exams are really stressing me out, & i mean really. u - u ; i'm so busy and i might need to drop some activities or something. any exam advice?
I’m sure that everyone can relate to you, since we’ve all been students slaving away at homework, assessments and exams. In a previous conversation, there were already many tips suggested for studying but here are some tips of mine that I actually employ in the exam room: Work under pressure || time yourself when doing revision and work under pressure so you get a feel for what’s going to go down in that room Read over your questions quickly beforehand|| I know that this seems stupid but you can plan ahead if you read the questions, don’t spend too much time on the questions that are worth less marks and make sure to examine your test paper for more questions. Marking the most difficult questions may also be helpful Attempt everything || guess if you have to. Make up complete buffalo crap but at least you’ve tried and if you’re lucky you might get a mark Plan || how you’re going to tackle the exam and if it’s an essay, it’s essential to plan ahead. Keep calm || panicking is not going to help your brain function whatsoever. Take a deep breath and keep positive, keep the exam in context. Failing one exam is not going to be the end of the world. Keep neat || from essay plans to geometry reasonings, keeping everything neat will make everything so much easier. You can retrace your work, figure out the problems, fix some things up. By working out everything neatly, you’re mapping your thoughts. Keeping neat will also make the marker happy and a happy marker is never a bad thing. Check || this is a little dangerous. If you’re furiously panicking, don’t feel compelled to change all your answers (unnie did this for a major exam and corrected all her right answers) but at the same time, checking over can help you spot out your mistakes. It just depends on how you work during an exam. Reflect || if you find yourself panicked and not doing well reflect on what study strategies you’ve used and keep in mind some things that you could no better next time. Keep positive at all times, exams are stressful but really, a measure of your memory more than anything else Good luck in your exams, the eye smile queen is cheering for you! :) -Tiffany (Hwang Miyoung) ♥
(Author ramblings: i think its important to keep balance in your life, don't throw all extracurricular activities out he window (ESPECIALLY SPORT) because this helps you maintain a healthy life-style. Both of us are super happy that someone FINALLY requested a female, who happens to be one of biases from SNSD, so props to you for that. I hope the previous chapter on exams and studying helps so you may want to read over that page again if you're still having trouble. Both of us go to an extremely academic school so we've learnt many tricks of the trade. Hope everything helps :D and good luck!) |
