

"I'm leaving really soon, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore."

HyunJung said, still holding on to that pained smile.

"No! Don't leave! Please! It matters! It does matters to me, Hyun!"

DongHae exclaimed, wanting badly to stop her from leaving. He has G.Ae though, but he cannot lose his best friend.

"It doesn't matter anymore! I have to, DongHae! I already promised my father too. And... I just wanna get out of here..." 

She muttered the last part, because she didn't want DongHae to hear it. However, he heard and he couldn't help but feel guilty. He is probably the one who caused her to want to leave this place. He feels that he does not have the right to stop her anymore and lets her do what she wants. Sighing, he said something that shocked both HyunJung and himself.

"I will wait for your return, even if you decide to leave. You are the one whom I truly love all these years. Maybe I was just confused and afraid of my feelings for my best friend and do not know how to deal with it."

HyunJung was beyond surprised and her heart beats faster than usual. It was like her heart was the only thing moving and the whole world stopped.

He loves me back? He returns my feelings? H...how? Aishh.. Don't be too naive HyunJung. He is playing with you, don't believe in him again.

However, before HyunJung can even respond to him, he gave her another surprise; a full kiss on the lips which he had never done before. He then ran back to the direction where his car was parked without another word. 

Y-yah! What was that for idiot? Was that necessary? You just made my already bleeding heart bleed more, knowing that I cannot have you. You cannot imagine what you did with just that one action.  

The tears that welled up in her eyes rolled down her cheeks and she harshly wiped them away. She cannot help but thinks that DongHae was just playing with her heart because he already has G.Ae.

DongHae could not believe what he just did. He has already been sitting in his car for the past thirty minutes. He was shocked by his own words and actions. The words just rolled naturally out of his tongue and his actions were beyond his control. They just... came out naturally? 

What the hell was I doing? I still have G.Ae and I cannot hurt them both! Arghhhhh! Lee DongHae! What is wrong with you?! Why are you messing with your own life?! 

He feels bad doing this to both the people who are important to him. Weird enough, a part of him was happy though.

Saturday! Oops, nope, it's Sunday already since it has past 12 here. ^^

I'm sincerely sorry for the super late update! I had exams for the past few weeks, YES, the lecturers just wanna schedule my 6 module exams over 2 weeks +++. -.- Well, I'm finally back! :D I bet you guys missed me during this period of time right? MWAHAHAHAHAHA. So sorry really! I'm glad you guys are still here with me! ^^ Love you guys!
