Days later in our dorm together with my other members, we got a news that totally rocked our world - especially me. I was so shocked that I couldn't utter any word..

"Your new co host of Show Champion, Amber is.. Jessica Jung."

At first, I thought it was just a mistake, that he was just pulling a joke on us. "She will replaced Ham Eunjung as your next co host. I'm sorry, Amber.. I couldn't do anything.. That was the director's orders. Some of the producers of the show recommended her to be the new co host." I wanted to scream at him, that he can do anything because he was our manager, but I guess, I don't have guts to do that, because he did so many things for me - for the group.

Silence overtook us, I could feel their eyes on me."Amber, are you okay?"

Am I okay? I think not, Victoria unnie. "I was just.." I paused, searching for the right words to say. "Surprised."

"Amber.." I looked at Krystal who was just beside me. We were the only ones who were sharing the couch, while the others were across from us, sitting on the sofa. "Amber if you're not comfortable to work with her.. Just tell to manager oppa and he will the one who'll tell them." She said in English. Because of what was happening to me, I almost forgot her current relationship with her sister. I was wondering if they're okay or were they talking? I was curious but I never dared to ask. "Hyung. I think you just have to go along with it."

"Sulli!" Krystal said, like a mother scolding her child.

"Krystal, you have to understand. Hyung's relationship with your sister is over."

"But they had a history."Krystal reasoned.

"I know and I was one of the people who witnessed that, but it was already in the past. Besides hyung said.." Sulli glanced at me then back to Krystal. "She already moved on."

Krystal rolled her eyes down, clenching her fist that was placed on her lap. "But she hurt, Amber." She mumbled and I almost flinched by the coldness of her voice.

Sulli sighed. "Yes and I witnessed that also. But don't you think, that she was keeping herself  to moved on because she kept on avoiding your sister?"

Sulli said, put me into a deep thought. What if she said was right? That I was just locking myself from the past. "Still.." Krystal added. "I don't agree with this.."

I looked at her and hear head was still hanged low. I reached out my arm, to hold the closed fist on her lap. She looked up at me, and I smiled. Somehow she relaxed, returning the hold as she placed her other hand on top of mine. "Sulli is right, Krystal. You don't have to worry."

I shifted my gaze to our manager and the other three members across from us. "All of you don't have to worry. I already moved on, I assure you that. I have to face everything and if I want to bury the past, I also have to help myself. Thank you for your concern." I looked back at Krystal. "And thank you for taking care of me.."

"But Amber it is--" I squeezed her hand gently, smiling at her. I really appreciate her being protective but I think I have to handle this. "Trust me on this. I will be fine.."

During our ride on our way to the meeting place, which was in - of course, in MBC building at Ilsan - I wouldn't say that it was silent because manager hyung kept on talking, reminding me about the meeting and such. I know that he was just concerned, but anyways, I would say that I wasn't only talking because most of the time I was just zoning out.

For me, it was normal to say that I'm nervous meeting my ex after one and a half year. I mean, of course it was normal, we didn't talk or see each other for that amount of time, because of.. Well the incident happened.

Anticipating nor excited wasn't the right word, because honestly like what I've said I don't want to see her face again, and it would not change. It was just that, I didn't have a choice because it's work and I have a mission to accomplish - to get this done and lastly.. Closure.

We got there a little bit late because of traffic, so when manager hyung opened the door for me to the meeting room, we already saw them -  them, by means of her and their groups' manager already talking to the producer. "Oh! Amber, glad you're here!"

I was amused because when she saw me, she abruptly stood on her sit, staring at me. My heart rate increased because of her presence but afterwards I relaxed. Our eyes connected for just a brief second, because I already faced the producer. Surprisingly the eye contact didn't have any effects in me, at all. Now I can breathe normally. "Sorry we're late, PD nim. Traffic." I said smiling.

"That's okay. What important now is that you're here. We can start the meeting." He gestured us to sit and then I realized that she was sitting across from me again, the only thing that separates us was this rectangular table. I smiled at her manager which was sitting beside her and then I accidentally caught her staring at me. I ignored and faced the PD.

