Darkness. That’s all that came to mind when she opened her heavy eyelids. Hard. She moved her hand against the fabric. Strange. Her eyes had begun to get used to the lack of light. She lifted her head off of what seemed to be a muscular arm. That is not my pillow, she thought to herself. And this is not my room. Where am I? She turned her head this way and that.

“Sica?” came a husky smooth voice.

“D-donghae?”

Jessica motioned her hand towards the phone to scroll down the page, but something stopped her. It was Donghae’s hand.

Donghae: Sica-ssi…?

Jessica: Hm?

She looked up at him and noticed that his face had gotten slightly pinkish.  

Donghae: On second thought this might not be such a great idea…

Jessica: Waeyo? This was your idea.

Donghae: Well this is kind of weird… (Rubs his and against his neck)

Jessica: What made you change your mind (lifts eyebrow)

Donghae: Well… I didn’t expect the girl to be…

Jessica had forgotten that the story was about Donghae and hadn’t noticed up until’ now that she was in it as well. She glanced at the phone’s screen once more. This was a fan fiction about the both of them…

Jessica: I didn’t know… I didn’t think that we’d have…

Donghae: Fan fictions of our own, huh?

Jessica: Yea…

She dropped the hand that she had lifted to scroll the phone and found herself touching his arm. His arm is pretty muscular… Without meaning to she brushed her fingertips along his sleeve. Donghae’s ears turned slightly red as he felt her feathered touches.

Donghae: Stop doing that (choked out)

Jessica: Doing what? (Stopped) this? (Starts again)

Donghae: Yea (gulps) that…

She leaned in slightly.

Jessica: So you want to pick off from where we left off, before the director rudely interrupted you?

Donghae: I-I…

“Put your hands up if you feel like this
Sarange ppajyeotdamyeon i gibun jinjjaramyeon"

She sits back up and answers her phone.

Jessica: (Annoyed) yoboseo?

KHJ: Busy?

Jessica: Very actually. What do you want? (Looks at Donghae)

KHJ: Let’s meet up.

Jessica: No thanks. (About to hang up)

KHJ: W-WAIT!

-What he says here is a secret-

Jessica: …Fine. (Hangs up)

Donghae: What’s wrong?

Jessica: I have to go do something. (Pouts) mianhe…

Donghae: Oh… it’s alright; here I’ll walk you out.

He gets up and offers her his hand. She takes it and they both are standing when they realize there isn’t much space in the stuffy booth. When he attempts to move over he gets uncomfortably (or should I say comfortably) close. In fact they’re practically pressed up against each other.

Donghae: You can go out first (opens door for her)

Jessica: Thanks…

Because she was trying to get out, she didn’t get to see Donghae closing his eyes and taking a deep breath of air to calm himself down. He put his hand up to his heart. It was beating way too fast. If she hadn’t gotten that call, he didn’t know what would have happened next. But who called her and why did she have to leave so soon?

Jessica: We should go back and change, huh?

Donghae: Yea… but before we do

He his finger and wiped away the hickey make-up. She hadn’t expected that and blushed at his touch.

Donghae: We can go now.

He smiled in satisfaction.