"Okay. I think you already know now, Amber that Ms. Jung will be your new co-MC since Eunjung decided to leave because of their upcoming concert in Japan. Right now, I will discuss to the both of you our new concept and schedule of the show."

It took him forty five minutes to explain the new concept, new segments and not to mention also the new schedule of the show, which was now Wednesdays and Thursdays. The show was getting high ratings from the audience, so the management decided that the show will be aired now twice a week.

For short, I have to work 12 hours every Wednesdays and Thursdays and it means, I would get stuck working with her for that amount of time. Seriously, how great is that?

"So that's it! Before I end this, I have to talk to your managers first. Why don't you guys talk about the new concept of the show while we were talking outside?"

"W-what?" She stammered and I glanced at her and her face shows panic. I chuckled in disbelief. I should be the one panicking here, not you. I wanted to say this to her, but I just kept in my head.

"Uhm, I said, you guys talk while we were outside. Why, Ms. Jung? Is there something wrong?" PD, asked.

She glanced at me and I ignored her again, by looking away. "Uhm.. N-nothing.."She said quietly.

"Well, okay then." He stood on his chair, and from the corner of my eye, I saw that her manager was also standing, but my manager nudged me. He lean forward. "Hey, are you gonna be okay here?" He whispered.

"Yeah. Just don't take it too long.  Don't want to get stuck here." I whispered back. He nodded and gave me a pat on my back, before the three of them, leaving us alone here in this huge room.

I let out an audible deep sigh as I took my phone in my pocket, just to get myself distracted. The whole room was quiet, well aside from the sounds coming from my phone, actually, and I really didn't care of we weren't talking to each other. I was so wrapped up on playing a game by myself.

But I would be lying if I'd say that, I couldn't feel her eyes on me all the time. It was making me uncomfortable honestly. "C-congratulations by the way on your latest album, Amber.." She stammered, softly.

Now, she's making a conversation, eh? "Hm." Was all I said.

Then silence again. Then after a few seconds, "Goodbye Summer was nice. T-that was one of my  favorite song in the album." She said as energetic as possible, but of course she failed.

I left out a 'tsk' sound, rubbing my temples in annoyance. Isn't it obvious, that I don't want to talk to you? "Hm."

Another silence again. Then, "H-how are you, Amber?" I stopped my movements. I let out an inaudible sarcastic chuckle, while gripping my phone tightly.

I rolled my tongue, inside my inner cheek. "I was okay. Actually, never been better without you." The toughness  of my voice was evident and I was sure that I hurt her feelings because of that. I may sound like a jerk, but do I care?

Then suddenly, the door flew open. "Well, okay that sett--- Ms. Jung are you okay?" I glanced at Jessica and saw her head hanged low. I didn't know what happened, because her hair was covering her face. I frowned.

"U-uh.. Y-yeah.." She sniffed and seems wiping her face also "I-I am okay, PD-nim." Then I realized that she must be crying.

"Are you cryin---"

"No!" Jessica exclaimed, standing on her seat as she shook her hands defensively. "I'm not crying. I swear. I'm okay." She said, smiling. "Uhm, can we go now PD nim?"

I also stood on my seat, walking beside manager hyung. I heard him sigh and I knew what was the meaning of it. I shrugged my shoulders, slipping my hands into my pocket nonchalantly.

"Okay, Ms. Jung, but before that, I want to tell you that tomorrow is my child's baptism. And you guys are invited. It was just a simple celebration and I want you guys to come." He said, smiling.

My jaw dropped, looking at him in disbelief. "I-I.." I hear Jessica uttered as I glanced at her. Our eyes met, but she quickly looked away. "PD nim. I don't think---"

"Nope! I won't take a rejection! I asked both of your managers if you guys have some schedules tomorrow, and they told me that both of you guys are free. I am expecting you to come tomorrow okay?"

Great, just damn great! Now I have to take a mental note to scold manager hyung later.
